I was really curious to try Ferroni's pizza. My wife and I had one for take out. The pizza was delicious and the service was very nice. However we thought that the prices were a bit high. There are many restaurants that sell good pizza for a more reasonable price. Because of the quality we might return but we will not be regulars. read more

The service at this local Manteca gem is impressive to say the least! It's that excellent service that makes you want to come back again! Very friendly people who work here! The ambiance is that of a typical small local pizzeria. It is very clean inside! Windows are huge that face the street so you can sit and watch the people and traffic outside while enjoying your pizza. I took ours to go, I ordered it in my way home from work and it was hot and ready when I arrived. Other locals recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! Check put my video! Phone order half combo and half pepperoni mushroom, was in and out a little bit on the expensive side the pizza came with a lot of toppings which is good but the dough is a little too chewy not saying I'm a pizza expert but with all that topping the pizza should hold the toppings when you pick up ur slice not have it fall off I like my pizza crust a little bit more crunchier and not so doughy I know I could get pan pizza or brick oven pizza but I wanted to try one of my last pizza establishment to knock off my list. read more

I ordered the Ferroni pizza. It came stacked with toppings, which is obviously awesome. The crust was more on the chewy side and nothing unique that stood out about it, but crust has to really pack something special or tasty to be noteworthy for me. The battered green beans were average flavor wise, but had more of a soggy French fry texture, which threw me off. I expected more crunch I think, so not something I'd order again just based on texture. The chefs salad was quite sizable, especially for an individual serving. I'd definitely order that again. Moved to Manteca in March and heard great things so decided to try. Service was very pleasant quick and inviting... loved the crust, we ordered a combo since was first time. Inside was pretty quiet it was later in evening but staff was very friendly. Only thing I can be picky about (again I said "I can be picky") is didn't care for uncooked veggies on top the bell pepper tasted freshly cut and placed on top. Other than that very rare I eat crust but loved the dough the sauce especially the sausage. Definitely my #2 place.. read more

Winner winner pizza dinner, this time I won a large single topping pizza via text! Came in on a Wednesday early night and it was surprisingly busy. Not crazy busy where pies were flying off the shelf back when I worked at Little Caesars one summer in high school. There were several folks working in what appeared meticulously slow. There's no loud talking or loud music for that matter. Since the babes does not like pepperoni, decided on a large extra sauce, extra cheese, salami, and sausage pie. This turned out to be a bad choice for the hubs, and I because none of us liked the strong taste of salami which overtook the flavor of the pizza. The salami also had more moisture and caused puddles of moisture, and the cheese and sausage appeared undercooked, but we're just not crispy. A couple of days later, placed the slices in the air fryer and they were a lot better! Also tried the mac & cheese bites for the babes, and being her picky self she took one bite and refused to eat more. The hubbs also tried them and also felt the same as her. Excellent local pizza restaurant. The fact that it is family owned rather than a chain is a definite plus every time I've been there the service has been excellent. I have had nice interaction with the pizza maker as well as the cashier. It's a small place with not much seating so the ambience is casual. I Door dashed from this place a few times now, was looking for a new pizza spot since I was tired of the franchise pizza spots near me. I'm going to have to try to dine in here one time, cause I live in stockton and I prefer a straight out of the oven pizza but that's my fault, let me say that this is prob my favorite spot right now. I always judge a pizza spot but their pepperoni and cheese and this place does not disappoint! Ferroni's is our go to for pizza in Manteca. As a follow up, tried their New Yorker pizza to go and like I expected, it was just like eating there. Got some details to share: 1). They have a brick oven that gives their pies consistency. 2). Their recipe has been handed down, it's been tested over 40 years. 3). Their Italian Dressing is also handed down, it's red like a Russian dressing with some sweetness, a really delicious blend. 4). Ferroni's wings are baked and not fried, they're after a more unctuous/fatty taste. 5). The owners are locals and one is a first responder Just more reasons to keep eating there. I ordered two pizzas for pick up from Ferroni's pizza. As soon as I finished ordering on the phone, I drove over which took about 15 minutes by the time I got there the pizza was ready hot and looked amazing. I asked for Parmesan cheese and peppers and some marinara sauce on the side, and the girl that helped me was happy to provide these extras without thinking twice! The inside of the restaurant is pretty plain yet overall looked very clean. I did order one pizza that had pineapple which looked like canned pineapple so I wasn't too crazy about that. But when the pizza was hot overall, it was really good and fresh tasting. But unfortunately, the crust did not pass the cold pizza the next day munchies test!
