I tried Curry Pizza House and honestly, I loved it. The tandoori wings were the highlight, super flavorful, a little smoky, and cooked just right with a nice char. Definitely something I'd go back for. I also got the BBQ chicken and bacon pizza which was really good too. More on the classic side, but everything worked the sauce, the bacon, the chicken, all balanced well and the crust held up nicely. And to top it off, the lady there was SUPER nice and helped me the very first time i was there. I just got a pepperoni pizza and had to walk in and tell the team, "great job!". Crust had the right crisp, ingredients were fresh and the flavor was amazing. I have had the famous Lucalli's in Brooklyn recently and no joke... this was not far off in regard to flavor. We were passing through and starving and this looked like a promising spot to stop with our kiddo. It's a small hole in the wall and we dined in. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic! We got 3 different pizzas and one was a gluten free. We ate all the adult pizzas and our kiddo ate half of her specially made little pizza. Love curry pizza and so glad to have this option in Manteca near some attractions like great wolf lodge. We ordered the butter chicken pizza to go, which was totally loaded with mildly spicy dark meat chicken, a light curry sauce, thin sliced red onion and diced tomato. My kids gobbled it up! This place was pretty good! Our go to spot is Bombay pizza in Fremont and this was pretty close to it. Better than Chicago with a twist. The flavors here are good but not as spicy or strong flavors as Bombay pizza. We tried half desi bbq (my fav) and half tandoori pizza and a side of tandoori wings. Overall service was good and the cashier was helpful and nice. The pizza was nasty, no one in our group like it. It had this weird smell as well as if the cheese was maybe spoiled. The aloo chaat pizza is not good at all. Then on top of it half of our party could eat because both of the sauces they use have eggs which is not disclosed on the ingredients. We read about Curry Pizza House in a recent edition of The Record (Stockton), and decided to try it while we were in Manteca. We had never had Indian-style pizza before, but always wondered whether it was a match made in heaven or an abomination. I'm here to tell you that it's a match made in heaven! We had half a chilli paneer and half curry chicken masala, and I can't decide which side I liked better. Traditional Indian flavors really did well on a pizza, and it was a combination of something really different with something really familiar.
