    Basil Fried rice with beef
    Leonardo A.

Pad Thai and crying tiger is good. Beef basil fried rice is a little salty. I ordered 2 Thai tea and it's sweet.

Visited this restaurant for dinner. We ordered soup and larb with chicken, both were tasty. Salad was super fresh with unique presentation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you can pass by the fact that there is no central AC and it can get quite hot inside, give this place a try as the food is rather good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service was prompt and there was plenty of parking in a shared plaza. The menu had photos of every dish, which was helpful. I tried the beef broccoli, which was more of an oyster sauce and garlic combination. The chicken satay skewers were bland and hard. The peanut sauce was on the sweet side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were some flies inside, which was a bit annoying.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Can get pretty busy around dinner time. People often come in larger groups and this is a small restaurant. Best for 2-4 people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had I reviewed this place sooner (thought I had), I likely would've given this place a 5/5 (at least for the area). They have become a go-to spot for me over the years. They are very friendly and do a pretty good job getting the food out in a timely manner. My favorite dishes: -Thai Tea & Coffee: Sweet and refreshing. -Thai Style Chicken Wings: Good Crisp. -Spicy Basil Combo (pork): Not too spicy, simple yet flavorful. -Mango Sticky Rice: the rice texture def isn't for everyone. -Beef Pad Thai: wish the sauce (for lack of a better word) had more tamarind flavor or if you could ask for it to be stronger. -Garlic Combo with Beef: basically a Thai style omelette with garlic, your meat of choice and a side of what I can only describe as a Thai style buffalo dipping sauce.

Wow found this hidden gem for lunch today! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not busy at 2pm on a Saturday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and great service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was amazing! All the flavors of Thai food hit the spot. We ordered the yellow curry with chicken, chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and for dessert we had their amazing sticky rice! Just the right amount of sweet. Definitely a place to enjoy theme t time we're in town.

I ordered this food while I was traveling through Stockton/manteca area and this was a good choice. The shrimp pad Thai had good flavor and even though I ordered mild, it had a bit of a kick and a little more on the spicy side. Can't speak of the service as I ordered take out but they did forget to give me utensils. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was nice and overall locally owned place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend this for the pad Thai as it was cooked well and had good flavors .

Went out to Lunch on a weekend, and dined in. What went right; staff friendliness & prompt service, the food was hot and flavorful (especially with the sauces provided), and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the bathroom was as clean as it should be for public use[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Oh and [[HIGHLIGHT]]it was refreshingly cool[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Had the Basil Combo Plate ('medium spice') and fried rolls. Would definitely reorder these.

Met up with two of my great friends for an early lunch here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small establishment but clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little set up inside, although depending on certain situations tables are placed very closely together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But all in all the food tasted amazing and the visual presentation of each dish that was brought out was very nice to look at and placed very well. One of my friends had previously been here so I'm guaranteed that we will meet up here again whether it be for a lunch or an early dinner. If I recall, I think their opening hours are 11 AM and that was on a Saturday.

This is a cute spot in a strip mall. The inside looks trendy and well lit. The service was great and quick. The food was delicious

This is a whole in the wall, small local businesses I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while now. It has great reviews and I love Thai food so I had high expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance resembles a small business but didn't really give me the usual Thai food spot vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't dine in, took it to go however I did post a few pictures of the dining room so be sure to check them out. Food was delicious! A bit overpriced but so good! Check out my photos of the food I bought. Service was what you would expect for a to go order. I asked for an itemized receipt but was told by the young lady that she couldn't provide one to me. Today I dined as pleasure so not an issue however when I do business meals I do need itemized receipts so this spot would not be an option for me to take anyone to a business lunch. Too bad because I tend to spend much more on those outings. I also found it odd that the prices advertised in the window don't match the menu prices inside. I mentioned this to the cashier who just shrugged it off. I tried to figure out why my meal cost so much based on menu prices inside but without an itemized receipt it was not possible. I paid $35.72 for the crying tiger and a mango sweet sticky rice dessert. I even added extra three dollars in case they charged me for side of rice but still I paid more than I should have by a few dollars. This is the reason I took off two stars. Parking was a bit challenging as this place is located in a strip mall and shared with several other businesses including a grocery store. Overall, I would love to eat the food again but the owner will need to update menu in window and in store to reflect what I'm actually paying. If not, I will have to pass. I always support local small businesses and I still recommend you give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed in the food, you may be disappointed with the price your charged though. As long as you're mindful of that, you will be good.

Great food and service! Crying tiger - steak with some bomb sauce Pineapple fried rice - super fragrant and yummy, especially with the extra fish sauce and chili and lemon Pineapple curry (medium) - concentrated wonderful flavor, packed with the fixings of veggies and meat. Golden spoon noodle - gamey broth reminiscent of Cambodian kathiew, feels like home cooking Papaya salad - thick cut and standardly yummy Service is always nice and atmosphere is always clean with upscale dining ware. I've been here twice so far and there will be no hesitation to come back the next time I'm at great wolf lodge again

I was craving papaya salad soooo bad and this was absolutely amazing. I ordered it thai spicy style with grilled shrimp. It was the perfect level of spicy, salty, and sour. I will be back often just for the papaya salad.

The food we ordered was delicious! Every item was very flavorful. We would have had a great experience as the service was great and it was a nice clean restaurant, however, a family was seated and immediately coming in, the family had no consideration for other patrons in the restaurant. I am around noise, and am typically not bothered, especially when a family is out having a nice meal while enjoying each others' company. But this family had no control of their kids nor did they care that kids were in walk ways. It's a small restaurant and they were playing now around tables. It is not a park nor outdoors. There has to be a line drawn to make others feel comfortable and enjoy their meals too. That was the only thing that bothered me that not one person gestured the kids to sit down or at least be in their area. We were all tortured. It was really hard to enjoy our meal. But it wasn't just the kids, the parents did not care. In fact, they were yelling themselves. It's about respect for others. I understand this is a one off situation because it started to get busy. It's a popular restaurant and the food speaks for itself but the business needs to control an uncomfortable environment. Everyone was upset. I was so thrown off that I didn't take pictures of everything. I wanted to get up and leave fast. But everything was solid. Ordered spring rolls, fried chicken (wet), Tom Ka Gai, Ginger whole fried fish, pad see ew with pork, and crab fried rice.

Review #1,006 Posted on 2.28.28…read more We stopped in here on a whim on Friday night the 27th while in town, actually originally to try another restaurant. This spot is in a strip mall on Louise Ave in Manteca. We got greeted & sat right away when we came in. The staff here doesn't stop moving, it's pretty much 3 people on the service side, they take orders, run food, & check on you. I believe the guy who checked on us a lot, I want to say his name was Lieness. Super nice guy, hard worker. The other ladies too. Food was good, for sure it's marked up, but I thought quality of the seafood, and the way it was cooked was good. I've got a high standard for the sauce, this one was for sure spicy, stayed on the seafood and corn pretty well. To me that's how you can separate these boil spots from each other. When you pull the shrimp out of the bag and de-shell it does the sauce drip right off? If it does, to me that's a sign of bad sauce, it's not getting infused on the seafood, corn, potatoes, etc. This spot it was decent, but better than most. Cheese sticks were good, sweet potato fries were too, healthy portion on that. We'll probably come and eat here again for sure down the line.

Service was extremely slow and lacking, I normally don't mind if servers just leave you to do your own thing but good service was practically non-existent here if it's anything beyond taking your order as soon as you sit down and bringing it to you after it's cooled down to nearly room temp. I did not think it was possible to make seafood boil bland but it somehow just was. No flavor at all, not even salty. Absolutely would not recommend

An amazing home-y spot for Asian comfort food in Manteca :)…read more For appetizers, we got the bang bang shrimp and spicy wontons and both were delicious. I liked how crispy and sweet yet tangy the bang bang shrimp was. This was probably my favorite item we tried! The chili wontons weren't too spicy and they were really generous with the amount of shrimp inside. Shrimp & wonton noodle soup was def a comfort meal growing up, so I'm happy they had that here! Portion size was very generous and broth was tasty. Noodles were cooked well too, and I liked the filling of the wonton. We also got the curry ramen with katsu chicken. The chicken was sooo crispy, it was one of my favorite items. The bacon kimchi flavor had a nice spicy kick to it. The beef chili oil noodles was tasty and I liked the small beef bits. The bang bang chicken had the same sauce as the bang bang shrimp, but I liked how the entree came with rice too. The philly cheesesteak eggrolls were super crispy, and if you're a cheese lover, you need to try this! Overall, a really solid spot for Asian fusion food, and the servers were all extremely nice and patient as well. Service was really quick!

The baguette was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy inside. The char siu pork was tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized around the edges. Crisp pickled carrots and daikon, plenty of cilantro, and fresh jalapeños brought everything together. It's a well-balanced sandwich with a portion that's just right. The Grilled Chicken Roll'd deserves more attention. The grilled chicken reminded me of a flavorful chicken satay, and the peanut sauce complemented every bite without overpowering the fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a lighter, protein-packed option, this is it. They also offered complimentary strawberry and passion fruit refreshers. They were a little sweeter than my preference, but the flavors were refreshing. Next time, I'd order one at 50% sweetness. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and a welcome escape from the Central Valley heat. Service has always been friendly, and it's the kind of place where both the staff and regulars make you feel welcome. SERVICE: The service was great, and our waitress even walked out to us in the parking lot with our to-go box after we forgot it inside. So sweet! AMBIANCE: The best time to come here is on a sunny day when you can enjoy the deck and view of the water. There's a park right out front, so it's very family-friendly! We also brought our puppy with us twice and sat outside. PARKING: The parking lot is quite small, so you might have to park in one of the adjacent neighborhoods and walk over on a busier day.
