Absolutely amazing. From the time you walk in the door, you are absolutely thrown back in time from the little wanted QR code posters to the old-school style. Replicate a cash register. The chandeliers on the ceiling give you romantic lighting. You have the gold leaf decor It's truly beautiful and perfect in every way. I think the only area of the decor that is lacking is that the pictures on the wall don't match the name of the business or the look that they're going for. The gold frames are nice on some of the pictures, but the pictures themselves should definitely be changed out. This is absolutely the perfect size for a pizza place. Small and conveniently located. Customer service is beyond excellent. I can definitely see this being a really cool hangout spot for small groups. When it comes to cleanliness, I don't know that I've ever seen. The interior of a restaurant this clean. And that speaks volumes for the business and how much the employees and the owners care about it. I know that this is an express location, so it's more for to-go-based orders. But the only thing I find as a disadvantage for the people who want to eat inside is that they don't have a soda machine or an ice machine. They do offer to-go drinks, bottled sodas, etc. But that doesn't really do you any good. You could probably go to the gas station in the parking lot and get a cup of ice if it was really that serious. I don't like the ranch at all it's lacking flavor and is super tart just off putting. The spicy ranch is all jalapeño and maybe some chili flakes; not sure but it's just as off as the regular ranch. But everyone has different taste buds, and for some people, these ranches might be absolutely amazing. This is just my opinion. Now, although I believe the barbecue sauce is probably store-bought, it definitely makes everything taste better. And I would have to say I believe strongly that both versions of the ranch are made in-house. The breadsticks are wonderful and a good portion size. Make sure you get them with cheese and garlic. The pizza dough is good, definitely, ask for it to be cooked a little extra I think that crunch makes it that much better but the pizza sauce again is probably made in-house and is very Italian seasoning-forward very light tomato taste. It could definitely use some tlc to turn it up a notch but it's not terrible it just speaks to inexperience. Again just my opinion. NOTE TO THE OWNER, don't use the "menu" under the pizza or breadsticks it holds all the grease and oil and makes the food soggy. Just FYI I know it looks cool but doesn't work. Food is super filling but a little overpriced, I just see a few areas for improvement. Overall a great experience the customer service would have me come back by itself. read more

We've been going to the Ripon location for 10 years and have been so pleased there is a Manteca location now as well. Today I ordered in advance online around 9 am for pick up at 4:15 pm. The young men who checked me in at the counter when I picked up were so polite and sweet. I mentioned it was my son's 15th birthday today and wanted to add on a piece of chocolate cake to our order. He went back and got me the slice of cake and told me he chose the biggest piece for my son's birthday and wished my son a happy birthday as he rang me up. So sweet! The same young man was training another young new employee and he was doing such a great job training him and explaining why they do the thing he was training him on, the way they do it. You don't often see younger kids being so responsible and thorough these days, so it was amazing to see such a responsible and polite young man. I have been wanting to go to the Ripon location but then we found them close to my cousins place. A regular customer of their other locations, our friend, says they have the best pizza and gave us this box of a medium pepperoni to try. Yum!! I can't wait to order for myself someday soon They are located more in a residential area with a few other businesses and a gas station so not really had to find. Service could vastly improve. The AI "Wild Bill" who answers the phone & takes your order is BS. Because then you have to talk with a real human & do the order all over again. The kid that answered my call, hung up on me twice, The 3rd time, someone took my order, then gave the phone to a supervisor who thought I had "a problem". I didn't not. I just wanted pizza! None of this is exaggeration. I drove from Stockton to Manteca for Gold Dust. Picked up my pie and bread sticks, drove home. Called in our order and usually we prefer going to Ripon since it's a sit-down but tonight we decided to give the express in Manteca try. Tonight, the new AI that sounds like an old gold minor was taking phone orders. The AI repeated and confirmed my order three times, yet when I got there, my Pizza had ham, after requesting no ham. Learned their AI system wasn't transferring information properly and there had been other incorrect orders. They quickly remade my order and bumped up the size from a large to an extra large. I was so hungry from smelling pizza and watching other people eat that by the time I got home, I had forgotten to take photos. Thanks to the upgraded extra large, we have tons of leftovers. Gold dust is a loaded pizza with lots of toppings and thick marinara made with wine. More like a pan pizza. This is a maximum two slices of pizza and you're stuffed because they're so loaded with toppings. If you're more a New York style pizza, then this isn't for you. Everytime we talked about pizza, this place always come up and were always hyped up. So we decided to finally try this place one day we were craving for pizza. Motherlode Pizza- a meatlover's dream pizza filled with salami, pepperoni, ham, linguica,bacon, sausage in red sauce and cheese overload. You get all meats in every bite and each one compliments them well. It's a meat party in your mouth. Cheese Pizza- although this is just your basic one topping pizza, it was such a delight. The cheese pull you get from it made it worth every bite. It's melted and gooey cheese goodness together with their red sauce was a flavor satisfaction. Boneless Buffalo Wings- I usually love my wings in traditional way, but since having braces made it impossible to gnaw on them bones clean so I opted for this one. Their Boneless wings were fried well, breaded lightly and juicy. The buffalo sauce does not overwhelm you with their tanginess. It has a nice mild kick and I can bite into it with no problem. These slices could not even hold up all the toppings because they weigh it down from being so loaded with them. They are not stingy with their ingredients so it was all worth the price you paid for. We ordered it to be picked up and their service was prompt and the food were ready and still warm when we got home. Very disappointing experience--twice now. I picked up a pizza order that was burnt and extremely dry. When I asked about it, Allison, the manager, said this is their standard way of baking pizzas. I was told I could come back the same day only for a remake, with no refunds offered. If you can't return immediately, you're simply out of luck which is a huge inconvenience for customers. This is also the second time we've had an issue. On a previous order, we got a triple pepperoni pizza with so much grease that oil leaked out of the box and all over the seat of my car. When I asked to speak with a higher-level manager, I was told she was the only person and no additional contact information would be provided. I've never experienced a place where fixing bad food or service is limited to one rigid option that only benefits the business. We've supported this company across multiple locations--their pizza spots (including Ripon), their ice cream shop, and Falcon's Lair but this experience has completely turned us off. Hands down one of the best pizzas we've had. Brought the family in to check it out, we got there almost closing time and they still served us and let us eat there. Miners special was enough to feed our family of 5. We were even able to get a specialty pizza with 2 different sets of toppings. We got half all meat and half white sauce chicken. It was overflowing with toppings, meat was flavorful and cheese was on point. Crust was perfect. The staff was so nice. Definitely our new favorite. I was in last week I had a phone order and went in to pick it up and was asked if I had a online order and I replied no I have a phone order the girl that helped me yelled WHAT!! I looked around and composed my and said I have a phone order. I am say all this to say she was so rude even the other customers were taken back.
