$10 bucks for a small meal and drink, not bad at all

The ambience is super chill, and the servers are very friendly. We had a slice of pizza with a Mediterranean salad which was really delicious and fresh 1000% recommend this place they have a nicely loaded bar area with a huge variety of drink selections!

Great little pizza joint. We came by to try the slice and drink deal while we waited for my niece to get out of high school near by. They have available parking and the decor makes this place really interesting. Pizza was good. We all got pepperoni but deep dish and the regular way. I'm unsure if refills for the drinks are available because they only brought the pizza and drinks to us after they warmed the pizza, so that was mainly the only interaction we had with the service, ordering and it being delivered to us. Nothing to complain about with fast service anyways. They give a number and you choose where to sit Small groups can enjoy but available seating seems more for solo or couples. I suggest bigger groups should order take out I sure would recommend to drop by for lunch

Second time here, and the experience was not so positive. I ordered a "thick" crust pizza, and was given a thin crust pizza. My family and I were extremely disappointed, and should've checked the pizza before driving home. I wanted to keep the pizza hot and had a distance to drive, so I didn't open up the box. So I called to let them know the issue, and the girl didn't even bother offering a discount or anything for the next time we came in, even though our pizza was made incorrectly, and we told her we had drove from out of town, and on top of that we tipped. ‼ This is in response to the manager's response to my review- Of course we ate it, we paid for it. What else was I supposed to do, throw the pizza away, or drive it all the way out of town back to your restaurant , after your employee didn't even offer a simple discount, or remake when I called? Which by the way, we called about the issue before even touching the pizza. Yes you're correct, I shouldn't have just trusted that your employees had the ability to make a simple thick crust pizza, and should've checked the pizza myself. Welp...

The pizza is really good. They have a lot of options and everything is made fresh which I appreciate. The service is on point. They are friendly, offer suggestions, and over all do a great job. I lived the vibe of the place. It's got an eighties theme that is cool without going over board in kitschy. The beer and cider selection is really good as well. Overall it's a great place to come for good great pizza and some beer and hang out with friends or your significant other.

Haven't had pizza this good in a really long time! The crust was nice and crunchy with this olive oil cheesy taste I cannot get over. It was so good, I could have just eaten pizza dough by itself. There was lots of meat and toppings on each pizza and was definitely filling and delicious. I was not disappointed at all. Loaded with flavor in every bite. These pizzas were made with love and passion. The cheesy bread was a hit, ate almost half of it before even arriving home. When I went to pick up my pizza, they had a hot station with slices or pizza and little calzones, ended up buying one as well as I waited and it was delicious. So cheesy and loaded with flavor. Next pizza night we will be grabbing pizza from here. Service was great. Friendly staff who were fast and efficient. Decor was fun, love all the retro toys and decor that just flooded my heart with memories of my childhood growing up. There is also a little Pac-Man game to play. Nice and clean inside and well kept.

The medium combo pizza very dry & skimpy.

My first time going. Read all the great reviews. Ordered the medium combo to go. Was excited to try the place. Very displeased with the pizza. Hardly any sauce, cheese or toppings. The people working were friendly and kind. But the pizza was not good. I should have gone to the pop-up and had Guido's. Lesson learned.

I really wanted to like this place based on the menu alone! I ordered the La Luna as I typically love white sauces (and anything that comes with multiple cheeses!) With the exception of directly biting into the chunks of garlic, all components of the pizza were collectively lacking flavor. The white sauce seems to have been just a mere cream base, left completely as is, and fell quite flat for me. If it weren't for the fact that you can visibly see the oregano, I'm not sure I would have ever known it was there. I do appreciate that it's a thinner crust pizza and am not ready to write them off just yet. I'll be back to try the red sauce side.

Kinda hip! Good food. Local micro beers. Great ingredients. Will be back. I like all the windows inside.

What a great spot for down town, located on the corner across the street from Bank of America. We came for the grand opening and was impressed with the turnout, lots of locals, including folks from the art community. They had a DJ, VW group, and coffee cart outside. Inside was Pizza and a bar with beer on tap. I believe during weekdays they have pizza by the slice for five dollars a slice for both regular and deep dish slices

Nice chill vibes inside. Love the decor. Good beers on tap. The pizza is good. Nice and crispy. Servers are nice. The ranch is exceptional. Will be going back to try different things.

I was so excited to finally try Retro Pie. We decided to go with slices and drinks (slice alone $5, slice with drink $6- great price!) We each tried something different (pepperoni, cheese and triple something with pesto, red sauce, white sauce). Each were very good. Next time we will get a full pie and try the Cali Burn which is what I had really wanted. They've done a great job with the inside. Love the drenched black ceiling and vibe. They have a bar with what looks like tons of beers on tap, and good music videos playing. Very kind and attentive service, too!

I'm from the peninsula and wanted to support a local business as I was visiting family for the holidays. Decided on Retro Pie due to the reviews on Yelp, went for an online order for pickup. Ordered at 4:45pm for a 5:20pm pick up time. I arrived at 5:25 expecting the 2 pizzas, Hecka Meat (medium) and Combo Nation (small) and unfortunately the order was not ready. I can understand a few minutes, but I ended up waiting for another 20 minutes to get my order. So, the expected 5:20pm order wasn't ready until 5:45. Inexcusable. The place was moderately busy, but there wasn't too much effort on the staff to accommodate the wait. Was told one was ready, but the other was still in the oven, which would have been ok, but it was pretty obvious that they were both just starting, cause it shouldn't take an extra 20 minutes to make. All I could do was wait. Wasn't offered a drink, so I just stood there watching the TV. The place still seems new, with a bar and a handful of tables for dine in. Took the order home, the offered grated parmesan, peppers and ranch along with plates and napkins for the takeout order. As for the pizza itself, the combo wasn't anything special and I probably could have been just as satisfied with the Costco combo pizza and gotten 2 of them for the same price as 1 here at Retro Pie. The Hecka Meat pizza, unfortunately did not have hecka meat. It was a medium size, but would only be good for 2 people max. It'd probably be better to take advantage of the lunch time slice deal than to order a whole pie as $50 plus tip for 2 pizzas wasn't the best price point, especially when the ready time wasn't accurate. Maybe it was an off night, but it's definitely not a 5 star place for Yelp.

Great pizza, cool vibe, though it doesn't seem for everyone, we love the slightly overcooked crust. By far our favorite pizza in town.

Worth Every Minute of the Drive!…read more We made the 28-minute drive from Tracy to try Happy Pizza, and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered a custom pepperoni and sausage pizza with their 3-cheese blend, and wow it was amazing. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, super cheesy, and had very little crust, just the way my kids like it. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. We also got to sample the pepperoni sticks with hot honey, and they were incredible. The sweet heat from the honey paired perfectly with the pepperoni. Honestly, I could eat those every day... as long as I keep working out! The garlic knots were another highlight. They were soft, fresh, and seasoned perfectly, not overly garlicky, but just the right amount. They practically melted in your mouth with every bite. The customer service was just as impressive as the food. One of the owner's daughters helped check us out, and she did an amazing job. She was friendly, welcoming, and even offered my daughter a popsicle because it was such a hot day. Those little gestures really make a difference. To top it all off, the Jarritos drinks, Fruit Punch and Mandarin were the perfect finishing touch to an already fantastic meal. If you're looking for fresh, authentic pizza, amazing sides, and outstanding customer service, Happy Pizza is a must-visit. We'll definitely be making the drive again and honestly, we'd do it just for that pizza!
