Arrived about 9:10pm. We were greeted and seated immediately. We partly selected this restaurant because it is open until 10pm on weekends. The restaurant was quiet with only a few people and pop music playing. We promptly ordered two Bimbibap bulgogi beef. Our food arrived about 10 minutes. Both dishes looked great and had good flavor although a little heavy on the salt is the reason for the drop to four stars. Recommend!

Kimchi Fried Rice, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi (Lunch)

Gogi has been my go-to for Korean food for years. Service is quick, and the quality & taste of the food is consistent. The layout inside is open and welcoming with plenty of tables and booths. They start you out with 6 banchan (small side dishes) - my favorites are the fish cake, spicy cucumbers, and kimchi. For appetizers, I like the Kimchi Pancake and Calamari. For entrees, I like the Spicy Chicken Bulgogi - it's actually barely spicy, but you can ask for it to be extra spicy. It comes with a serving of white rice. However, I like to eat it with the Kimchi Fried Rice. It is so flavorful and comes topped with a fried egg. My family really likes the Spicy Squid & Pork Belly. It is packed full of flavor, and we like to drizzle the sauce over white rice. During winter, I also order the Soon Tofu Soup with kimchi (they have meat options as well). It comes out boiling hot and has a little spicy kick that warms me right up! They also drop a raw egg in it that's perfectly boiled by the time it gets to the table. You can choose the spice level - mild, medium, spicy, or very spicy. They offer bento box specials for both lunch and dinner. One thing I haven't tried is their Fried Chicken which comes in a few different flavors. Gogi has a second location in Ahwatukee, but I haven't been there yet. The Chandler one is located in the same plaza as Lee Lee Supermarket. There is some parking in front of the restaurant and around the corner, or a nearby lot between the restaurant and CVS.

Great food at fair price. Good size portions. Clean, seating inside and out. Order at the counter, you are called when order is ready. Staff is friendly. Reasonably quick service. Delicious food.

I came here for dinner on a weeknight and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the spicy rice cake with ramen, the bulgogi bibimbap, and the sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. My favorite dish was the spicy rice cake. The portion was huge! It had a good ratio of rice cake to veggie to ramen. Each bite was delicious. The Korean fried chicken was delicious as well. I wish they had a boneless option but it was delicious nonetheless. Overall the food was good and the service was nice.

Gogi is the type of spot you need to scratch that itch for korean comfort foods. The portions for most of the menu is huge so definitely bring friends or be ready to have leftovers. The vibe in Gogi is more casual, playing KPop music videos, and not too loud. The staff is polite but not in your face about it. The spicy rice cake with ramen and dumplings is around 27$ give or take which was plenty of food for 2 people. Overall, Gogi is a nice cozy spot for getting korean classics like Korean Fried Chicken or Kimchi Rice as well!

I live near the Ahwatukee location of Gogi and love their food, so this was my first time visiting this location. It's clean, spacious, and super cute with the string lights and the K-pop music added such a fun ambiance! We ordered lunch bento boxes. I got the spicy pork belly, which could've been a little spicier (just my preference), but it was still delicious. My child had the chicken katsu; it was a bit overcooked in some spots, but still good overall. Service was fast and efficient! The older gentleman who seated us was very helpful and attentive, we really appreciated that. When we were leaving, they even gave us a to-go bag without us having to ask. Overall, we loved the food and the service. We'll definitely be back!

Great Korean in east valley. It is a little expensive, but food is always great. Their kimchi soon tofu soup is a favorite. Their fried chicken is delish too. Always big portions as well. Friendly quick service. Always very clean and organized.

We ordered the army hotpot, pork bulgogi, and fried chicken. I wasn't fond of the army stew, but others in my party liked it. I thought the chicken and bulgogi were excellent. Very traditional Korean food

Had lunch with kids, and they love this place to get their Korean food fix in Arizona. My wife and I see why as we enjoyed everything we ordered. Starting with the Bonchon, each dish was delicious with its own unique flavor. The Kimchi Pancake was devoured, and my wife enjoyed her soup. Our service was polite and checked on us frequently. Overall, we see why our kids who are local have this spot in their rotation, and I am sure we will be back in the future.

Welcoming vibe upon entering, was assisted right away. Had a little communication issue but all went well and still enjoyed our lunch there. We got the bento lunch boxes and an appetizer. Food definitely is on the pricey end but we enjoyed ourselves! Very filling! As the time passed, place started getting busy as expected during lunch hours so the staff were running around/trying to assist everyone and apologized if delayed.

Been here a few times now and have had a different experience every time. The portion size for their entrees is quite generous, with appropriate pricing. Taste-wise however, their food isn't consistent. Their food can taste delicious and on point one visit, and the next visit those same dishes can be lacking in flavor. But there are also certain dishes that I've had from here that have stayed consistent. Those being, the kalbi and the garlic fried chicken, both are dishes that are hard to go wrong with at any Korean restaurant. Overall, service is friendly enough but has always been quite slow. The restaurant might look small from the outside, but it's quite spacious with plenty of tables. The décor on the inside is simple, with not much of an ambience.

Checked this one off my bucket list! Good location in the Lee Lee's plaza, but tucked away in the corner of the plaza with no signage on the store front, except pictures....so look closely. The seafood pancake alone was worth the trip. Very well seasoned, packed with seafood protein and amazing flavor. Definitely shareable amongst the table. The bulbogi hot stone plates was decent with the crispy rice and veggies. The beef was decent and tender but very minimal amounts. Not sure I'd order this again. But if I did, I'd order with a side of extra beef. The table was loaded with side dishes, kimchi, marinated potatoes, cucumbers and more...all were great side dishes that pair well with the Korean dining experience. The bathrooms are tucked in the back and could use some work, especially as it had a strong smell of propane or gas. I assume this is from the kitchen gas open flame stoves. Service was not the best as one of our folks in the group didn't get her meal until we were pretty much finished. We had to get up and ask a few employees, which our server was sitting in a booth and looked exhausted. Guess he's working over time and just best. Felt bad for the guy. But all was made good from the woman, which I believe was the owner. I would definitely come back, regardless of the service. The food alone was worth it.

When choosing all you can eat buffets, I think you have to be realistic about what you are trying…read moreto achieve versus what is realistically possible. And with that declaration, I will say that Pacific seafood buffet definitely delivers as long as your expectations are realistic. And I would even argue that even if your expectations aren't realistic, they do a pretty damn good job delivering the goods when it comes to variety. While this is not a sushi buffet focused concept, they have a lot of great premade rolls sashimi and nigiri available around the sushi bar along with all the accompaniments that you would need to just eat sushi if that's what you desire. But they have far more selection than just those items. In addition to that they seem to be primarily known for their fresh crab legs, shrimp, and other seafood, but I honestly found those items to be some of the less interesting and less flavorful items available in the restaurant. As with any of these crab leg based, buffet's, the crab legs stayed empty, or mostly empty with you, having to special request some from your server, or at least notification from one of the cooks on when the next batch was going to be dumped. Again, as long as your expectations are in line, this is probably not a big deal for you. It wasn't for us. What I really like about this spot is the level of delicacies they offer which are clearly targeted to a primarily native Asian audience but for foodies like me, who like to venture out and try new things, this is a great way to do it without having to feel like you wasted your money on one dish that you may or may not end up eating. And while they encourage you to eat the food you take off of the buffet, they are not militant about it and don't hesitate to clean plates off of the table or refill your drinks, which is something we really appreciated. It can be a little crowded with larger families and crab leg fanatics, who only seem to be there to rush to the bar every time a new set of crabs are dumped, but other than that I would say this is a pretty enjoyable spot if you're just looking for a very affordable seafood buffet that features some of the better fresh seafood and sashimi items in the city.

We paid and walked out. If you can't match your pricing to your own website, that's a red flag. Won't be returning, and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This place looked like it did a good seafood boil and was located near where our hotel was. Upon entering we were greeted and sat right away. I wasn't aware of this, and placed all the discarded items on top of it while eating bareheaded as I didn't see supplies, and no one was around to ask. Usually places will bring on the side, and I wish I was told that in advance when it was brought to the table. It made for quite the mess, but if we return I'll know for next time. Once our server returned to check in after 10+ minutes that's when we were advised, and I adjusted though I had put my boil bag in there so most had been soiled. They have a pretty basic menu, with some appetizers, and then all seafood options are available to be ordered as salads, tacos, sandwiches, and platters. My friend ordered the Garlic Butter Red Snapper sandwich and I got two tacos, one shrimp & one fried fish. We also got a side of fries (paid extra as there are no sides that come with the sandwich). My friend said her sandwich was pretty good, a bit messy to eat but had good flavors. That was the least expensive sandwich option, which was already a bit of a steep cost, the other were even more. If it came with fries or another side, it might have been a better deal. The additional side of fries we ordered were good though, nothing special, but nice and crispy as you'd want. While there was nothing inherently wrong with the tacos, it is interesting that all options have the same toppings (cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and white sauce); the protein is the only thing that's different. The fish was fried well and crispy, shrimp was pretty basic. There was a lot of cabbage and not enough sauce so I had asked for additional dressing on the side so I could basically eat the taco like a mini salad. The restaurant is nice and service was good while we were there. We had gotten soda and our server checked in on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we wanted. I'd order something else next time, like maybe the larger plate (with protein, rice, and salad) or just a traditional fish & chips basket that comes with coleslaw.
