After a brief google and Yelp search, I decided to try out The Bronzetique and I was not let down! The studio was super easy to find w the helpful directions given, and I was even able to be seen a bit early which was fab. Stefani was extremely thorough w the airbrush and we had a great conversation too! After showering, I could immediately tell that this was one of the best quality tans I've ever had, the color was perfect and exactly what I was looking for and it was SO even throughout! I had my event last night, and the color hasn't faded at all (got my tan on Tuesday morning so it's been about 3 days). I'm so so happy with my results and know that this will definitely last me through my events for the rest of the weekend. The only downside is that she's not located in NYC! I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in town!

Per other Yelpers, I booked with John because I enjoy deep tissue and apparently he is great (spoiler alert: HE IS THE BEST!!). Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. Thank you Spavia for allowing me to relax for once since having my baby 4 months ago!

If you use multiple machines during your visit you have to keep going to the front to let them know your ready and every time you go to the front you have to wait in line while they try to sell products or check people in. They constantly try to sell you product. I didn't even know they had robes until a year later when I heard them asking a new person if they want a robe. They have a red light therapy sign on one of the rooms and it's definitely not a red light therapy bed and of course the employees don't know any better. The steam pod smells like urine. I had to get out of it. It was disgusting. When I tried to cancel I had to email them. When I emailed them I received no response or confirmation. Then I tried the live chat. Live chat worked but I did not receive a confirmation email and was left wondering if I'm getting charged again. Like I said just throw the whole place away.

I was running late and called ahead. She said there was nobody after me and could wait, but told me to "hurry up and to take another route" and this was when I was only about 8 minutes late. I said I respect her time and I can come in anytime later in the day or anytime the next morning. I was still charged a fee for the cancellation -- even though it was her suggestion. I had been looking forward to using their services, but now I don't feel comfortable booking here again. I wish the customer service matched the hype, because I was genuinely excited to support them. She will not make it in this industry with her rudeness and lack of respect for customers.
