I was immediately comfortable and settled in for a full body massage with CBD oil add on and Hot Stones. Do the hot stones!!! This was my first time at Spa Habitat and it was above and beyond my expectations. Sometimes in massages I feel obligated to make chit chat and small talk, not here. Sometimes during massages, the therapist sort of misses the mark and doesn't pinpoint all the right areas, but not here. It was the best massage I've ever had, from my scalp to my toes, I really felt like each movement was intentional and done with precision. I relaxed and got out of my head! I needed a lot of help on my shoulders, neck, and hips, and the pressure and attention to my muscles & spine were just so good. She is gold! Thank you Afsoon. So worth the visit! Worth the investment! Gorgeous cozy spa setting in a beautiful charming home turned spa, creaky wooden floors and vintage chandeliers, low lighting, tea and hot neck pillows as you relax in the waiting area. Professional, Relaxing, and Consistent Hand & Stone in Allen…read moreis a reliable option for massage and facial services when you're looking for something professional and relaxing without a luxury spa price point. The space is clean, calm, and well maintained, and check-in is generally smooth. Therapists are attentive and professional, taking time to ask about pressure preferences and any focus areas before starting. Treatments are consistent and effective, especially for stress relief or routine maintenance rather than specialized or high-end spa experiences. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient, though the membership and add-on offerings are part of the standard script and can feel a bit repetitive. It's not overly pushy, but it is noticeable. Overall, this Allen location delivers a dependable, relaxing experience. Not extravagant, but well run and a solid choice for regular self-care.

I had the srub and massage done. Massage was solid, nothing to write home about but it was decent for sure. Scrub was interesting for sure, i enjoyed it, i enjoyed their choice of soaps and shampoos. I would argue that the waiting area is not as clean as it should be, you have people who are just coming in with their street clothes sitting there as well as people who just finished their hamam service in their robes, that didn't sit well with me. It is pricey for sure and it feels rushed through the service package. Locker room is small and not as pricate or clean as you would expect it to be. Overall decent experience but i don't think i would rush to go back.

Finally, I got to go! It was 1/2 of this year and I got their scalp detox treatment while my husband got a massage. I loved my experience! Tina was the nice lady who did my session. She was so easy to talk to and had a lot of knowledge regarding my hair health. She gave me tips on everything and I have been following her advice ever since! We loved our experience so much that we came back again for valentine's day and we both got the massage this time around. Summer did my massage and it was definitely a relaxing massage. Although she did focus a lot on my upper spine area so it definitely was a bit sore after, but partly my fault for not speaking up. Overall, this place is amazing. I will be back to try more of the different services they offer. Staff is great. Clean lobby and space. There is a changing room with lockers, robes and slippers. They have 2-3 private massage rooms. There are 4 scalp treatment beds side by side, but still plenty of space on one side and the other side are for facials (?) I'm assuming. After our massages, they gave us 2 $10 gift certificates and 2 boxes of chocolates. It was so sweet! It was pouring rain that day and I saw a staff walk out some of the customers with an umbrella to their car, which I thought was so thoughtful! Note: Parking is limited in front of their store so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare.

I was able to easily make an appointment, I arrived a little early and was greeted by a lady who spoke little English (I asked a question and she had to put it into Google translate, so she understood me and I appreciated her making the effort to respond). I checked in on an iPad where I also gave consent for services (would prefer this being sent when I made the appointment so I can read over it and not feel rushed). I was walked back to a room and was given a towel and told to take my top off and get on the table. She stepped out and while I was undressing I realized that the walls don't go all the way up and very thin (think of a changing shade in a dress shop) so I could hear everything that was taking place in the room next to me. I will say that my head was washed very well but once everything was done and I got dressed, I was lead over to a chair and shown how to use the blow dryer and she left. Once again, language barrier, so I sat there for a minute wondering what's next and then I realized, I'm suppose to dry my own hair. This was a little far for me so I can't say I'll be back soon however my hair was really really clean when I left.

However, compared to another scalp spa .. here they focused more on massage .. so like 60-40 , 40 being the scalp treatment. I've definitely been to other hair spas that provide more like 30-70 with 70 being the scalp treatment. They also upsell me on scalp exfoliating for $30 but it was just using a big hard brush on my scalp ... so judge it yourself. However, we use Groupon and that made the experience more affordable. Would we come back? Yes for special occasion.

However, neither of us realized that the treatment involved an extended hair washing process. As a Black woman with coiled hair, having my hair repeatedly washed, rubbed, and tangled for such a long period caused significant breakage and hair loss. What may work for other hair types was not a good fit for mine. I also felt uncomfortable at the end of the appointment when I was asked to leave a review while the employee stood nearby watching. I felt pressured to leave a 5-star review rather than honestly rate my experience. During checkout, there was confusion regarding a gift card. I was told there was no way to see the balance because the system changed. Since I had never used the card before, she requested that a manager verify the balance. She could not get her boss on the phone so said she would trust me. At that point, I chose to leave. This service may be enjoyable for some people, but it was not the right experience for me. Based on my experience, I would not return. By the way I didn't get a head message or neck massage. I saw others getting pampered. Unbelievable!!!
