Her Scalp Spa treatment was nothing short of transformational--deeply cleansing, soothing, and revitalizing. My scalp felt lighter, healthier, and completely refreshed. She has a gift for knowing exactly what your skin and scalp need. But the real showstopper was the Glass Skin facial. Carol's technique left my face unbelievably smooth, radiant, and glowing like porcelain. I've never had results this fast or lasting--my skin looked plump, hydrated, and luminous for days. She uses high-quality products and customizes everything to your skin type with such care and precision. Carol is a true professional with a gentle, healing touch. She's knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about helping her clients feel confident and beautiful. I left her spa not only looking radiant but feeling completely renewed. She is so comfortable to talk with and I feel like I made a new best friend! I will come back to truly see her sweet spirit! If you want next-level skincare and scalp health, run--don't walk--to Carol. This was an elite, five-star experience from start to finish.

My experience was disappointing, and I would not return…read more My husband booked this service because he thought I would enjoy a relaxing head massage. However, neither of us realized that the treatment involved an extended hair washing process. As a Black woman with coiled hair, having my hair repeatedly washed, rubbed, and tangled for such a long period caused significant breakage and hair loss. What may work for other hair types was not a good fit for mine. I also felt uncomfortable at the end of the appointment when I was asked to leave a review while the employee stood nearby watching. I felt pressured to leave a 5-star review rather than honestly rate my experience. During checkout, there was confusion regarding a gift card. I was told there was no way to see the balance because the system changed. Since I had never used the card before, she requested that a manager verify the balance. She could not get her boss on the phone so said she would trust me. At that point, I chose to leave. This service may be enjoyable for some people, but it was not the right experience for me. Based on my experience, I would not return. By the way I didn't get a head message or neck massage. I saw others getting pampered. Unbelievable!!!

I have been going to Jennifer for a year now, and my experience with her has been AMAZING. It all…read morestarted when I was looking for a chiropractor for my husband and a facial specialist for myself. While searching for a spa, I came across Health by Design Family Spa clicked on their page, and saw micro-needling, which I had been interested in trying but wanted to avoid problems I have seen with it. Jennifer's reviews and the warm atmosphere of her practice looked very inviting(just by the website), so I decided to make an appointment. On the day of my facial appointment, I expressed my concerns to the aesthetician. I mentioned that I was feeling quite nervous about the treatment, as I'm not very fond of makeup, I only wear it for gatherings and church. I've also seen some interesting results from micro-needling. I asked if she could walk me through the facial step by step, show me the needles, and explain what was happening during it. Let me tell you! Jennifer is incredibly knowledgeable about skincare and what she did for my face. I have never met an esthetician with so much expertise and such a calming, spiritual demeanor. I felt amazing afterward. She did this treatment a week before my Italy trip, and my skin felt fantastic in the days following the appointment no burning or irritation at all. Italy my face felt amazing the whole time I was there. THIS IS WHY I WILL ONLY LET HER TOUCH MY FACE!!! After returning from my trip a few months later, I reached out to her because I had been so busy. I mentioned that my skin was dry, dull, and in need of hydration. We decided to try the OxyGeneo 3-in-1 Facial, and both of us could see a significant improvement, my skin had a beautiful glow (before and after photos showed such a huge difference after my facial that day). We do this facial once a month, and in the weeks in between, we have Hydrating Facials and Skin Resurfacing treatments. I've also had a back facial, which I highly recommend! I am overall very happy with my results. When I go in with my concerns for the week and feel unsure about what to do, she assesses my face and tells me exactly what I need and why. Understanding the reasoning behind her recommendations is very important to me, and she communicates this knowledge extremely well. I often brag about her, and people frequently ask what products I use. Even my husband has noticed the difference and now asks me not to wear makeup when we go out in the evenings. I am truly thankful to have found this beautiful spa and the wonderful atmosphere that comes with it.
