I'm the last person I'd expect to say that... I figure I have to make this review glow as much as my face was leaving this heavenly place. So, I recorded myself right after i paused and sat up on the bed... and I'm serious about this review coz people need to know a piece of heaven landed here on earth... I just finished my first facial at Hiatus Spa, and honestly, I don't know if I can fully explain the experience. I've had cupping and acupuncture, and while I've never had a full-body massage, this facial was something entirely different. It was an experience. Honestly, it felt spiritual. The temperatures, the pressure, the scents, the lighting, and the cadence of the entire process, from the way the products were applied to how they were massaged into my skin, all worked together in a way that is difficult to put into words. At some point, I felt like I had become part of the bed. The timing of everything was incredible. The transitions from warm to cool, the changing pressure, the direction of the movements across my face, the steam cascading over me, the coolness and textures of the products, and the heat of the towels all created this almost otherworldly experience. "Spiritual" is honestly the best word I have for it. To give you an idea of just how deeply relaxed I became, I felt like my soul had gone somewhere else. Like I had left this world and entered an incredibly quiet peaceful plane of existence. I had found well... me. My soul? I dunno... I only realized the facial was over when I heard Hanna's voice coming from what seemed like a great distance. People, she was standing right at the top of my head. That's how far gone I was. I didn't want to come back to Earth, but unfortunately, I had to. And, oh! The esthetician... Hanna... I told her she has to insure those hands of hers and keep them protected at all times... oven mitts maybe? I dunno but I do know some kinda magic issues through those fingers. What she did is an high art. She's a guru on the mountain, grand master, samurai sort... Thinking of one point of wonder... as she massages and transitions she has to stop somewhere... when she stops and pulls away at near my temples it was like she was pulling away everything bad from my being... I am not exaggerating... just, just believe me... Hanna, remember that name! And here's the other part... for the next few days, multiple people literally told me that my face was glowing. I can confirm that my face really was glowing, but honestly, I think at least part of that glow was coming from my very happy soul. I am convinced that if we want world peace open up a hiatus in every country. If you want your employees at their best and ready to go, forget wellness centers... if you want peace in your house... Listen to me people... send them to hiatus. I have paid thousands for vacations and there are nowhere near the value I got from one hour at hiatus. I wish i got all my vacation money refunded and replaced with as much as I can get out of hiatus. 1000% serious about this. The price is right. This needs to be routine! I got more from hiatus than any doctor visit or medicine... this is went right to my soul. An absolutely unforgettable experience. They get it right! "Relax. Refresh. Repeat" = THE TRUTH... Everyone needs a hiatus...

They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible!
