In the message i'm being accused of theft of service and that if I do not rectify , legal action will be taken against me. Mind you my wife booked my appointment and I tipped after my service. Come to find out that whoever took my wife's call failed to capture her CC info. Instead of calling my wife or myself asking for a better card number . I was accused of theft of service and threatened with legal action. As someone who works in sales and deals with clients from low to high net worth there is a way to approach situations without being aggressive or offensive . I have never been treated as a criminal or threatened for theft of anything. Ally Dat or whatever her name is needs some series retraining and coaching on customer communication. The lack of professionalism has me awestruck and with the number of massage places in the area I definitely recommend exploring other options before being accused of theft due to employee neglect.

I've been coming here several times a year for years because they consistently do a great job…read moreworking out tight muscles. Generally, I'm a fan, but unfortunately, they've recently changed their checkout process, and the suggested tips now start at 30%, 35%, and 40%. On both of my last two visits, my massage therapist stood over the payment screen while I selected a tip, which made it feel uncomfortable to choose a custom amount. It left me feeling pressured more than the relaxed state I would have hoped to leave with after a 90 min massage. Otherwise, it's a relaxing environment. There's a shared foot massage area separated by privacy curtains and private rooms for full-body massages. They're consistently good at deep tissue work, and while each therapist's technique varies a bit, I haven't had a bad massage yet. One other call-out though: on my most recent visit, a cooling menthol-type product was applied at the end of a deep tissue massage without warning first. I'd appreciate being asked before medicated or strongly cooling products are used because it stung and made me cold the rest of the service. All in, not my favorite experience out of many massages there. Note (to self and) for future customers: bring cash if you plan to tip. They seem to prefer it anyway, and it avoids the awkward checkout process.

Much to my dismay, I ended up getting a full body massage basically. You would think that was a good thing, but the "masseuse" had no idea what she was doing. The worst part was she didn't speak any English, so it was very hard to communicate what areas to work on and the amount of pressure to use. Most of the time she was hurting me from bending my arms and legs too far back. Not exactly what I was looking for. Initially I asked for an hour massage, but thankfully it ended around the 50 minute mark. Not sure I could have handled much more anyway. I have been to other establishments such as these on the west coast, but they were much different. I think I will stick with the nicer spa like massages in these parts. Sorry, but I won't be back.

I am not paid... this is my genuine experience and I took days to think about what I was going to…read moresay coz I was quite frankly happily shocked that facials is a thing... It's for everyone. I'm the last person I'd expect to say that... I figure I have to make this review glow as much as my face was leaving this heavenly place. So, I recorded myself right after i paused and sat up on the bed... and I'm serious about this review coz people need to know a piece of heaven landed here on earth... I just finished my first facial at Hiatus Spa, and honestly, I don't know if I can fully explain the experience. I've had cupping and acupuncture, and while I've never had a full-body massage, this facial was something entirely different. It was an experience. Honestly, it felt spiritual. The temperatures, the pressure, the scents, the lighting, and the cadence of the entire process, from the way the products were applied to how they were massaged into my skin, all worked together in a way that is difficult to put into words. At some point, I felt like I had become part of the bed. The timing of everything was incredible. The transitions from warm to cool, the changing pressure, the direction of the movements across my face, the steam cascading over me, the coolness and textures of the products, and the heat of the towels all created this almost otherworldly experience. "Spiritual" is honestly the best word I have for it. To give you an idea of just how deeply relaxed I became, I felt like my soul had gone somewhere else. Like I had left this world and entered an incredibly quiet peaceful plane of existence. I had found well... me. My soul? I dunno... I only realized the facial was over when I heard Hanna's voice coming from what seemed like a great distance. People, she was standing right at the top of my head. That's how far gone I was. I didn't want to come back to Earth, but unfortunately, I had to. And, oh! The esthetician... Hanna... I told her she has to insure those hands of hers and keep them protected at all times... oven mitts maybe? I dunno but I do know some kinda magic issues through those fingers. What she did is an high art. She's a guru on the mountain, grand master, samurai sort... Thinking of one point of wonder... as she massages and transitions she has to stop somewhere... when she stops and pulls away at near my temples it was like she was pulling away everything bad from my being... I am not exaggerating... just, just believe me... Hanna, remember that name! And here's the other part... for the next few days, multiple people literally told me that my face was glowing. I can confirm that my face really was glowing, but honestly, I think at least part of that glow was coming from my very happy soul. I am convinced that if we want world peace open up a hiatus in every country. If you want your employees at their best and ready to go, forget wellness centers... if you want peace in your house... Listen to me people... send them to hiatus. I have paid thousands for vacations and there are nowhere near the value I got from one hour at hiatus. I wish i got all my vacation money refunded and replaced with as much as I can get out of hiatus. 1000% serious about this. The price is right. This needs to be routine! I got more from hiatus than any doctor visit or medicine... this is went right to my soul. An absolutely unforgettable experience. They get it right! "Relax. Refresh. Repeat" = THE TRUTH... Everyone needs a hiatus...
