I believe it was her first day, she was very professional and knowledgeable, even offering me a sample of locally sourced kombucha, which I highly recommend trying. Another staff member Chad, who was very personable greeted me initially. I thought he was the owner he was super knowledgeable. He patiently answered all my questions about the available packages, ensuring I was well educated and was able to get a package that fit my needs being I live so far. I did the cryotherapy session on the highest level for 3-minutes and 30-second. While it was intense it's absolutely bearable, the feeling afterward was well worth it. After that I experienced the compression therapy, which I highly recommend for anyone with a desk job or who sits for extended periods it felt sooo good. The spa itself is immaculate and beautifully designed, it was clean which enhanced the overall experience. Given the quality of treatments and the professionalism of the staff, investing in a monthly package is a wise choice for those living nearby. Even though I live farther away I will absolutely be returning soon.

I booked her the bridal package, and I did the Hama session and a massage - both were incredibly relaxing and left me feeling refreshed. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, and the staff made the whole experience feel really special. It was the perfect way to slow down. I wanted to see if DFW had a place that was adjacent to my out of town services. The facial was just ok, but the body scrub performed by Preeti was underwhelmingly done. There was no consultation about allergies or sensitivities, no hair covering offered, and the exfoliation was incomplete. The service felt rushed and I left feeling unclean rather than refreshed. She kept offering me a massage due to a cancellation that I said no multiple times. I didn't show my displeasure by being rude being I'm urging this new zen thing. I just noted subpar services are an overstated norm in North Texas. Also, it was stated if you have a service the steam sauna is complimentary it is not. I was not asked how my services went at check out and even though I called prior to 24hrs for initial appointment I was charged $30. Because of the experience, I called the spa the I Monday Feb 23 to cancel my membership/appointment and spoke with Ishma. She stated Preeti never received this feedback and I could come back. I declined due to lackof accountability and my time being completely wasted in this experience. The cancellation was agreed upon and she stated it would be done Tuesday since they are closed Monday. I followed up again the next day (Tuesday) because it had not been processed yet being I did not receive a confirmation text. After calling again, I received confirmation by text that my membership/appointment has been canceled. Despite canceling and receiving confirmation, my card was still charged fraudulently on March 6. That charge was not authorized, and I ultimately had to cancel my debit card because of it. At this point, the issue is no longer just about service quality but about billing practices, respect for a customer's time, and cancellation request. For those reasons, I cannot recommend this business and will continue my services where integrity, attention to detail, & quality of service are the norm.

Note: Spa Castle states they don't provide sauna uniforms, but they do provide robes made of a thin canvas which is essentially the same thing. Everyone wears robes around the facility, not clothing, for the most part. That's standard for a Korean bathhouse. Great: The facilities are large and really pretty with a huge variety of pools, saunas, and lounging areas, and calming music. There's a gym too but it requires sneakers. There's a large outdoor pool area. Spa Castle is friendly to those who don't want to be nude in the locker areas as you can wear the robes everywhere. Every major lounging area had a water cooler available. They also have nice details like a swimsuit dryer and shelving outside the saunas to hold your water bottle, drink, etc. Needs improvement: There is caulk floating all over the pools, and it's coming off the benches inside the hot tubs. I would rather not have caulk inside my private parts. Tickets are pricey, and don't include any traditional spa services (massage, scrub, nails etc) which are an additional fee. At least one area was still closed, and not all pool buttons (water jets) worked. Despite the pricey ticket, not everything is in good repair. I had some issues with service. Be prepared to give your phone number upon buying tickets. I didn't want to, they insisted. Definitely started my visit on a sour note. Then, I was not allowed to leave the building to get my water bottle which I forgot in my car. I had to make a fuss before I was allowed to retrieve my water bottle. What the heck? I don't understand why the web tickets are not redeemable for 24 hours after purchase. That makes no sense. They don't offer shaved ice for sale anymore, but the shaved ice pictures are still up. I wish they would correct these details. Unfortunately, I won't be back for a while.
