4/5 - Great First Experience With One Important Concern This was my first time visiting Spa Castle, and I'm happy to say they did not disappoint. There are multiple pools and saunas, each with different temperatures and benefits to explore. Whether you want to detox, relax, or simply enjoy the water, there's plenty to choose from. You can also book add-on services like massages or scrubs for a more personalized experience. There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, and while children are allowed, we thankfully didn't have many around us during our visit, so it still felt peaceful and serene. The locker room and bathhouse areas are fully nude, which is something I chose not to experience due to personal preference. However, one thing I did feel strongly about as a parent of girls was the fact that children are also allowed to walk around nude in these areas. While I understand this is part of the cultural setup for some spas, I believe Spa Castle should consider a policy that prohibits nudity for minors. Unfortunately, pedophiles don't have a "look," and some parents can be completely unaware of their surroundings. For the sake of child safety, I'd strongly recommend the spa reevaluate this policy and put something in place to protect the kids. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and can't wait to return to see what the upcoming renovations look like. This place has a ton of potential and offers a unique, refreshing escape from the day-to-day.

Alright listen - my friends and I had a GREAT time at spa castle lol. First and foremost I knocked of a star bc compared to traditional jjimjilbangs (Korean bathhouses), this place is expensive. It's like $65 just to get in, then you pay for food and drinks and certain extra amenities... but nevertheless!! I think it was worth it because of all the fun. The salt and sauna rooms are really cool, you definitely feel a sense of relaxation. The cold room is fun too, after all the sweating. The pools are fairly clean and well kept and the locker room, while busy, is well run. The gym was also nice, and I appreciated the access since I was just visiting a friend in Carrollton so it gave me access to a workout! My friends and I also went for a pedicure at the little spa which costs extra, I think it was like $30 for a short massage and the pedi? We really enjoyed it tho! Just note it was 3 of us, and they only have 2 nail artists any given day, so you can only have 2 people getting their nails done at once. We just kinda went one after the other two and hung around each other while doing it. We did also get food here, we had some sushi and miso soup which was good and they charge it to your "tracker watch," so you pay for everything when you leave. I also got a piña colada type cocktail at the pool which was charged to my tracker and I think it was like $10 but it was a good size and decently strong! Overall: my friends and I REALLY liked this place. We felt relaxed and had a great time -- I would def come back again in the near future!

Spa Castle is somewhere I've been before for a cheaper price. For a day pass it was about 84$ after tax. Unfortunately, a lot of the jets weren't working, the pools were all warm (ironic if you are trying to get away from the heat of Texas or the sauna) and the customer service was not the best. The lady in the bathroom kept calling us "LADY" to get our attention and was very rude. We had just walked in and she asked us for our robe size. There was just a better way to ask and I'm usually okay with it happening once but there was 4 of us and then another two that walked in 10 min later that felt the same way. They have no phone policy in the locker room which I understand but then on our way out there was a lady who worked there that was on her phone in a full blown conversation. I think the treatment could have been better as well as pricing because of all the renovation and issues with all the jets for the pools. We did get a voucher to come back once renovations are done and if I come back then I will update.

Beautiful staycation since we live in Dallas. We wanted to enjoy, relax and experience a unique spa. The beauty of the tub/ shower was unmatched to anything I have seen or experienced. This basic hotel room was a great hotel room. Such a great idea for a long relaxing day. Highly recommended to try once and experience the hotel.

Definitely can't wait to go back. We have free passes that they gave us on our first visit. Let me tell you this was definitely needed. We are new parents in was looking for a little bit of luxury without having to pay too much. You guys just have to experience it for yourself. It was really nice. Definitely can't wait to go back. I will be getting a Korean body scrub And can't wait to try their restaurant on the third floor because when me and my husband went, it was not open so I ended up getting sushi from the sushi bar, which was actually really well. My husband got food from the bar downstairs nearest to the pool. They also had really good food and the drinks were definitely good as well. Can't wait to come back.

Loved the experience. The staff were friendly and inviting. This is my first time visiting a spa so I was shocked at all of the different services they provided. The hot tubs were my favorite! The place was very pleasing and aesthetic, and their choice of food was good. I'm definitely coming back here!

My friends and I had the best time! It was very relaxing, our food was delicious that we had from the sushi bar that was on the same floor as the saunas. We also enjoyed a smoothie was pretty good. The staff at the smoothie bar wasn't very pleasant but we didn't let that interrupt our day. All of the areas were clean, I really have no complaints. I left feeling revitalized and relaxed. I will definitely be back.

I came here yesterday to treat myself with a day of relaxation for my birthday and I really enjoyed my time at Spa Castle! Spa Castle provides a very unique spa experience of a variety of hot tubs, water jet pools, and saunas. They also provide spa services including a nail salon, facials, and massages. Yesterday being a Monday at 2pm, I was surprised by how many people were there, but then I remembered that it was probably due to it being Spring Break. I was also surprised by how many kids were there. It wasn't so many to the point of being a nuisance. I just assumed that this would be the type of place that would attract more adults, however they do have a kid's pool so they definitely accommodate kids which is great. I was impressed with how clean this place was. They also have a bar, a sushi restaurant, a coffee/juice/smoothie bar, and ice cream desserts. Seriously, whatever floats your boat, you can have here. I received great service everywhere, except when I wanted to purchase a bottled water at the smoothie/juice bar. I waited around for a while before being acknowledged and the lady that eventually assisted me wasn't friendly. Aside from her, the rest of my experience was great. The jets in the blue pool outside need to be looked at because the water from those jets for the targeted sections was waaaay too intense. It was even comical when everyone there would start the jets and then immediately wade or swim away to avoid getting hammered with water. Coming here yesterday was about as busy as I'd like to find here. I have no doubt that during the summer, this place gets BANANAS! I definitely plan to come back and this place makes for a fun activity to experience with friends and family. Just note that this place ain't cheap. It costs $50 to get in and then everything inside costs additional money.

Spa Castle wasn't bad for the price you pay. A lot of the jets in the pools weren't working. I did like the red light therapy and all of the sauna options. I am concerned on the sanitation because there are so many people that come in and out and you have to walk barefoot. I say go and at least experience it one time.

Last visit was back in 2022. I had a blast. I thought that king spa was better but from my last visit spa castle reigns by far. I have to confirm with a new visit soon! It is so clean and modern and sleek and love the outdoor pool area that's gonna be great during summer. Keep doing what you're doing!

This has officially been added to my quarterly self care spots. The entire experience was a 10/10. When you first wish you are immediately greeted and given detailed infirmary on the entire experience which was very helpful for my first time! It is does contain multiple pools so you may smell chlorine upon entrance! There is entrance fee that you have to pay to enter! I was able to shower before my marshes and lock away my items in two free lockers! Suggestion being your own big towel preheated there is a small fee! I got the aroma oil massage which is now my new favorite!!! The massage area and bathhouse area are super clean and unshaken especially the spa area. Im in love!

Ask the Community - Spa Castle

I've been on hold over and over again over two hours total and they won't answer at the spa or the hotel. Does anyone know if they allow walk ins to the pools? I've emailed as well. Very poor customer service

Walk in? Just showing up and paying entry instead of pre-paying online? Yes, definitely.

    It's a hotel?

They have hotel rooms, but you're not required to stay in one to visit the spa

Are biological men allowed in women's changing/shower areas?

    No.

Do they still have deals / discounted entry that you can purchase through Hmart or other places?

I've seen a Groupon as recently as 3/20/24

Does anyone know how to get in contact with them besides the email and phone number they have up, I've called and email to reschedule and I have yet to receive an answer from them?

Reschedule what? You can go in whenever you want, as long as they're open. And they are not good about calling people back, like many businesses.

What men lotion did they used to provide?

Are you still required to bring your own clothes and towels?

Yes we had to go to Walmart cause we didn't

Do they actually enforce the 3 drink limit? I've been to king spa and they have a sign that says the same thing but don't enforce it

They did for me. They give you a wristband and they scan it every time you purchase a drink. Once I hit my third, they told me that was it.

Hello, I need to book reservations for 6 people's please?

Depending on the services you want (say body scrub) there may not be 6 appts at the same time. When I tried to schedule for 3 people, there were only 2 ladies working that day, so we could only get 2 at the same time, one person had to either go… Read more

What is the hottest dry sauna type room? Anything compared to the volcano room at king spa?

No nothing even close to the fire sudatorium at king spa! The bulgama at spa castle is the hottest they have but does not come close to king spa sudatorium.

I'm wanting to take my girlfriend here for our 6th anniversary? Are the prices reasonable or do they offer packages?

My roommate and I went, used a Groupon to get in, and then our total with a 90 minute massage, two drinks each, and sushi, was near around 400. Excluding the groupon entry.… Read more

How much is it to rent a swimsuit?

They don't have swimsuits. You bring your own swimsuit! The provide shorts and a shirt to wear over swimsuit when walking through the building because some areas do not allow wet swimsuits

Are they open on thanksgiving nov 22?

Sorry for the delay. Yes they are. Normal hours. Here's there number - 972-446-6800

Is this a good place to go by yourself?

Absolutely! No better way to relax than with yourself!

Are there common nude areas for mixed genders or is everything separated by male/female?

There are common nude areas but they are gender specific. Men stay with the men and the women with the women.

How's the food? Best things to get other than the shaved ice?

Personally, if you're in this area, I wouldn't get food at Spa Castle! I'd get desserts at Cocohodo or T swirl crepe. You can get Korean bbq at Gin or Plenty of other places. The Korean hot wings are good too. Lots of food places across the street… Read more

Are all amenities open 24 hours (locker rooms, pools)? I would like to go late.. like after 10pm.

No. Not all amenities are 24 hours. I would call them for details.

So do they ever answer their phones or is the wrong number posted?

    972-446-6800 Try this number.

Can I bring children with me? And are they free?

Yes, children are allowed in all areas, with pricing (taken from the website) shown below. They have a small area specifically for children, but it was down the last time I went in February 2018.… Read more

I don't mind the naked people...but I do mind sitting on furniture that other naked people have sat on. Can I have some clarification for this? How much furniture that naked people have sat on do I have to sit on? :P

In the common area, everyone is clothed! People are only completely naked in the bath and locker areas where there isn't much furniture.

Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. I told her I booked an appointment on class pass for a certain time and they approved it. She said that she didn't speak English and couldn't help me and that I should contact my massage therapist. But it was my first time here and the only number on class pass is the one for the shop. She told me to call the store number so someone can help me, so I did and it started ringing next to her so she just shrugged and said "oh well my boss isn't here I can't help you because I'm busy." Thankfully there was another customer that spoke the same language as her and he helped me translate so she told me to wait half an hour for someone to come. I agreed since I already took an uber to get here and booked this time out of my day. I waited in the lobby and the same front desk lady came and got me 30 minutes almost an hour after my original appointment time. And just said oh yea sorry I'll be doing your massage. I was confused but needed one so badly due to my intense job I just agreed and followed her. She was on the phone the whole time with someone arguing .The massage room was not a relaxing experience there was no music playing it was really awkward. I'm used to having some music at least. The therapist was texting while giving my massage! I told her I booked the oil and hot stones and she pretended not to understand and I didn't receive the hot stones at all. At the end she only massaged me for 40 minutes maybe less because every time someone would ring the bell at the front desk she had to stop my massage completely and help them. I understand being understaffed but that was very unprofessional why accept appointments ? When she left the room each time the door was wide open with me being in the room exposed. I left feeling super uncomfortable and wanted to cry. Then she has the nerve to say in perfect English don't forget to tip me. I highly do not recommend this place. I will never be back here..I wish I could get my money back.

This place is a bit hard to find, especially if you aren't from the area like we are. But, if you go past Ranch 99, this facility is located right next door to the Wei Asian Buffet. It's located on the second floor, so just be prepared to walk up some steps (I didn't see any elevator nearby). We were immediately greeted by two ladies at the front desk. We showed them the Yelp deal, which is 15% off for new customers, which they gladly upheld (thanks Yelp!). They were very helpful and knowledgeable of the different massages they offer. We were their only clients at the time that we went, so we got a little extra TLC during our visit (they actually let us stay in the sauna for however long we wanted). The facility itself is very neat, well kept, and well decorated. The lights were slightly dimmed to give that extra relaxation feeling. The saunas are also well kept as well. We both received the 60 minute Swedish massage with hot stones and knees on our backs (we opted out on back walking). The massage was VERY relaxing! I do, however, wish that more time was spent massaging my legs, but I believe that you would have to pay for a foot/leg massage for that. A little disclaimer, for those who don't like deep tissue or heavy/medium pressured massages, let your masseuse know before hand or even during the massage. Before they got started, they let us know to tell them if the massage is hurting you (even if you are actively having the massage). At the end of our massages, they gave us two bottles of water, which is customary of massage places to do. We followed our massage with 30 minutes in their sauna for the ultimate relaxation experience. We were then given two more water bottles and snacks at the front desk, while we paid for our massages. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing experience at AA Massage. The staff provide a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment and give great massages! I'd like to stop by here again whenever I'm back in the area.

When I went to go pay I was planning on using my card. They didn't tell me that their WiFi is down and couldn't take card payments. They never mentioned it upon checking in. So their options were send it through Zelle or they can write down my credit card information and charge me later. Both options were shady but I ended up sending the Zelle because I didn't need any issues for payment. I requested to speak to the owner before sending my Zelle to make sure I sent it to the right place. Most likely will not be returning after that interaction

Their 30+30 min combo for back and feet is fabulous. Feet massage included 15min of soaking in warm water. Rest min is massage. One thing i must include, the tipping issue in most of the massage places. I don't know how much tipping they expect. but if they don't like the tipping amount , either they complain or coerce verbally or just behave ridiculously. Yesterday after the massage, i included the tip with the bill. The lady printed it out, checked it and showed back the receipt to me As she doesn't speak English, i assumed she reconfirming the amount. I confirmed. Possibly she dint like it. When i said thanks and good night twice, she dint even look at me, ignored completely and was writing down something while nodding her head. I found it pretty offensive. Tip is something i will pay voluntarily over the price. I can be forced to pay the price, not the tip. And in no way customers can get strange behavior for tipping. In that case mention it on your price list. That's the reason I marked it 4star.
