After a long absence, I visited Spa Castle because they reopened following their closure for renovations. Note: Spa Castle states they don't provide sauna uniforms, but they do provide robes made of a thin canvas which is essentially the same thing. Everyone wears robes around the facility, not clothing, for the most part. That's standard for a Korean bathhouse. Great: The facilities are large and really pretty with a huge variety of pools, saunas, and lounging areas, and calming music. There's a gym too but it requires sneakers. There's a large outdoor pool area. Spa Castle is friendly to those who don't want to be nude in the locker areas as you can wear the robes everywhere. Every major lounging area had a water cooler available. They also have nice details like a swimsuit dryer and shelving outside the saunas to hold your water bottle, drink, etc. Needs improvement: There is caulk floating all over the pools, and it's coming off the benches inside the hot tubs. I would rather not have caulk inside my private parts. Tickets are pricey, and don't include any traditional spa services (massage, scrub, nails etc) which are an additional fee. At least one area was still closed, and not all pool buttons (water jets) worked. Despite the pricey ticket, not everything is in good repair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had some issues with service. Be prepared to give your phone number upon buying tickets. I didn't want to, they insisted. Definitely started my visit on a sour note.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then, I was not allowed to leave the building to get my water bottle which I forgot in my car. I had to make a fuss before I was allowed to retrieve my water bottle. Their rates have gone up and are expected to increase again. $75 for the "soft opening" compared to $50 previously. To start, if you're gonna charge higher fees, I expect for everything to work. Instead, the experience felt more like stepping into a time capsule that hasn't been dusted off in decades. Instead of sparkling waters, we encountered unsettling residue floating on the surface--definitely not the serene oasis we were hoping for. And those rusty fixtures? Still hanging around, as if they've become permanent residents of Castle Spa. Navigating the locker room was another challenge. With multiple guests fumbling around, trying to figure out where to stash their clothes. Some were not given clear guidelines and tried to put all their clothes in the shoe locker. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, little note about the bathhouse being a "nude only" zone would have gone a long way in avoiding some awkward moments![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, let's talk about the high-pressure water jets. Watching fellow guests flip the switch only to be met with an intense spray that left them with welts was both tragic and oddly entertaining. I couldn't help but chuckle at the expressions of shock and bewilderment as they tried to escape the unexpected onslaught. In summary, while Castle Spa may have had a hefty budget for renovations, the execution seems to have fallen short. With lingering cleanliness issues, a lackluster experience, and some rather painful moments in the water, it's hard to recommend this spa experience. There are multiple pools and saunas, each with different temperatures and benefits to explore. Whether you want to detox, relax, or simply enjoy the water, there's plenty to choose from. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can also book add-on services like massages or scrubs for a more personalized experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, and while children are allowed, we thankfully didn't have many around us during our visit, so it still felt peaceful and serene. The locker room and bathhouse areas are fully nude, which is something I chose not to experience due to personal preference. However, one thing I did feel strongly about as a parent of girls was the fact that children are also allowed to walk around nude in these areas. While I understand this is part of the cultural setup for some spas, I believe Spa Castle should consider a policy that prohibits nudity for minors. Unfortunately, pedophiles don't have a "look," and some parents can be completely unaware of their surroundings. For the sake of child safety, I'd strongly recommend the spa reevaluate this policy and put something in place to protect the kids. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and can't wait to return to see what the upcoming renovations look like. Alright listen - my friends and I had a GREAT time at spa castle lol. First and foremost I knocked of a star bc compared to traditional jjimjilbangs (Korean bathhouses), this place is expensive. It's like $65 just to get in, then you pay for food and drinks and certain extra amenities... but nevertheless!! I think it was worth it because of all the fun. The salt and sauna rooms are really cool, you definitely feel a sense of relaxation. The cold room is fun too, after all the sweating. The pools are fairly clean and well kept and the locker room, while busy, is well run. The gym was also nice, and I appreciated the access since I was just visiting a friend in Carrollton so it gave me access to a workout! My friends and I also went for a pedicure at the little spa which costs extra, I think it was like $30 for a short massage and the pedi? We really enjoyed it tho! Just note it was 3 of us, and they only have 2 nail artists any given day, so you can only have 2 people getting their nails done at once. We just kinda went one after the other two and hung around each other while doing it. We did also get food here, we had some sushi and miso soup which was good and they charge it to your "tracker watch," so you pay for everything when you leave. I also got a piña colada type cocktail at the pool which was charged to my tracker and I think it was like $10 but it was a good size and decently strong! Spa Castle is somewhere I've been before for a cheaper price. For a day pass it was about 84$ after tax. Unfortunately, a lot of the jets weren't working, the pools were all warm (ironic if you are trying to get away from the heat of Texas or the sauna) and the customer service was not the best. There was just a better way to ask and I'm usually okay with it happening once but there was 4 of us and then another two that walked in 10 min later that felt the same way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have no phone policy in the locker room which I understand but then on our way out there was a lady who worked there that was on her phone in a full blown conversation. I think the treatment could have been better as well as pricing because of all the renovation and issues with all the jets for the pools. This was my first time here and I brought my boyfriend with me. Then we decided to go to the pool. The pools are very painful. The jets are extremely hard. I couldn't use any of them and neither could anyone else. The lounges just pushed and bubbled up over you. The jets for your back and shoulder were coming out so hard, it was dangerous. The drinks were really strong and not in a good way. They were gross. The pools all have this gross plastic floating in them, and we figured out it was the caulking coming loose. That plastic caulk got all over us. Then we went into the pools that are in our different locker rooms. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Again, no one told me I could just not wear clothes in there. That would have been nice to know.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then I took a shower and the water pressure was very hard yet again. You also have to press a button over and over again to shower. Which was a major pain. Afterwards, I did not feel relaxed. I felt sick. I was so dehydrated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There needs to be more staff telling people how the whole thing works.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pools need a major tune up and less chlorine. They were really chlorinated. I will never go back to this supposed to be spa ever again. It was far from relaxing. I came here yesterday to treat myself with a day of relaxation for my birthday and I really enjoyed my time at Spa Castle! Spa Castle provides a very unique spa experience of a variety of hot tubs, water jet pools, and saunas. They also provide spa services including a nail salon, facials, and massages. Yesterday being a Monday at 2pm, I was surprised by how many people were there, but then I remembered that it was probably due to it being Spring Break. I was also surprised by how many kids were there. It wasn't so many to the point of being a nuisance. I just assumed that this would be the type of place that would attract more adults, however they do have a kid's pool so they definitely accommodate kids which is great. I was impressed with how clean this place was. They also have a bar, a sushi restaurant, a coffee/juice/smoothie bar, and ice cream desserts. Seriously, whatever floats your boat, you can have here. I received great service everywhere, except when I wanted to purchase a bottled water at the smoothie/juice bar. I waited around for a while before being acknowledged and the lady that eventually assisted me wasn't friendly. Aside from her, the rest of my experience was great. The jets in the blue pool outside need to be looked at because the water from those jets for the targeted sections was waaaay too intense. It was even comical when everyone there would start the jets and then immediately wade or swim away to avoid getting hammered with water. Coming here yesterday was about as busy as I'd like to find here. I have no doubt that during the summer, this place gets BANANAS! This has officially been added to my quarterly self care spots. The entire experience was a 10/10. When you first wish you are immediately greeted and given detailed infirmary on the entire experience which was very helpful for my first time! It is does contain multiple pools so you may smell chlorine upon entrance! There is entrance fee that you have to pay to enter! I was able to shower before my marshes and lock away my items in two free lockers! Suggestion being your own big towel preheated there is a small fee! Spa Castle wasn't bad for the price you pay. A lot of the jets in the pools weren't working. I did like the red light therapy and all of the sauna options. Moving to Fort Worth made me want to try these Korean spas I've been hearing about. Coming here I was amazed at what you can get for $50 on weekdays and $65 on weekends. As of May 2025 they raised their prices to $65 for weekday and $80 on the week ends. They have so many facilities to try from the saunas to light therapy to the different pools and spas inside/ outside and even in the gender based bath house. They keep it very clean and quiet. First floor bar and spas as well as their changing room/ bath house. Second floor is the saunas, light therapy, optional messages and even hair/nail services. They do and food areas to buy from on all 3 floors. First floor is the bar so like fries and burgers, second is sushi and smoothies and the third floor has even more food! Water stations everywhere to stay hydrated. read more

However, my visit was overshadowed by an internal staff scheduling issue that left me waiting for hours without receiving the service I had booked nearly a month in advance and confirmed upon arrival. Despite multiple confirmations and check-ins upon arrival and thought the day, my 50 min Koren Body Scrub appointment was mysteriously canceled without explanation, and staff continued to tell me to wait rather than addressing the issue. Unfortunately, this meant I spent nearly my entire visit waiting instead of enjoying the full range of amenities. I did speak with a manager who didn't share their name and they could not explain what might have caused this. Nor did they offer apologies or compensation to reschedule for another day. While the physical space and amenities are excellent, my experience was disappointing due to poor communication, lack of ownership or responsibility and lack of accountability. If you're going just for the amenities, the facility itself is great, but I can't recommend booking locker room services based on my experience. read more

They also have these cool chairs under red lights... it was cool to experience. The outside pool was a vibe.... The kiddie pool wasn't on when we went so heads up. It was a very nice facility. They had AT LEAST 9 pools and 7 hot tubs on the premises ( I'm sure my count is LOW) The drinks are overpriced. I'm infuriated that I paid 8$ for a Shirley temple smh. Shame. Don't do that The food is delicious! They have sushi, ice cream, fried foods, smoothies, teas and coffee. A little of everything all throughout the facility. It is CLEAN & peaceful. Had a girls day here with my girl friends and had a really nice and relaxing time. I am taking stars off for some of the jets in the pool not working and the infrared lights turning off after 29 seconds. The OTHER reason is because of the staff. The woman that checked us is was not very welcoming. But the employee that ticked me off was the one running the smoothie place on the second floor. Not a smile would touch her face and she was quite rude. Playing on her phone and CLEARLY did not want to be there. We pay $86 to get into this place and then exuberant prices for food and drinks. Please treat your patrons like paying guests because we are. The ladies that give you towels and robes were really nice. However, the first towel I got had what looked to be blood on it. That towel was replaced without an issue. Another thing to consider is that one alcoholic beverage was $16.99 and you have a three drink minimum. Not a problem because you don't want trashed people there. Anyways, the drink was good but why such a ridiculous price tag?! I stuck with one. We really enjoyed the saunas (the pink Himalayan salt sauna was my FAVORITE) and pools but if you want anything extra, get ready to pay a stupid amount of money. read more

Although having the saunas, hot tubs, great food, and bathhouse was relaxing, the facility was not top notch as we expected. For the rising prices, things should be fixed. Buttons to activate individual jets on hot tubs didn't work, so you spent time looking for one that worked. Not just a few either. Many didn't work and some areas didn't have any that worked at all. Tiles were missing or falling off of hot tubs. Having owned a hot tub, I know this is a problem. But even we made sure our hot tub was running in top condition. I do want to say the sushi was delicious, colada's were great, and my husband enjoyed his nachos. I hate to have to leave reviews but today I and several other women were FILMED on a cell phone in the nude wet pool area, by another customer. Another woman and I went and immediately told the locker room attendant that the woman was filming us. The spa staff supposedly has a zero tolerance policy, but when I went to follow up they told me they let the lady continue to be in the spa. And that she was "so sorry" so they let her stay. To say I feel gross and violated is an understatement. And the handling of the situation on the part of the staff was so unprofessional and apathetic. My sister took me here for my 40th birthday. We spent between four and five hours thoroughlyand enjoyed ourselves. The only complaint I have is some of the jets were broken and I noticed peeling paint and a little bit of mold which was concerning. I wouldn't say it's rundown, but it definitely could use some upgrades. We enjoyed the Outdoor pool and each had a massage. This was the best massage I've ever had! After a recent experience in May 2025, I was very disappointed. The saunas are still good, but I'm sure they and the entire place need to be cleaned. Spa Castle, you should shut down for a week and do a deep cleaning. The build-up around those indoor baths is ridiculous. It looked like 80% of the buttons on the outdoor pool were broken. It is just terrible. It won't hurt you to shut down and come back 100%. This place used to be good; even the outside looks rough, and with the growth in that area of new houses/apartments, you should be on notice to make updates. The location will still be a go-to spot, but please take the time to do a major deep clean and get things working again. The price increased, and the experience decreased. I've been here several times, I prefer to go on a weekday... not a lot of people, it's also $10 cheaper weekday $50 vs $60 for weekends. They have a 'study area' on the top floor where you can charge your laptop and do work while there. I usually eat there as well, it's limited menu, but is okay since you're mainly there for the sauna. read more

love this concept but some flaws in the execution; *a facility with pools, hot tubs, & saunas should provide basic bath towels period; not just hand towels. Larger ones were available to use at an additional cost!?! *It's a spa but if you want a service like a massage or facial ( approximately $100 each) you also have to buy a day pass for an extra $50, whether or not you use the other facilities. *on women's side, in order to use the showers you have to enter through the nude only section (and be undressed) to get to the shower *it seemed a lot of equipment was out of order read more
