My husband and I came here for a regular 40 minute foot massage on a busy Saturday afternoon. We called ahead and made reservations. The place was packed; we were glad we called. We had mixed experiences so the stars reflect the average. The person working on me used a very light touch and overly worked the same few spots (like my calves). It was not much of a massage. I should have spoken up but you are so nestled with a blanket and towel over your eyes that it felt like a big production. My husband, however, said he had the best foot massage he's ever had. He was very happy with his experience. read more

I found this place a couple years back based on reviews for Zhang and she was absolutely amazing and worth the drive. I would always tip her big and she deserved it. I have not returned since Zhang left and I didn't have a reason to return. Fast forward to today and made an appointment with Frank based on another reviewers recommendation. I got a 90 min combo. The first 60 was feet and I'm pretty certain Frank was asleep. The remaining 30 was neck and back. I think Frank is capable maybe just a little lazy. I wish more post would suggest a person because a massage is only as good as who actually works on you. Anyway, was not worth the drive, money or time. read more

Jack is great! The massage is good for the price and walk-in is nice for spontaneous. The only thing is the music-- about 2 1/2 minute loop over and over/ time for an adjustment to that! I return to this place frequently- i enjoy their massage variety of combinations and pricing . Recently, i had a 50 minute because it was close to closing 9:00- but i missed my hand massage! Just had my 2nd foot massage at YIYI. Wow! Both times were absolutely incredible! My masseuse was a woman named Zhang. She is AMAZING! She's truly an artist in reflexology. She is strong, knowledgeable, kind and professional. I really can't imagine a better experience. My foot massage by Zhang was the best massage I've ever had, way better than some full body massages I've had in high end spas. I am a teacher so I stand a lot. My feet and legs hurt so much at the end of the week. Zhang was able to work her magic and take all the pain away. I believe she also reduced swelling and improved my circulation. What to expect for a foot massage: It's easy to get an appointment. You sit in a comfy lounge chair, wearing your regular, comfy clothes. You are in one big room (like a nail salon) but curtains give you a little privacy from the person next to you. The lights are dim and there is peaceful music playing. Everyone is quiet, communicating in whispers if needed. They drape towels over you and give you a small towel to cover your eyes. The place is clean and service is efficient. I felt totally comfortable and at ease. I am hooked and want to become a regular! I don't understand reflexology but I can really feel the difference it makes in easing my pain and relaxing my full body. Thanks, YIYI! I'll be back soon! read more

YiYi Foot Spa has become my new go to self care place! I've only done walk ins, but you can make a reservation too as some mornings it can fill up quickly. Each visit has been perfect, just being able to sit back and relax and get the care I want when it comes to a foot massage. The price point is great and I like to make it a VIP (think it's like $10 more) to get the rose petal treatment that feels nice on your feet before the massage starts. Love Yiyi!! It's my favorite neighborhood spot to unwind and get an amazing foot massage. The masseurs are amazing. It's very clean and super reasonably priced. I almost always doze off and complete relaxation. I've seen people bring bottles of wine in the past for BYOB. I usually get the hour-long massage for only $39 plus tip. They have comfortable reclining chairs and offer blankets and face coverings while getting a massage. Super relaxing spa music plays in the background to create a soothing atmosphere. The staff are all super friendly. Very clean and they have hand sanitizers at every massage chair and always take your temperature as you check in for your service. They will adjust the pressure to your liking and never use too much lotion. They use hot towels at the end to remove the massage lotion. I'm so thankful Yiyi is in my neighborhood and highly recommend this spot for the best reflexology in town! read more

I have frequented this establishment on numerous occasions and generally found the service to be satisfactory. However, my recent experience, during which my wife and I opted for a one-hour foot and leg massage, left much to be desired. Regrettably, the therapist assigned to me devoted the entire hour solely to massaging my feet, neglecting my legs entirely. While I initially refrained from expressing dissatisfaction, as the primary reason for choosing this service was leg massage, my disappointment grew. Upon settling the bill, the establishment's owner, a female, made an attempt to pressure me into leaving a tip. I politely conveyed that gratuities are at the discretion of the customer and that, given the services I had received, I believed the $90 charge to be more than reasonable. I'm not sure where people think they are entitled to a tip but this craziness has to stop! I will not be back to this location. read more

How I count the ways how much I love this place. I've had a lot of foot massages in my life, having lived in China and traveled throughout Asia. I live in Atlanta now, and this is my favorite place in Dallas (and Atlanta). The environment is clean, quaint, cozy, and comfortable. It has modest decorations that remind me of China, the reclining chairs are relaxing, the massages are excellent, and the staff are friendly and warm. (Not always the case at massage places.) My fiancée and I will drive from across town or plan to be around Lake Highlands just to get a massage at YIYI. They're a secret gem and I almost want to keep them for myself, but I can't. I want them to succeed. too much. read more

I had a headache today so I decide to check this place out to see if I could get some relief. It did the trick. A few things to note both positive and I wish were a little different. First, the person who performed my foot massage checked his temp and showed me the results and then checked mine and did the same. That made me feel safer. Everyone inside had on masks and social distances was observed. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and spent equal time on both feet/legs. The only downside is that they don't offer the 40/20 split for neck and back with the foot massage. But as a consolation he did offer to spend 10 minutes on my neck/back at the end of my massage. I appreciated that effort. For the price I would go back, but I would love if they offered a combo/split massage for those of us who have really tight necks. read more

History

Established in 2015.

Because reflexology is an ancient practice, its origin and history is difficult to track. However, reflexology is thought to have been passed down through an oral tradition, and possibly first recorded as a pictograph on the Egyptian tomb of Ankhamor infeet imprints 2330 BC along with other medical procedures. Reflexology symbols are also thought to be recorded on the feet of statues of Buddha in India and later China. The Chinese classic, the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, which was written around 1,000 BC, has a chapter on "Examining Foot Method" and is the beginning of discussions in print about the connection of life force and points and areas on the feet.

I'm still nervous and new to massages as a way of therapy. Not a great way to keep a customer. I won't be coming back. Too expensive to have someone treat me like garbage and also make me feel bad too. Would give zero stars if I could!!!

I recently had a massage at YIYI FOOT SPA, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped through the door, the entire experience made me feel comfortably relaxed. Firstly, the staff at YIYI FOOT SPA are incredibly friendly and professional. The gentleman at the front desk provided a warm greeting, and the massage therapist was highly skilled, understanding my needs perfectly. The massage techniques were truly impressive. They paid attention to detail, and the thoughtful hand movements completely immersed me in relaxation. I opted for a foot massage, and each knead and rub brought profound comfort, relieving the fatigue from my entire body. The ambiance at YIYI FOOT SPA is also very comfortable, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complements the massage experience. Overall, this massage at YIYI FOOT SPA provided me with an exceptional experience. I felt rejuvenated both physically and mentally. I highly recommend YIYI FOOT SPA, and I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

I didn't have an appointment, and the staff accommodated my husband and I quickly. It's dim, quiet and peaceful music playing in the distance. The lounge chair was comfortable and ergonomic for the service. I had reflexology for an hour. They start with the feet and legs are blended into the service. Be sure and tell attendant about pressure before service if you do not like deep pressure. They have strong hands. It was lovely and pricing wasn't going to break the bank. So, doing it again and again!! read more

I really enjoyed my massage session here. The therapist was attentive and checked in several times to make sure the pressure was comfortable. The space was cozy, with calming scents and soft background music. I felt all the tension leave my shoulders by the end. The only downside was a bit of noise from the hallway, but overall, it was a great experience. read more

Absolutely the best foot massage ever! The experience was incredibly relaxing, and the customer service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. The spa itself was spotlessly clean and had a peaceful, calming atmosphere. I left feeling completely refreshed and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

They are responsible masseur, they seriously your feet, do a good job every pressure point. First came YIYI I would like to try. I chose the 40 minutes, they are quiet, I feel this is the best 40 minutes I've ever done. This is a great place, and I'll be back the next time I want to bring my mother. read more

Disappointed...they only did foot massage, no back and shoulders like other places. The massage was so weak I felt it was a waste of my $ and time. read more

They had just cleaned and it smelled great! My technician was very firm and did an excellent job. Highly recommend for a pre holiday treat. I really wanted to like this place. Someone who gets massages weekly. I just moved to Richardson…read morefrom Houston. I would go to Cloud 9 every weekend in Houston for my self care massages. Since June I have been looking for a Massage place I can call home. I booked the night before for a full body massage. My appointment was at 10am and I arrived 15min before. Upon arrival the door was open and no one was at the front desk. I waited for a good 10min completed the intake form that was sitting on the counter and waited. Finally someone came to the front and questioned if I had an appointment. (I'm assuming because I booked the night before they didn't have a record of it? Idk). However, I showed the lady my booking confirmation on my phone and she proceeded to guide me to the room. The massage started off amazing, perfect pressure truly relaxing amazing massage. I was laying there thinking okay despite the arrival this will be my home. Then within the last 15-20 min of my massage some lady, assuming another therapist, barges in my room and starts talking in their native tongue to my therapist while she was massaging me. It wasn't a quiet quick question type of talk, it was loud abrasive and she talked to her the entire last 20 min of my massage. I truly could not believe what was going on. Then when my massage was over my therapist walked me to the front and told me because I'm paying with tap it was an additional $5. Okay whatever I didn't mind. The massage was $70 and the tap made it $75. Then she says "how much you adding for tip"? I looked at her and said "are you serious? When you and that other lady had a full on conversation the last 20 min of my massage? That was rude, inconsiderate, and definitely not professional. I'm paying $75." I really wanted to love this spot. It's not far from my house and the massage was great. But the customer service was horrible.
