A friend took me to Sole Therapy a few years ago, and I've been a regular ever since. It's not fancy, but the masseurs are indescribably amazing, and the price is great. I used to go in and mention what part of my neck/back is tight or whatev..now I know to just hush and let them do their thing, they know, they're pros. I have some shoulder pain that I've seen several doctors for, MRIs, X-rays, PRP shots, physical therapy... Sole therapy is the best treatment I've had, hands down. Just a tip, they ask soft, medium, or hard. Hard means hard..super deep tissue, its greatness. Jack is amazing. Anna is amazing. Lee is amazing. Best massages ever. I've been coming here for 15 years ( on and off). I stopped because I never can seem to communicate with the masseuse. Today the lady didn't understand "OUCH, that's really hard" I even started laughing and asked her to please stop using her elbows. It was painful for an hour straight. She didn't know what she was doing, I've had dark bruises all over my body for over a week. It's ridiculous that you can't get a relaxing massage. I even tipped her 30% because I felt bad that she's trying to do a good job. They need more training. I took pics of the bruises a week after. A big one near my neck has faded. read more

I always come to this place at least once a month and the massage was pretty good but today the masseur gave me the worst massage ever! first of all he add too much oil to my legs and my back and he just started to rub them slowly it felt like he wasn't even trying to massage but play around! If you want deep pressure, this is the place. Great prices, clean establishment, friendly staff. When I asked for a table massage, they said no but it was a low, full-body massage table instead. A gym rat like me appreciated the sports massage part. It's a shared space so you don't have total privacy but the room is dark with minimal noise. After you're towelled up from head to toe, it feels more private. My masseur started with firm pressure all over while I had a towel draped over me, then he moved on to oil and then hot stones on my back. The menu is deceiving because "back and foot" massage covers much, much more. My arms, neck, head, face, glutes, shoulders and legs received a lot of attention. The limbs stretching was a bonus. Having been here several more times, my opinion on this place has changed a bit. The quality issues are probably significant enough to keep me from coming back. It definitely varies a bit by person but ultimately it does not seem like there are really any standards here. Probably most of the massages here start with some really uncomfortable neck stuff. The chairs feel low quality and shaky, so I sort of have to apply some muscle pressure with my arms or legs to keep myself from moving around a lot as they are working on me. The face cradles are inexcusable; do the people who work here never get massages at their own place? There is minimal padding, so I can feel the hard sides in my cheeks, and an uncomfortable metal bar that sort of digs into my chin. They asked at the beginning if the height is good, but how is a late person supposed to know that? I feel like it is their job to know how to adjust the chair to the person sitting in it. And even when I do feel like the cradle is too low and try to tell them, there is a language gap that makes it difficult to get the point across. I appreciate a $1 per minute chair massage as much as the next guy but at a certain point it just stops being worth it. I would say about 45% of the massage is just okay, maybe 30% is good, and 25% is actually painful. And I just don't want to spend a quarter of my massage telling somebody that things hurt. When you have to do that it's probably time to find a new place, which sucks because this one is very convenient! read more

So this place came HIGHLY recommended and I will say i walked in without an appointment and was able to get the service I wanted without a wait. So here's my issue: I walked in and they weren't wearing masks but did put one on as I got closer to the counter. I asked for a service - the hour long foot massage - and the man up front acted like he didn't want me to get that service. He kept asking me about my arms and such and I kept telling him no, only my legs and feet. I was lead to an open area room where the man pointed for me to put my stuff and lay on the table. He once again asked "only feet" - yep as I get horrible cramps in my feet and legs I was treating myself. He puts a towel over my face, leaves and comes back with hot water for me to soak in. He casually states 12 min soak and he be back. Wait, so a 1/4 of my time is my feet in water? Yep, that's exactly what happened. Now don't get me wrong he worked out my legs, popped my toes (a little to hard cause they wouldn't pop at first) and he did this hip thing where I was like "I didn't even know that needed to be stretched like that" but my hour wasn't even an hour - I would say I got from my car to the back, laid and back to my car within an hour. However they have a sign that says they would prefer that you tip in cash versus on your credit card. I tipped this man 20% and he snatched the money from me and walked away speaking in another language to the guy at the counter. No thank you, come again or nothing. Granted this place has great deals, but I'm gonna take my business elsewhere where I feel like my business is appreciated and that I get the full time for the service I'm paying for. read more

I love that this massage place is open late and that they usually have availability. My massages have been good though I will say the only downside I've encountered is I do have a couple of sports injuries that cannot be moved or stretched certain ways but it is hard to correlate this to the massage therapist because of the language barrier. Also, there's not a private changing area so you are fairly exposed to both staff and other customers while trying to change. I'm considering next time I go to bring my own robe! Haha read more

Kept getting interrupted and would walk away, some other guy would come over having no idea what had already been done and just moved his hands around on my back. Very strong hands worked out my muscle knots and tension, along with stretching, hot stones and mild popping. Jason gave me the best massage and I will be dreaming of it for the weeks to come! I got the Combo D which is 40 mins full body and 20 minute foot massage. You start on your stomach and he massaged my left side and then the right. Do Not be alarmed if they lift up your shirt and pull down the top of your pants to reach your lower back. He then added oil and followed up with HOT STONES. I felt like a stick of butter melting away with every stroke!!! You then flip over and soak your feet in warm water while he massages your face/head, arms and hands. It is the BEST part! then he massages your feet and calves. Positively, absolutely, really un-stinkin-believable! I'll trade a pedicure ANY DAY for this treatment instead! $35 will get you one hour of absolute relaxation. And, trust me - you'll want to go to the bathroom before you get started! It all starts with 20 minutes of warm-water foot soaking (told you) while you're upper body (shoulders, arms, hands, head, face) get worked. Then, your feet - and not just the obligatory we-have-to-massage-you-but-we're-watching-the-timer pedicure style foot rub, I'm talking honest-to-goodness reflexology that makes your muscles melt (even the ones you didn't know where tense, or didn't even know you had!). Then comes the leg portion (wonerful) and some other rubbings that I don't remember becuase I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. At some point, the woman working on me must have asked me to roll over, because when I regained consciousness, I was face down and nearly drooling. Once you're back in the land of the living, you're escorted to the front for a cup of water and an official zoning out. As I've written this, I've officially decided to trade out every other pedicure with this experience instead. Surely hubby can paint my toenails just as well? :) Overall: best clothes-on (and late-night) massage you can get here in Dallas (unless you're married to a masseuse...but then it's probably not G-rated...). When I want a peaceful, relaxing massage, I go to the spa. When I want someone to work out the knots, spasms, or other kinks anywhere from my neck to my toes, I head here. They seem to prefer you have an appointment, and if you call ahead, they'll generally squeeze you in within thirty minutes. That said, they'll accommodate walk-in's, even if it seems like an inconvenience. It's $35/HR, which is so cheap I always do the 90 min combo (back and feet), and am tempted to ask for two back to back. I always wear dresses, and I regret it every time because they're throwing you around and lifting up your legs. While you're in a dimly lit room full of people also getting thrown around, you're generally covered in a blanket from neck to knees and massaged over it. It's quiet with peaceful Chinese flutes playing in the background, but I have been annoyed on occasion with the masseuses joking and laughing with each other during the massage, with less concern for the ambiance. That said, they expertly work you over, thumbs pushing into knots until they're all worked out. I usually stumble out to my car, still in a half daze, holding the tiny Dixie cup of water they've provided, and let my seat warmer finish what they've started for several minutes before I feel my motor functions return enough to drive away! read more

Such a wonderful place to go and so affordable, nothing compares as far as reflexology places go. Lisa is my go to person and she's always wonderful and smiling. When I'm having an overworked kind of month or week this is a perfect place to go. The woman at the front desk is super accomodating and always gets me in with Lisa. Just a great place overall. It can seem a little sketchy when you first walk in but they are clean and it's a comfortable place. You take off your shoes (and socks as necessary) and roll up your pants to almost your knees so they can soak your feet in a little bucket to get started. My friend and I went here on Friday after a stressful week. I have to admit, I was initially drawn to Sole Therapy because of the price. It was also because of the price that I did not have very high expectations. The atmosphere was not what I was expecting. We were brought back to a large room with at least six reclining tables. We were told that we kept our clothes on and they covered us in towels. I was wearing a dress, so I was obviously unprepared to we in a large, public room. However, my masseuse was extremely professional and made sure that he had a towel placed on me at all times to cover my legs. While this was an untraditional massage, I really enjoyed it and I felt extremely relaxed when it was over. For the price and location, I will be back! read more

I really liked the massages at this place. I've been coming here regularly for a couple years but today has changed my opinion. My husband made an appointment for me at 3. When I got there, the person at the front desk was ridiculously unprofessional and told me it would be a wait bc I was late. I was 7 SEVEN minutes late. That's fine. I am a big girl and can wait. The issue was that he kept going off on me for being late. Like...SEVEN minutes in most worlds is not late. Fine fine. When I'm not sure whether to say "ahh" or "ouch", I usually consider that a great massage. I like the hurt, and it makes me feel like I'm actually paying for something. We walked in with no appointment on a late Saturday night and we were immediately taken back. My massage started by laying on a flat, cushioned table, with my knees just off the edge so that my feet would soak in some hot water. I was covered in towels & blankets, so I was very cozy and almost fell asleep immediately. They did some shoulder, scalp, face, and hand massage while my feet soaked. Then I got about 30-40 minutes of foot massage. The foot massage had great pressure. Lastly, I flipped on my stomach for a quick back massage. Wow. As I mentioned, I was partially in so much pain it was tough to enjoy. I really had to breathe through some of the massage. It was almost to a point where I had to ask them to reduce the pressure. But at the same time, I loved it!! My back was a little sore the next day. Overall a really good experience. I didn't see any female therapists, although I'm sure they have them, maybe just have to call ahead if that's your preference. I'll definitely be bringing friends here soon! read more

The front desk woman who runs this place is literally the rudest tyrant I have ever come across. At 3pm on a Sunday I walked in with out an appointment, which is rarely a problem. I've been to sole therapy at least 30 times. The woman asks if I have an appointment and then completely ignores me and asks the two women that walked in behind he if they have an appointment and totally cuts me off and begins checking those women in and tells me to take a sit. I ask how long the wait will be and she tells me 45 minutes and she tells has "6 people coming in!" I told her she could be a little more polite and I walked out. This place has been on a steady decline over the last year and the staff is constantly changing. You can tell they work their employees to the bone and they are worn out and do not enjoy what they do. They have lost a customer and I will go to My happy feet where I am treated with respect and get an amazing massage for the same price in a private room. read more
