I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and I for $150 and it was honestly the worst massage we've had and we get them once a month. He had a woman and I had a man. He said that he was in pain the entire time without being asked about the pressure. My massage therapist thought it was a race for some reason and decided to not be gentle at all. If I could give them a Zero I would. 1st time 15 mins chair was good. 2nd 30 min oil in a private room was subpar. 3rd time just now was terrible. I had a 70 min $40 foot/ arm/ back massage. I don't know what that was, but the worse massage of my life. I now have a headache. My jaws cracked after because I was so tense from that strange massage. It wasn't even a massage. I love it here! I try to go weekly but sometimes life happens and can't get there. The staff are friendly and very good at what they do. This place is clean, super affordable and open late which I love because I can go after work! Every Reflexologist applies great pressure and they listen if they're too harsh. I followed them here from Galleria Mall. They are not your fru-Fru massage place, they are there for a reason and a reason only - provide good quality massage. I drive from Mesquite just to see them if that tells you something. All of them provide outstanding massage. I have chronic muscle issues from working a desk job and they help me tremendously when I can't take it anymore. While visiting family in Dallas I experienced severe muscle pains in my neck and back. My normal massage therapist in Dallas was not available so with reservation I searched for places near where I was staying and found this business. I was dubious that the massage would be any good but was desperate for some relief prior to driving home, so decided to give it a shot. How wrong I was! I was greeted upon entering and show to a private room after washing my hands (a health measure I very much appreciate). I booked a 90min Sunny and he was fantastic. He checked in regularly on my comfort with pressure and was actually able to deliver deep tissue (which is often hard to find). He was professional and thorough. The massage included moments with warm towels and hot stones--both of which were pleasant surprises at this price point. Speaking of price, the massage was a fantastic value! On that note, please tip handsomely since you're saving money on the cost of massage itself. The setting is pretty standard without any frills, but perfectly adequate and served it's purpose. I would highly recommend this experience and will make a point of booking anytime I'm in Dallas. They even have a punch card program which offers a discount after 8 visits. The only thing missing from my visit was the therapist didn't specifically ask if I had any problem areas, though I could easily have initiated that myself. The place is not a swanky environment but was just what I needed! I ran a 10k yesterday and my body was feeling it. This massage was much more about pressure on my muscles, squeezing out toxins. I bought a Groupon for a 90 minute table massage. I was able to get in quickly when I called on Friday afternoon for an appointment later that evening. When I arrived, I was greeted by a nice woman at the front desk and got checked easily! The business is so clean and relaxing - I definitely dig the vibe! Sunny was my masseuse and he was amazing! I got a gift certificate for the chair and foot massage special. It was therapeutic, as described. I showed up, flashed my gift certificate, and waited for about 10 minutes while the workers were busy with other customers. Then they had me soak my feet in warm water with "Chinese medicine," which was a tea bag, from what I could tell. My guy dried off my feet, reclined my chair, and gave me a new pillow before he started the reflexology of my feet. I'm relatively new to Chinese foot reflexology, and DANG! It is quite therapeutic. I also had the chair massage, which was pretty much on par with the other chair-massage-in-a-mall experiences. Employees were on the phone while giving services, other customers were on the phone or talking amongst themselves, and you can hear the noise of the mall. But I thought it was a nice bit of relaxation in the middle of the crazy mall. If you're at the Galleria, pop in for a few minutes respite. read more
