Wow! This place is awesome. We opted for the 70 min foot and body massage package ($60 before tip) and it was incredible. You are taken to a clean and serene communal area. While soaking your feet, the masseuse will service your head, upper body and legs before an indulgent foot massage. Once you flip over, be prepared to lift/remove your shirt for the oil massage! Please note that both of our masseuses were very heavy handed but it was perfect because we prefer deep tissue. They made sure the check in about pressure so speak up if you have any sensitivities. The entire experience was enjoyable, especially the head massage; be prepared to have your hair messed up for a thorough experience! If we weren't out-of-towners, we would be regular patrons. I had endured a very stressful week at work and wanted to treat myself. I popped into this spa and opted for the 60 minute foot and back massage. The man at the front desk was not friendly and told me to follow him. We went to an open room with multiple massage chairs. No instructions, no introductions. Another man entered the open area, pointed to the pail of water to place my feet, and put a towel over my face and sheet over me. The foot massage was nice and I enjoyed it. Then, things got weird. He asked me in broken English to turn over when he flattened the bed. I figured he would rub my back with my clothes on, right? Wrong! He pulled on my shirt to take it off, with other people in the room. I payed flat as he pulled off my shirt as to not flash anyone. Then, he unhooked my bra. I mean, I realize that it is said Koreans aren't as modest as some of us. Go to any Korean day spa and naked people are everywhere. Not sure why they don't offer a quick change into a robe in a private room. The back massage itself was good and he really worked at releasing my trigger points. Once done, he hooked my bra and helped me slip on my shirt without others seeing anything. When I paid, a women was at the desk talking on the phone. Again, unfriendly staff. Will I return? No. It was way too uncomfortable for me and the front staff was unfriendly. I am too modest to go through that experience again! You know a massage is good when you catch yourself snoring. Luckily the pricing here is so great you could snore to your heart's content without breaking the bank. I came in for the 90 minute special. It was only $50 which comes out to $0.55/minute! You start with your feet in a warm bath (mine was a little too hot for my preference). The reflexologist spends 20 minutes massaging your neck, hands, and head. Then your legs are wiped dry and he spends close to an hour on feet and lower legs. I was surprised that the massage wasn't over yet when he woke me up to massage my back. Mark was mostly wonderful, but at times a little too rough. I've been to this location twice. Both times was for a $40 combo massage (30mins foot; 30mins body). This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. They have great prices, the guy at the front desk is friendly, & I got an amazing massage the first time I went. I am giving 3 stars because the second time I went was terrible. I came in on a Sunday at around noon for the $40 combo massage & had to end it early. The staff was having lunch at the time & they were extremely loud in the backroom. My massage was continuously interrupted by side conversations, the washing machine, the microwave, & light coming from the break room. The door to the break room could've easily been closed to try to minimize the disturbances, but nobody made any attempt to create a relaxing environment. I am understanding of the time I came in, but the noise was excessive. I had to end my massage early because it was that bad. I informed staff the reason why I was leaving early & was told their "busy" on weekends. read more

Again, the massage was okay. The kind that reminded you, "Oh yeah, you have knots. You should probably spring for hot stone massage somewhere." I came here because of the ratings but now I know it's bs. First, the person I had was lazy. Maybe it's my fault I came on a Saturday night and they were already tired but they were basically just slapping my back. No pressure at all. Worst 30 minutes. And 2nd, we came with 2 people. The sign in front clearly says $30 for 30 minutes for back and $30 for 30 minutes for foot massage but you charge me $70 total. How does that add up? If only you could give negative stars this place would have them all. The most unprofessional and unskilled place I have ever been to for a massage. The man who gave me a message was very aggressive, intentionally rough and very anxious. l asked a few times to stop being so rough. I will mention I am a very petite woman, which is always taken into consideration by any experience masseuse. During the massage, he continuously would be using all his strength and I would tell him it hurt and it was not relaxing. He forcefully moved my shirt, pants and threw my legs several times. I was over the massage about three minutes into it. I had such a horrible experience and was uncomfortable the entire time. I brought my daughter (a minor) with me and I had to keep taking the towel on my face because she kept saying it was painful and her masseuse was hurting her. Once we ended our massage, I went to pay and the lady behind the counter was very rude. I waited a minute for her to finish her text message then told her what I got because it was almost like we were having a staring match. She gives me the most condescending look and says I'm glad you know what you got, not mentioning the total or anything. She says just give me your card. I give her my card and go to add a tip. She then insisted that my tip was not good enough. I let her know that she is mistaken because a tip is optional and she explained to me that everyone must leave a certain amount so I asked if I could see the receipt, crossed my tip out and zeroed it out and said well now you get no tip. She then starts to yell at me as I walk out. I asked to see then receipt one more time and took a picture so I can ensure they do not get my tip. She continued to yell while we were getting in our vehicle and preceded to tell us not to Ever come back as if that was on our to do list. It does have a weird smell that they were trying to hide with a little too strong air freshner. Moving houses took a toll on my poor feet! They were begging to be treated right. Following the reviews on yelp I headed to Royal foot massage. This place is situated in a decrepit area, which I totally was not expecting. I was in fact a little scared to carry on with the appointment. Let's just say, I'm more used to the American type spa, where you have a soothing ambience, trickling water, light music et al. Hence, this place was completely out of the blue. The receptionist was standing outside enjoying a smoke and entered when he saw me coming. As I entered the massage area, I expected to be directed in a private room. However for every foot massage, it is a common area with two lounge chairs side by side. Pairs of two were divided by thin white curtains. The common room was badly lit. I wouldn't say dimly lit, it was like walking into a dark room with a light source really far away. Anyway, the massage itself though was a game changer. It was just what my tired, overworked feet needed. It started with a feet soak in warm water. The masseur was firm, and the tension was melting away with each stroke and knead. I then started to actually relax and enjoy the releasing sensation from my feet. The cost was also way affordable than what I would usually pay at some decent spa! That was a huge bonus considering such spectacular quality massage. Points to remember when you book a foot massage appointment here 1. Don't expect nice ambience, great customer friendliness. The staff is respectful but not overly friendly with sing song greeting voice. I had to ask the masseur his name which I didn't catch quite well! In fact I enjoyed not being nagged and cajoled with unnecessary inquisitions! 2. So I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want to share this place with anyone... But seriously what a great deal for a great massage!!! I work on my feet in heavy work boots for 10 hour days and my feet were killing me lately so I wanted a solid massage. I found this place and tried the 60 minute foot massage for $30(!!!!!!) and omg. This guy found places on my feet I didn't know existed. There isn't a lot of fancy fuss here - you walk in, choose your massage, and I was seated in a big warm lounge chair in a room with several other chairs and people. They placed a light sheet over me and placed another cover gently over my eyes to block any light and then he got started. There was soft piano music playing and people snoring all around me as they got their massages. I could hear a tv playing in the reception area as I got my feet worked on but honestly I didn't care. It was so good. When they were done they wiped the excess lotion from my feet and legs with a warm water towel and sent me on my way. I had to sit in my car a good 10 minutes after to wake myself up before driving home. I can't wait to try the combo massage next. I believe they had options for foot massage with added neck/hand/shoulder massage too and all of those were reasonably priced. I went at 10:30am on a Saturday and was seated right away as a walk in. I don't know if you would normally want an appointment or not. I would recommend bringing cash for a tip at the end even though there was a tip option when paying with a card. read more

I came to this massage place because I had some time to kill and with the extremely affordable $30/ hr rates (45 min feet + 15 min neck and back) it seemed like a good idea. I was greeted and set up in their massage room pretty quickly. It's a small, dark room that could fit about 8 other guests. My massage itself was pretty great. Firm (almost painful) pressure that really got out my knots in my back. But I was annoyed that my masseur was also taking phone calls and reservations while he was massaging me. I understand they were understaffed at the moment, but it was very unprofessional. Still, I'm not expecting too much at a place like this, so I would go back. He was just aggressive while he was maneuvering my body. I left with a headache and not relaxed. To pay They attempted to pressure me into tipping when I did not want to tip because I was not satisfied. Mind you I was not reluctant to pay for the service because just wanted to leave. The man at the front was unfriendly from start and almost would not let me leave until I tipped I asked him if tip was mandatory and he didn't give me an answer he simply just gave me the card reader to complete my payment.
