During the session there was no communication on pressure and left her elbow on my spine while working other areas. Kept on leaving the room multiple times without communication. The girlfriend and I went to Foot Spa at the SW corner of Josey and PGBT, two doors down from Shipley's, last night for massages. Se had called ahead and arrived at 10:10pm. They agreed to still get us in despite closing at 11pm. We had to wait a bit in the room, and the AC was not working (getting fixed today). Despite that, Cindy and Tina did amazing jobs with the massage and stretching. Cindy specializes in the deep tissue massage. The facial massage part is cool and you might ask them to do more of that. We will next time. Cindy was great at deep tissue using forearms and elbows. She got the knots with minimal discomfort. She was exceptional on my large thighs and would be AMAZING after a long ride or heavy leg workout. read more

This is my hands down favorite foot spa, and I have been to many in the area. I am pretty convinced there is one on every corner in Carrollton and most of them are pretty good, but this is my favorite. We get the half back and half feet, it's $45.00 and they are open until 11. It used to be 12 but all the one's in the area are closing earlier now. There seem to be two or more shifts and most times when we go there is a super friendly young lady at the front, however we have been there when she wasn't there and they had either closed early or they were not as good/friendly. So that being said if she's there it will be perfect. She'll ask about pressure, what hurts, where, etc and make sure who ever does your massage understands. Walk in's are usually not a problem, we have been there and they were full and asked if we could come back in 45 minutes. So we drank coffee at Cafe Brasil until our appointed time, went back and were taken care of. Foot spa's are a big deal, especially late at night and a lot of locations will be totally booked on weekends. The half back/feet combo starts with shirt/bra off and face down on the table. Everything seems really clean, smells fresh, bathroom is clean, waiting area is nice, and there are separate rooms with doors. That may not sound important, but there are places in town with one open room, which is not near as relaxing, and can be really weird if you have people snoring next to you that you don't know. Since my lower back is my problem area and I have sciatica, they will pull my pants down slightly to work on the area on your lower back/tail bone/butt area, however they tuck a towel in so you are not over exposed. It does feel slightly weird the first time but you get over it really quick because it feels so good. At least for me because it keeps my sciatica from flaring up, and my lower back from getting stiff. You get plenty of upper/middle and lower back work as well as neck & shoulder, and rubbed down with hot towels to remove some of the oil. After you flip over (and they hold up a towel to screen you so you aren't flashing yourself) the feet go into the giant tub of hot water and the head/and face massage gets done, followed by shoulders, arms, fingers and on down to the feet. I love the face/head part, too, it males my face and jaw muscles feel amazing, another part of your body you will have no idea is so tense until you get a massage there. After removing your happily marinated feet and putting them on a towel, you get lotioned up and they start on one leg and then the other, working each one. They find places I never knew could be tense or didn't realize I was carrying tension in. They do nice foot stretching and rolling to loosen up the ankle joints. I really enjoy it and go every chance i get. If they are too booked for an evening, we will come back the next day. It really is my favorite. read more

Took my wife in for a couples massage yesterday afternoon as part of a "date day" we had planned. It's right next to our house so the it was very convenient. I got a full body massage and my wife got a very soft body massage, since she's currently pregnant. Overall the massages were pretty good, a bit painful at times, but I could have said something about it and didn't. My wife wish she got a bit harder massage, but understands how tentative it was with her being pregnant. Her body massage didn't include a hand massage, which she was looking forward to. The business setup and rooms were clean, nice, and the music played was soothing. Both masseuses kept any talking at a minimum, so that was good. Overall I would rate is about a 6 or 6.5 out of 10 experience. We may or may not be back again. read more

Im leaving two stars only because I spoke up and asked for either my money back or a certificate to return with someone else as our massage therapist. They in turn offered 30 min extra massage with two different ladies that did a better job so I added an extra star. Had they not given me that I would have only left 1 Star. The first massage was probably the worst massage I've had. I asked for soft but I didn't expect soft as in I'm going to break if you touch me soft. After I asked for him to go a little harder, he did but the massage just ended up being a rub down and not an actual massage. No pressure points were worked AT ALL. The next lady was a little harder and did better with pressure points but not up to par with any of the other massages I've had from reflexology. There's too many of these establishments to be giving mediocre massages. My advice, choose the one up the road. read more

Went last night at 9PM as a first time walk in after going to 3 other foot massage places who were booked. Apparently, foot massages are HUGE late at night! This place got me in ASAP! You go into a private room with two short to the floor beds. They bring in a warm foot bath for you to saok your feet in for about 10 minutes whiile they do a head/ face massage. Never realized how much tension I had in my head and forehead. The lady that did my massage name was Apple and she was very very good. My best friend and I decided yesterday that we wanted to get massages together and looked at Groupon for a deal. We found Foot Spa on Groupon offering a $55 dollar couples massage for one hour. My best friend bought the Groupon. This morning she calls and was able to get an appointment the same day at 2 pm. When we arrived we were greeted very nicely and it wasn't long before we were inside the massage room. Shortly after undressing we notice there is only a towel on our beds and we had to use that to cover ourselves up. Also they didn't tell us how to put the towel on ourselves so we are awkwardly laying there with only a towel to cover our bodies. Our massage therapists come in and get to work. I had a male therapist and she had a female therapist. Neither of them really massaged our bodies. It was more like rubbing just the surface. We even mention to both how we like the pressure. Then not even halfway through the massage my massage therapist switches with a female therapist. Very very strange. Our therapists would leave the room multiple times for random periods of time to go get supplies for our massage but just leaving us there without a word to us. I understand going to get supplies for the massage but shouldn't you have those ready to go. Especially since you knew that you were doing this massage? However, all the therapists involved had plenty to say to each other because there was almost constant talking/whispering to each other. At one point the new therapist I had takes out my ponytail holder without asking and puts it on my wrist. While taking it out she rips some hair out and doesn't apology even after I said ouch. Also lots of the massage we received were mixes of taps/pounds/slaps which tend to hurt. After the massage my best friend and I were just dumbfounded by how much more tense we were after the massage than we were before. Each of us have had our fair share of massages and this was by far the most bizarre one. When we went to the front desk to check out, my best friend told one of the therapists, who was the one to greet us when we arrived, that we were not pleased with the massage whatsoever. The therapist was so surprised that we didn't like it and not once did she say I'm sorry or offer any kind of compensation for the bad experience. While the staff was nice and the place was clean, it was not a very good experience for either of us. We will not be back. read more

I had same experience as other reviewers. They first of all scam you into buying Groupon thinking you are getting a good deal. The price I paid Groupon is their same price. There was no savings. foot massages adventure continues~~~ this time at Foot Spa @ Josey / Trinity Mills 190 went in after a long week ... a middle age lady greeted me then leads me into the room as a get prep for a 1 hour Swedish full body massage....the lady went on asking about my cupping marks on my back then I told her I'm Taiwanese and she just kept talking and leaving the room and coming back several times throughout the massage, she was great in several areas on my back but felt too over powering and weak at certain areas....which made the massage just so so probably wouldn't return unless they have a special or better therapist =/ she was nice and all just a bit too chatty for me I just wanted to relax and sleep the inconsistency in the pressure made it hard to relax/fall asleep .... a 3 stars for me....I didn't try their foot massage yet maybe one day I will but we'll see~ read more

Went with a girlfriend expecting a sit in a big chair and get foot massage. This is WAY more. No open room with chair. Private rooms or small group rooms with individual futon. Got foot soak, head, neck, well really full body massage. $30 bucks. It was awesome. Only down side is no one spoke English. But once the massage started that didn't matter. I have a lot of experience with these places. I used to go to one in Arlington regularly, so there's a certain standard I hold. However, now that I've moved to Dallas I had to find a closer place. I gave this place a shot and will not be back. The massage experience is supposed to be relaxing-it wasn't. I went in with a coworker of mine. We shared two beds to a room. The ladies who were massaging us were having a full blown conversation most of the time. From loud voices to quiet snickers. the towel they had set out for me was damp like it had been used. She massaged my whole body and finished with my face last. It's supposed to be your head and face first before anything else! Needless to say I woke up the next day with conjunctivitis (pink eye) will not be back! I only gave it two stars in all fairness, because the massage itself was okay. read more

I'd heard about the grand opening of this spa, and pricing specials, so I decided to give it a try. What a lucky break! I asked for a 30 minute foot massage, and was introduced to Cindy who showed me to an immaculately clean room with a very interesting and extremely comfortable low table. Soft and spacious, the set up is unlike any I've ever seen. Cindy brought the tub of water for my feet, and then started on a thorough massage that was a perfect blend of strokes and pressure. After that, Cindy gave me a wonderful foot massage, and as a diabetic, with sensitive feet, I couldn't have been happier. The 30 minutes were up, but she signaled for me to turn over on my stomach and proceeded to give a first class back massage. She used nice lotions that went on smoothly and without much scent, and once all the dimensions were covered, she brought hot towels to wipe off any residual lotion. Cindy's English is a bit limited so be patient when you communicate. What she can't speak from her mouth, though, she says with her hands. I'll be back for sure. read more

These people were horrible and dishonest. I first saw them on Groupon and called to see if we (my best friend and I) would be able to get in yet that evening (it said they take appointments only). The lady told me to just come in and they would honor the Groupon prices, so we came in. When I got there, the lady at the front told us that the price on Groupon was for a foot massage (said couples massage), and that there would be an upcharge to do a massage on your back (ok.). We then asked about doing the special on the door instead, as they advertised $30 for a 70 minute reflexology and back massage. She assured me that was only for your feet (despite it saying back massage) and she wasn't going to do the upcharge when we could pay more on the groupon prices for the same service and then upcharge from there. Agreeing on the price because I did not want to continue arguing when I had simpy come in for a massage, she now decides there is a fee for using a credit card as well. The bill was close to $90 for 2 people for an hour (on Groupon was going to be $67 because of promotion running). When we finally got in for our massages, the ladies were professional and kind and did thier best to get our knots out, although we ended up with the same special as the one on the door (at $30 a piece, even though we paid close to $90) where we got some massage on our backs, some on our legs and head and arms, and since the ladies were likely under the impression we were getting the special on the door, they kept going (was for 70 minutes), and at close to an hour, the lady from the front came by to tell them "they only paid for an hour" and they needed to stop. I have never been treated so horribly by someone I wanted to give business to and was willing to pay for as they continue to find new fees and then cut the service shorter than it would have been had I not paid the extra fees. BEWARE- You can see from my past reviews I usually leave positive feedback, and rarely find reasons to leave negative, so for someone to warrant that extra effort, it really has to be that bad. I've been to quite a few foot spas and was impressed by this place. My husband and I both got the 30 min back and 30 min foot massage. Here they started with your back first which is different from other places. I actually prefer that. You start face down, then flip, they soak your feet, do a front massage (neck, face) then feet. I liked the fact that my therapist asked what kind of pressure I preferred before she started. I've had some pretty light and some pretty deep pressure massages at other places. My massage was decent... She had good pressure but was a little fast and more on the aggressive side. My husband really enjoyed his massage. His massage bed was a little squeaky but the girls did acknowledge that and apologized. This didn't stop him from snoring though! The girls there were very pleasant. Amazing!!! Celebrating the hub's birthday who has been complaining about back pain, we decided to go here and it was awesome. FIrst off, its very clean inside with separate private rooms. We decided to go with the special $40 for a 30 min deep tissue upper body massage and 30 min foot massage. The massages did not disappoint!
