Its a little farther east and the buildings dont make it very obvious which business belongs to which. As for the massage, it was above average. The lady used hot stones, and used her feet to stand and pressure points on your back very effectively. She was also friendly during the massage making sure I was comfortable. Now the only downside, is that she left multiple times to check on something, or to go grab a different item. Im not a very petty person and it appeared she was the only person working that evening, so I was fine with it. Reasonable price as well. I wasn't amazed but I wasn't upset. Overall 3 1/2 - 4

For my husband - she had her phone going off the entire time, left multiple times in between and was more rubbing his body instead of massaging. For myself- she told me she didn't know how to massage because her hands were too tiny and her solution was to use the hot stones and jab them into my body. There was no form whatsoever. Even after this experience, we tipped 15 percent and they questioned if the tip was only for one person. Do not waste your time and money here.

Please don't let the online scheduling portal detour you from enjoying the luxury and superior customer service Spavia has to offer. I wouldn't even bother trying to book an appointment online if you're a first time guest - just call! Per other Yelpers, I booked with John because I enjoy deep tissue and apparently he is great (spoiler alert: HE IS THE BEST!!). Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. Thank you Spavia for allowing me to relax for once since having my baby 4 months ago!

Masseuse asked for the money upfront when we were already in the rooms and informed us that it was to pay upfront and the tip. And during the actual massage, there was no such thing as deep tissue or knowing exactly which one of the massages was being received. We went on Valentine's Day before they closed was being tickled the whole time instead of actually getting a massage. I left more tense than I went in. As well as we were only going for a massage and the masseuse assumed that because she asked for the tip upfront and because we were coming together, the tip was gonna be split between the two of us. She made the assumption that we wanted something more than just a massage. Which is 100% false as we are not interested in what she was providing. I would love to get a full refund for that experience because it actually made me feel more uncomfortable than anything, especially from a massage parlor that clarifies that they have the rules inside of the rooms that informed all the patrons that the massage therapist there only do massages. If I can truly give this place a negative review it actually be -5 stars, but I'm gonna be able to only provide it as a 1 star. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A WORST ENEMY!!!!!!!!!

I received a 90-minute massage for $100.00 - very reasonable. My massage therapist was Hannah, who had amongst the strongest hands I've experienced - great for knots and tight areas. The opening for my face was very comfortable, but not adjustable. They have parallel rails in the ceiling, which allows the masseuse to hold them, straddle you while you are face-down, and very effectively use their elbows and knees. I had had this once before and like it - although the person sitting on you may be off-putting for some. She spent a very long portion of the 90 minutes on my neck, shoulders and back. Which was great. She didn't use as much oil/lotion as I am used to, so some of it felt a bit rough, but I had asked for deep pressure and was ok with it. She also remained relatively silent during the massage, which I prefer. All-in-all, it was a very good massage. My only minor issue was I would have preferred for oil/lotion for less friction. However, I was very off-put at check out, when I handed back my signed credit card receipt with a $20.00 (20%) tip. The manager looked disapprovingly at it and said that Hannah had worked very hard because I had very tight muscles, and said she deserved a higher tip. I cannot recall ever in my life having someone question a 20% tip and suggest it wasn't enough. I added a $5.00 bill on top of the receipt and bid my goodbyes. So, be advised if you go here you might be called out for leaving only a 20% tip. I thought it was unprofessional and inappropriate - and cannot recommend this business.
