I told her I booked an appointment on class pass for a certain time and they approved it. She said that she didn't speak English and couldn't help me and that I should contact my massage therapist. But it was my first time here and the only number on class pass is the one for the shop. She told me to call the store number so someone can help me, so I did and it started ringing next to her so she just shrugged and said "oh well my boss isn't here I can't help you because I'm busy." Thankfully there was another customer that spoke the same language as her and he helped me translate so she told me to wait half an hour for someone to come. I agreed since I already took an uber to get here and booked this time out of my day. I waited in the lobby and the same front desk lady came and got me 30 minutes almost an hour after my original appointment time. And just said oh yea sorry I'll be doing your massage. I was confused but needed one so badly due to my intense job I just agreed and followed her. She was on the phone the whole time with someone arguing .The massage room was not a relaxing experience there was no music playing it was really awkward. I'm used to having some music at least. The therapist was texting while giving my massage! I told her I booked the oil and hot stones and she pretended not to understand and I didn't receive the hot stones at all. At the end she only massaged me for 40 minutes maybe less because every time someone would ring the bell at the front desk she had to stop my massage completely and help them. I understand being understaffed but that was very unprofessional why accept appointments ? When she left the room each time the door was wide open with me being in the room exposed. I left feeling super uncomfortable and wanted to cry. Then she has the nerve to say in perfect English don't forget to tip me. I highly do not recommend this place. I will never be back here..I wish I could get my money back.

Note: Spa Castle states they don't provide sauna uniforms, but they do provide robes made of a thin canvas which is essentially the same thing. Everyone wears robes around the facility, not clothing, for the most part. That's standard for a Korean bathhouse. Great: The facilities are large and really pretty with a huge variety of pools, saunas, and lounging areas, and calming music. There's a gym too but it requires sneakers. There's a large outdoor pool area. Spa Castle is friendly to those who don't want to be nude in the locker areas as you can wear the robes everywhere. Every major lounging area had a water cooler available. They also have nice details like a swimsuit dryer and shelving outside the saunas to hold your water bottle, drink, etc. Needs improvement: There is caulk floating all over the pools, and it's coming off the benches inside the hot tubs. I would rather not have caulk inside my private parts. Tickets are pricey, and don't include any traditional spa services (massage, scrub, nails etc) which are an additional fee. At least one area was still closed, and not all pool buttons (water jets) worked. Despite the pricey ticket, not everything is in good repair. I had some issues with service. Be prepared to give your phone number upon buying tickets. I didn't want to, they insisted. Definitely started my visit on a sour note. Then, I was not allowed to leave the building to get my water bottle which I forgot in my car. I had to make a fuss before I was allowed to retrieve my water bottle. What the heck? I don't understand why the web tickets are not redeemable for 24 hours after purchase. That makes no sense. They don't offer shaved ice for sale anymore, but the shaved ice pictures are still up. I wish they would correct these details. Unfortunately, I won't be back for a while.

So their options were send it through Zelle or they can write down my credit card information and charge me later. Both options were shady but I ended up sending the Zelle because I didn't need any issues for payment. The lady printed it out, checked it and showed back the receipt to me As she doesn't speak English, i assumed she reconfirming the amount. I confirmed. Possibly she dint like it. When i said thanks and good night twice, she dint even look at me, ignored completely and was writing down something while nodding her head. I found it pretty offensive. My parents and I went and each got a 60 min Combo Massage (30 Mins Foot + 30 Mins Back). We were all instructed to fill a waiver before our services began. Our masseuses were very attentive, friendly, and strong. I especially loved the back portion since I spend 5 days a week going into an office & my parents really enjoyed how intense the massages were since their professions are physical. What really sets this place apart for me is the free hot stone! I've never had hot stones until today and it was so luxurious. Thank you to NY Foot Spa for an all around amazing time.

The place itself was clean, relaxing, and had a great atmosphere. We had Rita and Kevin as our masseuses, and they were both wonderful. They made us feel comfortable from the start and gave fantastic massages. We both left feeling super relaxed and refreshed. The only downside was the guy at the front desk. He came off as a bit condescending, and when I asked him a question, he responded with a smirk, like I was asking something obvious. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something that could be improved. Overall, this is a great place for a massage, and I would definitely go back. Hopefully, the front desk experience will be better next time!
