The woman's locker room was spacious and they even had a separate room to take showers -this would be in the nude area be advised! We had a great time! Best massage ever! Has a deep tissue massage and it was divine. Now, there are a lot of things they don't tell you before you get here that I learned: they will charge you for everything. Bring your own bathing suit and towel (to rent a big towel, it's $4.) Also, bring socks. You can walk around barefoot or socks and if you don't have socks, they'll charge you for them. Bring a swimsuit - you'll need one if you want to swim in the communal pool. Also, when you get into the locker room - you will need to ask for a "uniform" (which is a t-shirt and shorts; they don't charge you for these.) but you'll need to wear these on the second floor if you are getting a massage or enjoying the saunas. There is a nude spot in your respected locker rooms that you can be naked in - I didn't feel weird doing this. No one is judging you because they've got their own things to worry about. Spa Castle has always been one of our favorite places to enjoy Saunas and Sushi. The food is always so good, but the facility has depreciated at a rapid pace. Tiles are falling off of the hot tubs, over 50% of the activation buttons to control individual jets no longer work, steam sauna has been down for months, employees use to be so welcoming and now they treat you like an inconvenience. With the prices continuing to skyrocket, we truly hope they will make changes. But for the unseeable future we will look for a new monthly retreat. read more

There should be a class action lawsuit taken against this place. File a complaint with the city! The woman doing the scrub is intimidating and did not follow any type of sanitation standards. She will hold on to you so you don't get out of the service. You will also be out of it due to the time spent in the heat. This was my first and last time using their services. Complaints to staff do not matter and there is a huge language issue between them. Complaints are met with that's how she is and she doesn't understand. I could go on about everything that happened but I have witnesses and I don't wish to publicly relive this ordeal. Keep in mind that you are naked and the only thing for you to get your clothes and items is that band on your arm and they have to let you leave with a barcode because there are glass barriers that are locked unless you pay. Your complaints won't matter at the facility get your stuff, pay & leave. Or better yet STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE CITY. YOUR SAFETY MATTERS FIRST. The scrubs are no where near any sanitation standard in the US. You will feel like you're in a back alley in a foreign country and DO listen to the negative reviews for services and complaints. They use trash cans to hold standing water and use a plastic bowl to dump super hot water on you. They reuse the spa scrubbers and whatever product they put on you. Nothing is labeled or disclosed and they use intimidation tactics. You are better filing a complaint with the city than fighting to get out or risk being thrown out without your stuff. Okay, I absolutely love this place and find it very relaxing. I've been a couple of times and have come to really love the nude bathing area and sauna alley! With this being said, me and about 5 friends went on November 25th for my birthday! We were all very excited. My friends and I had a great time in the nude area and put on our "uniforms" to go check out the sauna area. Myself and my friends are women with bigger bodies, so after reviewing the rules for this organization I found that we could bring our own clothing to wear in the sauna area instead of the uniform. Anyhow, we put on our "uniforms" which was really just some shorts and a T-shirt and went to the sauna area. After about 10 minutes myself and my friends were stopped by one of the employees who told us we all needed to put the uniforms on. I informed this employee that I had read the rules and we were allowed to wear specific clothing that was not the specific uniform is we chose to. This employee argued with me and my friends and escorted us downstairs, she forced my friends to get uniforms that did not fit them and truly embarrassed me and my whole party. Long story short me and all my friends are social workers so we did what we are trained to do and advocated for ourselves, we were given tickets to come back for free and sincere apologize to by one of the upper mangers. With all of this being said, I wanted to write a review because as a woman with a bigger body not having a uniform that I feel comfortable in and that fits my body is absolutely absurd and uncalled for. My friends and I were clearly targeted for having bigger bodies (as there were others in the sauna area not wearing a uniform and they were not stopped). You can't own a business and only serve people under a certain BMI. I hope that to remedy this you train your employees to understand people with bigger bodies and also have more inclusive uniform sizes. The expectation of "everyone needs to wear a uniform" can't be upheld if the uniform do not fit (and in no way should a fat women/ man be told they can wear a "hospital" like gown because they don't fit the uniform. I hope this business can learn some lessons about inclusion because not only is it good for business it's the right thing to do. read more

I love this place, it is a Korean spa that spin built and his maintained very, very well. It has hot sauna full spa, massage area, nail salon, sushi, restaurant, and juice bar, and then of course, all the bathing facilities so that you can be beautiful when you leave. Been to this resort twice during weekdays and can say, it's pretty spacious, quiet, and clean from what I've seen. For $50, it almost certainly feels like you're in a castle! It's European/Asian inspired so once you hit the changing room, you'd have to deposit your shoes in your cubby and proceed barefoot or socks once outside the locker room. There are showers, hot/cold baths to soak in, and wet/dry saunas inside. You'll need to be nude to do all of this. Wearing a bathing suit in the indoor/outdoor pools are fine but swimwear in the baths will contaminate the water. Some of the baths has water jet equipment for hydrotherapy but I'd say only about a third of them were operational. Probably for the best, considering the pressure for them seems way too high, like enough to put push you off your feet or out the seating you were in. The spa uniforms aren't standard, running about 1 to 2 sizes smaller. Their biggest sizes is a 2X/3X but fits like a 1/2X - not plus size friendly. The saunas are plentiful and unique - definitely my favorite part! Improvements are needed, but it was a pretty decent experience. read more

This is a wonderful spot to rest, relax, and get spa treatments. Came up for a friends birthday and I booked a massage and facial. Both spa treatments were relaxing and very professional. Then we spent the rest of the day lounging in the spa pools outside and checking out the different saunas on the second floor. I was amazed by how many sauna rooms there were! I left feeling so pampered and refreshed! If you don't want to book spa services you can just spend the days in the pools (inside and outside) and the saunas. This is kid friendly. The past couple times I've been there - half of the good stuff is out of order: women's cold plunge, women's steam room, upstairs cold room, relaxation room. Today the upstairs cold room smelled like urine and there was a used Q tip on the ground. So overall the quality is going down but they're charging nearly $25 more for the door fee. Yes, you get cute robes now but that's certainly not worth the increase in cost. I will say the massages are typically good, but unfortunately it's just not worth it to go there anymore. read more

Spa castle gave me RINGWORM!!!! I came here on a weekend at 10 AM and everything was fine until the pool bar opened and the afternoon crowd came. The locker rooms were absolutely packed and filthy, and I saw women changing diapers on the floor in front of the lockers. They require you to not wear shoes and wear the uniforms in the saunas, but they somehow ran out of uniforms, so people were just walking around dripping from the pool all over the sauna. It also started to get super crowded and no one was respecting the rules. The floor felt really gross and unsafe to not be wearing shoes in, especially in the bathroom. The food was alright and reasonably priced, and the few moments of peace I had in the morning were wonderful, but after the novelty wore off it was all over. Some of the sensors in the pool were also faulty as others have mentioned. It's really a shame because the concept is great, but I'm not risking my health by coming here again read more

Love the idea of the place but unless management is going to maintain the equipment it's a huge disappointment. A friend and I tried to spend the day at the spa 12/17/23 only 1/3 of the water jet equipment was operational people were taking turns to use the few items that did work. It was a disappointment for a first time attendee. The cost of admission, food, water, towel rental and such I spent about little over $100, I think next time I am looking for something like this I'll find a hotel on resort pass. My only problem with my room was that my tv lost signal the entire time so I didn't get to relax and watch tv. I called the front desk about it and they said they would have a maintenance come check it out but nobody showed up. We came here for my bachelorette weekend, and it was everything we needed and more! The jacuzzi's with different temperatures and jets were wonderful. The saunas: the himalayan one being my favorite, were so next level self care. Each one had different health benefits and made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable. There was so much more we could have done, but with just paying the fee we got our moneys worth. Next time, I would schedule and plan to get a massage and even a pedicure. When you first get there the front desk checks you in and gives you a WRISTBAND that looks like a watch but it is used to UNLOCK YOUR LOCKER and you purchase food by setting up a TAB so you can pay for eveything when you are checking out. The first locker room you go into is just for your SHOES. Once you take off your shoes you procceed to a counter where they hand you UNIFORMS. There are bigger lockers inside for you to place your clothes and belongings. We went to the OUTDOOR POOLS first. You are to wear a BATHING SUIT in this area. It is COED. We went on a pretty cold day but the temperature of the water kept us warm. It ranged from 93-105F. They have AQUA THERAPY jets to massage your body. Once we were done we went into the women's locker room. The INDOOR BATHS are similar to the outdoor pool except is GENDER SPECIFIC because you're NAKED. They do have COLD POOLS where the temperature is low 60s. There is a SHOWER area for you to clean yourself off before putting your uniform back on to explore the rest of the spa. They do provide body wash, shampoo, and hair dyers. If you would like use your own products you can bring them. They provide hand towels so it's not enough to wrap your body in it. So it's neccessary to bring your own or you have to rent one. The first time I went to a Korean spa it was culture shock. I've never been in an environment where there were so many nude bodies in an open area. It can be intimidating at first but honestly no one is looking at you and no one cares. Everyone is focused on their own relaxation. It was invigorating to expose your body and just be proud of it. It's not often you get an experience like this. There is a number of different SAUNAS with different temperatures, minerals, and lights. They were quite beautiful in the inside. There are sitting areas in some or mats for you can sit on the floor. They reccomend you not exceed 15 MINUTES in a room. They do have a clock on the door for you to track but this is when I wish the wristband was a watch so that I could have something more accessible to see. For DINNER we had ASYA. We had the SPICY BEEF SOUP ($11.99), LA GALBI "GRILLED BEEF" ($17.99), and the SEAFOOD RAMEN ($9.99). To pay they do take down your wristband number and just put it to that account. You pay for the meal when you leave the spa. It's convinent because you don't have to carry your wallet with you in the establisment; you can just leave it in the lockers. They gave us a BUZZER that would ring where our food was ready. Everything was hot and delicious. It is a little OVERPRICED especially when there are great restaurants around the area but it did hit the spot. The only side dish we weren't a fan of was the radish with mayo. read more

I am SHOCKED the reviews are so low for this place. It was SUCH a great experience. When you enter the front desk will educate you on the experience. You'll receive a water proof bracelet to open the lockers as well as charge drinks to in order to remain cashless and efficient. After entering you'll remove your shoes and then change into your swimsuit or the "uniforms" given to you. There is a nude bath house that is preferred to wash before beginning the experience. Phone use is prohibited in the pools, locker rooms and the saunas. It can be confusing but you can still keep your phone, just don't be a creep! Outside the locker rooms is the first floor indoor pool and bar. Outside of that area are more pools and hot tubs outside. The second level has all of the saunas. There are MANY, all with different themes and labels temperatures. My sister and I would do one for a few minutes and then run over to the Arctic room to cool off in between. Our favorite sauna was the least hot one. This floor also has salons for extra but we skipped those as well as smoothies and sushi. The top floor has relaxing rooms but not much else. First off, this place is great if you have a group of friends you're going with and you plan to have a few drinks and hang out. I went by myself for a morning of relaxation. It didn't quite hit the spot. I'll say right off the bat it is very clean and it's a fairly peaceful atmosphere. Here are the things that kept it from being a great experience for me: 1. They don't really explain how it works very well to you when you check in. Just read all the signs and you can kind of get a feel for it. 2. I was there mainly for the pools and hot tubs. One of the main pools was drained and closed. Nearly all of the hot tubs are only 2 feet deep so they don't cover your whole body when you're sitting in them. That's fine except for when you go in the winter and you're outside. All of the hot tubs with the exception of two outside were very lukewarm. The hottest tub inside was 99° and it felt cooler than that. There are individual seats and individual jet controls in one of the tubs but many of the Jets were broken. The Jets that do work only stay on for 30 seconds before they turn off , so you have to keep turning them on if you want the Jets. 3. Since I was going for relaxation, I went when they opened on a weekday. It worked! It wasn't packed and it was fairly peaceful. However none of their snack or juice bars on the pool level open until noon. I really could've used a water. 4. Even though I'm not a sauna person, I decided to put on my uniform and venture upstairs to get the lay of the land. If you enjoy saunas, this is your place! There are so many! And there are quite a few recliners out in the middle of the large open area upstairs where anyone can sit and read and relax. I wanted to grab a Boba tea and relax in a recliner for a few minutes but the Boba would not be ready for another hour according to the girl who was working the juice bar. The second level is also where you can get all your services, massages, manicures, pedicures, etc. I didn't partake in any of the services. I mainly wanted to sit in a few of the hot tubs for a couple of hours and just relax and unwind. But eventually I was just frustrated and went home. All in all, nothing was quite hot enough or relaxing enough, and it was just enough to be annoying. But like I said, probably fun on an afternoon off when all the restaurants/bars are open and you're with friends. read more

Wow! My step mom and I came here Sunday to have a little relax day after a busy weekend. We arrived at about 12:15 and were shocked as soon as we entered. This place is beautiful! The pools and hot tubs were great the saunas were all so unique. We stayed until about 8 and were able to hit every sauna and pool. We both got massages which were great. The food and drinks were reasonably priced, all area felt clean and sanitary. The outdoor pools did get a bit busy around 4 but nothing too crazy. I can imagine on Saturdays it's very busy though. There were some jets in the pools that didn't work but there was always one available that did. It has to be hard to maintain all the jets with how many they have. The uniforms they provided are clean just maybe a bit unattractive. I do like that they give you uniforms because at least you know the other people's clothes are cleaned. Not sure why there seems to be a lot of negative reviews but this was my first spa experience and I loved every bit of it! I celebrated my birthday here and everyone was so nice to me. Me and my boyfriend paid for the couples rejuvenation which came with 30 min private hot tub with champagne and sweets, a body scrub or facial (we chose body scrub) and a Swedish massage I believe. It was about $452. The whole experience was great. The staff was very nice. The facility was super clean, I truly loved it. My expectations were exceeded with the spa experience but there were some things I did expect. For the price, I thought we would get a whole bottle of champagne and more treats vs one glass each and literally 4 pieces of Lindt chocolate. Also our hot tub water could've been more warm...along with the temperature in our private room. They had a fan on and the window open inside which made it super cold. I also would've preferred to do the body scrub first before the massage because I went from dry and oiled up to wet and moist. Also didn't know we have to tip each person for each service to check out so just remember that you're still going to pay even more money when you get in. I would recommend a variety of temperatures for the sauna as well. Many of them were tooooooo hot. Overall I loved everything especially the massages so next time I'll just rather do a Groupon for entry and one massage. I could do without the body scrub. Another guest was FaceTiming in the Nude Only area. This was brought to the attention of 3 different employees including the two on duty supervisors and nothing at all was done. The guest was allowed to still remain in the facilities even though she completely violated the rules and everyone's privacy on the highest level. The spa area cleared out when the other guests saw she was on her phone FaceTiming and were outraged. After bringing this to the attention of all the employees we could speak to, we were told we would receive a refund for our visit that day. I was refunded $5. The admission is $54 including tax. Again to be clear of the gravity of this situation.. a guest was on FACETIME with women with no clothes on in the background. This is a complete violation of privacy. The guest with her phone should have been banned from the facilities for completely violating the privacy promised in that area and spa castle needs to take responsibility. Currently on a 26 minute hold trying to speak to a manager to escalate this issue. Update: spoke to an employee who said she would share my information with the manager who would give me a call back. Let me start by saying this place was amazing it was our 1st time. It was a gift from my son-in-law. It was awesome just my daughter and I having some girl time only thing I would say is. The young lady that was giving out the towels. Was rude but other that it was amazing experience definitely will be back. read more
