But other than that, it was a fine massage. I like that the beds are one flat surface with a hole instead of the typical head rest thing most places have which are really uncomfortable. So this type of bed is preferred imo. The massage therapist was polite and they do face massages which is nice. Overall good experience but if you want strong hands and deep pressure it's probably not the place for you. read more

I got the deep tissue massage that I asked for. I usually have to ask therapists to increase pressure, but was surprised that the pressure was strong enough that I needed him to dial back. Which he did. Scheduling was easy. No frills, but was clean and friendly. The cost was quite reasonable. I was not disappointed and I will return. read more

What a hidden gem! This place is a small shop in a strip mall, but it is well worth your time. It opened up earlier this year and I finally came by and gave it a try a few weeks ago. The people were very nice and the place is clean. I got right in and Evelyn was my masseuse. She was wonderful and I will be going back for sure. She is a professionally trained masseuse and it shows. She really took her time and worked on the knots in my neck, shoulders and back (just like most people have problems with). I have been to Sunrise multiple times and usually enjoy my experience although the massages can be hit or miss- there are some that are great and others are not so great.... but this last time I went was a bad experience. The lady that gave me my massage was very rushed, it was not relaxing and honestly very unsettling with how quickly she was rubbing. She was also uneven, she completely forgot to rub one of my feet. Lastly, she rubbed my face after doing my legs and one foot without washing her hands or anything. She ended up getting her massage oil in my eye which stung and then I woke up with pink eye the next day. The only reason I am giving more than one star after the terrible experience is because I have previously had great experiences so this was very disappointing. read more

I scheduled a deep tissue massage over the phone and didn't receive that, but a Swedish massage, even after asking for a harder pressure from the masseuse. When asking for clarification from the front desk, I was told that I had to state what kind of massage I wanted to the masseuse, not when booking. Between this, not getting a full body massage, and the masseuse continually touching areas I asked them not to, this was one of the worse massages I've received. I have had many massages before but hands down this was the best massage I have ever had. Jin, my massage therapist, was small and petite but she had some strong hands and worked on all my tense tight muscles. The place was very clean and comfortable. I wouldn't even consider this a massage. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Spend 60 minutes on ONLY my shoulders and back. He didn't touch my arms, hands, feet, legs, ANYTHING. Did not get a single knot out. Spent the whole time just sliding over my skin. Didn't use his hands, I kept asking him to massage and he said it was a Chinese massage. I've had a Chinese massage before. They did not cover any other part of my body and I asked to be done it was so bad. I originally asked for a 90 minute massage. They still charged me $65 for an hour massage and laughed when I was talking to them. I'm leaving feeling worse than I did. Don't make the mistake going here. It's money waisted. read more

Leo massaged everything from 2023 out of my tissues and muscles for 90 minutes of ultimate bliss! Deep tissue was exactly what I got! It hurt so good! I felt like I floated out of there. Not a "fancy spa" experience type of place, but very clean, nice relaxing atmosphere, good music , friendly owner and for the quality and price of the service, I definitely will be treating myself on regular basis.. This is my second time coming here. First time was great and we liked the massage. We tipped cash last time, $12 each. My partner and I get the couples massage. This second time was completely different. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I should have read the negative reviews before hand, because when you check out, they try and guilt you to tipping more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My partner left a 15% tip this time instead of 20% because they asked me twice if I was pregnant and I am clearly not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I am a size 12-14, that does not mean I am pregnant. I was not happy they tried to insulate I was pregnant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, We continued on with massage, service was great. When I see the price menu checking out, the pregnant massage is $75 instead of $60. Part of me thinks it was a way to try and charge me more, but it failed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even still, the lady sees the receipt up front after we paid and goes $18 only for two? And my partner tells them it is 15% of the total and asked her what is the normal and asks her what she wants. She backtracks and goes it's okay.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, both of us have been insulted.
