Massage Envy - CityLine is the best Massage Envy location that I have been to. It is extremely clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and I have never had a bad experience. The massage therapists are all gifted in different massages, and I have seen many of them for many deep tissue and many other more relaxing massages. I am a marathon runner and require massages every few weeks in order to remain healthy enough to cross the finish line. Fred B. has been part of my training plan for about a year now. He always spends a few moments prior to the massage getting to know what I need and expect from the massage on each visit. I was typically cool with the membership to massage envy, but I don't go that often. After all the years I have been going and tipping on top of monthly fees they wanted to charge me $10 to transfer a credit (massage) to my wife. HELL NO! My first time at this location and they didn't disappoint. Service was good from me scheduling my appointment, and one for my friend, to being greeted when we arrived. Stephen was my masseuse and he did a good job! Paid attention to my needs during consultation, and my body during the massage, which showed in the fact that I'm SO much better walking out than I was when I went in. I needed a deep tissue but was concerned I wouldn't be able to handle it because I was tight all over. I was worried to tell him I hadn't had a massage in many months and that I felt I was pretty bad off physically, but he took good care of me. And, he was very personable. I was soo very disappointed, a huge waist of time and money. It was absolutely freezing, I was shivering the entire time and the therapist just commiserated about how it's always like that instead of doing something about it. And even tho I called first to explain the pains I was having and what I needed, they totally stuck me with the wrong person, she didn't do ANYTHING to help the issues I was dealing with. I have been a member for several years and it's really unfortunate how Massage Envy manages their business. Membership prices increased $10 per month which is price gouging. Even though I am a member (will be cancelling) I can never get an appointment with my preferred masseuse because they block out time for non members. As a member I don't feel valued. read more

Customer service is totally horrible. They will trap you into a 12 month payment plan and not tell you anything and apparently you can't cancel it without a doctors note. Thankfully if you throw a big enough said they'll cancel it for you. Yell enough and they'll cancel it. Also there's no general manager only a rude assistant manager. read more

Would have given this place a better review if it wasn't for their disappointing company policies about the credits accrued. My wife and I tried the services for over a year, at the end we spend thousands of dollars only to lose our last two paid credits.One of which we gifted to my mom and paid an additional transfer fee. Based on how they treated us after we canceled our memberships-no willingness to even try and help and how they used their fine print addendums to hide behind, we will never return and will recommend against anybody going to this business. read more

My 5 stars are coming solely from the fact that Paul has been an amazing therapist! Massage Envy is pretty no frills, and I had been getting massages here for quite some time before I started going to see Paul, and had not found anyone that really seemed like they were worth paying the monthly membership fee for. I was about to cancel my membership, but after finding Paul I stuck around another 8 months or so (I've lost track, ha)! He is always super friendly, knowledgable about his craft, and gives a great deep tissue massage. I always bump up to 90 minutes with him when I can - it's so worth it. Definitely recommend him to anyone who asks. read more

The employees at ME CityLine are always professional, courteous, and kind. They are very attentive and make check-in and check-out easy. My masseur, Steven, is consistently professional and very knowledgeable about what causes the symptoms and discomforts I experience prior to the massage. It was a waste of time and money. I didn't even get full hour massage, filling in the paperwork and changing clothes was counted in that hour. So basically the entire massage was for 40 mins. The massage wasn't that great because I didn't feel anything even after telling her my pressure points. read more

KIM IS A LIFESAVER!!! I have been struggling with chronic low back pain and have tried massage and chiropractic care, to no avail. I signed up for a massage and facial today as a treat and saw Kim for massage. She was incredible. My right lower back pain is so significantly diminished from one treatment! I have enjoyed receiving several massages at this location over the past year after moving over from the Rockwall location; however, I recently called to schedule a couples massage for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. I had several credits due and wanted to use them to treat us both. The receptionist explained that they would need to schedule us for two individual sessions because they didn't have a large enough room for couple's massage. So, I proceeded to book our sessions to be for the same time. I later had to cancel my session due to a conflicting obligation. Come to find out... they charge my husband for the non-member rate a whopping $148 for a ninety minute massage and when I called today to inquire as to why this wasn't covered by the SIX credits I have already paid for, I was told BY THE MANAGER that they don't "recommend" a transfer to the client member and wont' apply it UNLESS the client member specifically says the magical words "TRANSFER". Therefore I am SOL- this is infuriating red tape and bogus logic. I am therefore tired of dealing with Massage Envy as an institution and will cancel all further membership, but doubt they are honest enough to credit me or to refund the $360.00 amount worth of credits I have already paid for. Beware of these "bargain" massage places that only pay the therapist about $25 an hour but charge the members $60 plus each month for a one-hour massage!!! read more

Front desk ladies and therapists are v nice. The massages are good, but short and overpriced if you aren't a member. Their membership felt like a trap. Their policies are whack and as soon as you cancel, customer service is out the door. Acquired paid massage credits over the yr and they give you a short period of time to knock them all out if you cancel, and if you lead a busy life and don't count down the days yourself they expire and they don't give care that you've spent hundreds and thousands with them only that you are no longer members... Until today, I'd had decent to good experiences at this Massage Envy. But today, I had an experience that heavily discolors my prior impressions. I called to schedule a massage for today, and was told I could schedule at 8:00 or 9:00 tonight. Since I have a gift certificate for an additional 30 minutes -- that came with the purchase of a promotional package -- and since I had already been told the therapist had the time available, I asked to add 30 minutes to the hour I called to schedule. She replied that she couldn't do it, because the therapist would "lose out" on a half hour of work. I pointed out to her that I would lose out on getting what I need -- and have paid for! She said she understood. Then she said I could schedule either a one hour massage or a two hour massage. When I bought the promotion, there was no mention of limitations in using the parts of the package. I won't buy another, nor will I renew my family membership with Massage Envy. I suggest caution in purchasing their "promotions." They seem designed for the benefit of the business, and the business alone. read more

Last February I came in to Message Envy with soreness and pain. I had dealt with my struggles with my pain on my knee and back with a physical therapist but I looked for an alternative that did not require a doctors order. Since coming to Message Envy, my pains have subsided and I am more relaxed and comfortable. I am coming once a month and it has maintained me in a state of better well being. Thx read more
