First of all, let me start off by saying I have done many mystic tans in the past and never had great results. I found a Groupon for Tantrum and they had availability the day before I am to leave for vacation (today). I will say their location is a little hard to find, but I called the phone number that was on my email confirmation and the girl was able to direct me right to it. Upon arrival I filled out a short form and was given 3 exfoliating towelettes that came with my Groupon purchase. These were great to help prep me for my tan. Erin was so personable and made me feel very comfortable. I never felt rushed or like she was less than thrilled to be there on a Sunday morning. She explained the process and after care instructions and even recommended products to prolong the tan. She did recommend a moisture lock spray that I took her up on and that did add $5 that I would need to pay at the end. All in all, she was very thorough. I will definitely be back! The tanning salon itself is not the best. It is located inside a building that rents space to various hair and nail salons. It is only one small room. With that said I know rent is very high in Frisco especially on Preston Rd. I got my spray tan at 1:00pm on a thurs and took a shower around 9:30pm. It is now Monday and my tan still looks great. I have blond hair and have not been in the sun in 6 months so I got the level 1 for fair skin. It was perfect, not orange and it does not stink at all. I was a little sticky and one area on my arm was messed up in the car when I leaned on the leather seat. I noticed that having on long sleeves and loose fitting pants actually work better than exposed skin. I have already scheduled two more tans! read more

Tantrum airbrush tanning is by far the best in the area. I've tried 4 other spray tans in the Frisco area and was never completely satisfied until I went to Tantrum airbrush tanning. The spray tan is the perfect amount of color without looking orange or fake. The technician was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the process and all the products they offer. She was able to walk me through everything from choosing the right shade, tan enhancements/add-ons as well as lotions to keep it lasting longer. I was very pleased. Trantrum airburing is the BEST! It's not like anyother spray tanning. You don't streak like other tanning booths do. Your hands look very natural! I have been using them mice winter for dance shows Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and Maverick Damcer try outs and I look very tan and natural NOT ORANGE! If you need to be squeezed in or anything all you have to do is e- the owner and she is AMAZING at working with you. When I get sprayed in the winter people think I've been tanning but it's airb brushed! It comes off a week or two later. I Would seriously recommend it! read more

I've been going here for about a year now and I LOVE it! I always schedule my tans on Wednesday's so that Jordan will be my spray tech!! She is so knowledgeable and always makes sure my tan looks the best it possibly can. We're always trying different combos of moisture lock, double dip, and different colors depending on the event!! She always asks what it's for and we go from there. As a dancer, I've been to quite a few tanning places including Sol, Planet Tan, etc. and Tantrum is by far my favorite. I've used Tantrum Airbrush Tanning about four times. In comparing Tantrum with other airbrush tanning I've used- they are great! In particular, I like that there's a private room when applying the tan, as opposed to curtain dividers. The technicians apply the solution evenly and ensure there are no lighter or heavy spots. The solution does not smell badly nor is it sticky. Lastly, I've been able to schedule tans on short notice which is a huge plus for this busy mom. Keep up the great work, Tantrum. read more

Love, Love love my tan. It's even and the most beautiful cocoa brown, looks so natural from my toes all the way to my face. Went to Tantrum location in Frisco, TX. I used tantrum airbrush tanning for the first time 2 months ago before a trip to Mexico...it looked beautiful and lasted nicely all week. The attendent was very professional and the tan came out beautiful and even. Finally I wasn't the whitest person at the beach! I have received a few airbrush tans from Tantrum, once in the dead of winter (I was so white) and the other in the beginning of summer and both turned out well! Located in strip center near Toys R Us. Very professional. I am fair and I get the lightest color and it looks natural (esp after a few hours and a shower). I have done the exfoliation, but I don't feel it is necessary. Fridays are a good day to go b/c it is only $25! read more
