Do not get the Black Friday package deal! It's a rip off. I bought a regular package for $99 which doesn't expire. Then on Black Friday I bought an additional package. I was told to use the Black Friday tans first because they expire in 1 year, so that's what I did....or at least I thought I did. Turns out they deducted it from my regular package and then told me that my black Friday package expired. I had 4 tans left that I now cannot use. read more

Everyone that works here is lovely and SO nice. However, I think there is an issue with management. Every time you get a tan, they call a week later to ask how your tan was. When I had an airbrush that was not good they did not do anything about it just said, oh we're sorry - better customer service would at least be offering a discount on your next service especially to someone that has been a customer for years. There have been many issues since they moved locations in McKinney - I had a tan and the booth shut off part way through, the lights were broken in one of the booths for at least 2 different times I went there, and last time I was there the payment machine was taking so long I ended up leaving because they couldn't tan me because they didnt know if they would be able to charge me. Again, all of the employees go above and beyond and make sure to be apologetic even when there are issues but I have not received the level of service I expect for the prices they charge read more

I went to Sol Sunless Tanning two days before my daughter's wedding. I am very pale so was concerned that it would not look natural. I was totally surprised at how good it looked! I was just glowing and got so many compliments on how well I looked. I got light medium and you could definitely see the difference. I will say about day 5-7 I did start to look a little orange as it wore off. It didn't matter to me since wedding was over. read more

I love this place and will never go anywhere else!! I've been getting spray tans for over 10 years now so trust me when I say that I've tried EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE. The technicians take their time with air brushing and always make sure to ask you if you're satisfied w the color before they finish the session. Also, something that really sets them apart is their attention to detail. They even go as far as using a little roller-paint brush type thing to smooth everything out throughout the tan to ensure that I never have uneven streaks. 10/10 recommend. The only downside I can say is they are closed on Sundays & Monday. read more

Well, I'm not a happy customer. I booked an appointment 2 days before my son's wedding and was told my credit was out of date when I went in for the appointment. I asked specifically if my credit was still good when I booked the appointment and was told it was. Not a very friendly person at the facility. She told me that they had hired new people that didn't know the rules. That's not my fault. Very disappointed. Going to Walmart and get some spray tan. But twice now I've had to go and buy spray tans from a competitor location because of them being closed on the day/times I needed to get a tan. Be aware they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I called to see when they would be opening and was told that the employee that was opening had an emergency and they could not see me until 2pm. Problem is--my flight for my vacay leaves at 2:30pm. Love this place been going here over a year now and haven't been disappointed! Super fast & easy spray tan & your not in a small area so the smell isn't as bad! this was my first time going to sol for an airbrush tan, i have some good and bad things to say. the staff that was there was super nice and accommodating, no complaints there. kind and professional goes a long way! but, some of the bad things would be- when the tan is developing it's pretty crazy looking and scary.. i understand this could be as expected but the tan didn't seem to dry down quick at all and because i got in my car right after, my seat took off some of the color so that kinda stinks :/ also when i got home i noticed some spots that were far from blended. mostly on my ankles and wrists, there are patches that don't seem to be touched by color at all.. compared to the many other air brush tans i have gotten i'd definitely say i prefer the others. mostly just because when the tan is developing, i can actually go out in public and it doesn't look like i just got a spray tan. not sure if it's something different about the formula or just a bad application read more

This is the best color I've ever had in a spray tan. It's too bad the only way to get the future discounted spray tans is to buy them before you even try it. Really? If you believe in your product, you'd let someone try it first. I went in on a Groupon with mixed reviews so I wasn't ready to commit before seeing how the spray tan turned out. As it stands, the full price is too much so I'll just have to go with another option which is too bad. I'm pretty pale and went with medium. Sol Sunless is awesome, I love the Mckinney location. I tanned there very recently and loved it, and my daughter Tessa has been using the booth for a while because she is a competitive cheerleader. I love the staff here and love that the location is close by. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because they have 1 booth and twice in the past month it has had issues and I've had to come back. I swing by on my lunch break once a week and don't have the ability to wait around until it decides to work again or keep coming back. They need to get another booth working. read more

I've been going to Sol Tan since it opened in McKinney and have had nothing but a great experience each time I go. The girls that have worked there have all been wonderful even when I have had them spray me rather than doing the booth. Alexis is there pretty much ever time I go and always is smiling and friendly. It's nice when you call and they know who you are. She is extremely professional and makes you feel comfortable even when you are in a vulnerable state. I scheduled an appointment with groupon at this location. I arrived for my appointment and they claimed I made an appointment in Frisco. I then checked my call log and saw that they were wrong and that I had scheduled at their location. I'm assuming they just didn't want to accept the groupon but they shouldn't offer it if that's the case. The tan I received was uneven and not as dark on my chest as the other parts of my body and also made my hands orange. Buyers beware. read more

I had a personalized airbrush and my experience with the spray tech was great. She was sweet and helpful. The downside to this place is that they try and sell you one thing after another. As a new customer, I was pushed to buy 2 things in addition to my tan and that was before I was even sprayed! Then came the selling while I was in the middle of being sprayed! I understand they have to make money, but sheesh! Can't I just go in and get my spray tan without being bothered for more money? It was a little much. read more

You're better off using an in home tech. This company does not have a working number for their corporate office, doesn't answer their phones at their locations and despite multiple attempts to cancel over the last year I'm still being charged for a service I don't use. I understand the whole "submit a written cancellation letter 30 days prior" that most companies who use auto draft employ but when the cancellation letter gets sent in 4 times over a year, is confirmed by corporate and yet your bank account is still charged this is called fraud. The inconvenience of finally having to cancel my bank account after nearly a year of battling them is infuriating. read more

I love it here, the Venetian solution is my favorite. It always leaves me a gorgeous brown color. Being in high school and being a cheerleader I always want to be tan but most girls tans at my school are orange and I am so glad I found Sol so that I never turn out orange. The store is super clean and Tristyn and Alexis are very friendly. Very happy to have found a tanning salon as great as this one. Also if you go in on Tuesdays they have a happy hour from 2-6 offering you 50% off a session!!!
