After reading reviews on Yelp for Bronze Bombshell , I decided to give them a try. I live in Plano, but I got the locations confused, and ended up going to the Bronze Bombshell in Southlake. I'm sure the Bronze Bombshell in Dallas is great, but I had a fantastic experience at the Southlake location. Monica was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job. Monica made the whole experience a tremendous amount of fun. I felt like I was talking to one of my best girlfriends. We laughed and shared experiences all whilst she was doing my spray tan. She will not give it another thought if she has another customer that has more money than you. Look out for yourself. Don't trust her...unless you have money, she will lean to the money...not the person. Great place to go!! This was my first time EVER doing a spray tan and I must say I am in love! My entire experience was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and explained the entire process of what I was going to expect. I should also say that she told me before I even showed up with how to prepare myself (wear loose clothes, etc.). I received so many compliments on my "sun kissed" tan that looked natural. I needed this for a series of parties for graduation over the weekend. I tanned on Wednesday night for a party on Friday! My tan was still in phenomenal condition! The key- USE LOTION! My daughter and I have been going to Monica for a couple/three years now. She is our "go to girl" for a great looking tan. Love her product, she definitely knows what she's doing and she does a great job doing it. I feel totally comfortable with getting an "all over/totally nude" tan from her. Product is everything. Monica uses St. Tropez and from my experience, it is the best color/product for my skin type. Please know that you have to prepare your skin/do your part -- prior to seeing Monica -- to get the results that you are looking for, for a really great looking tan. Monica is so great!!! I've been to commercial spray tan places before, but it really is better to find someone who makes you feel really comfortable when you're getting a spray tan (especially if you like to go full-nakey like I do) and I felt so much more comfortable with Monica. She has a very welcoming private little space, it was a cold day and she had a little fireplace turned on so the room was very cozy. Her technique was perfect, you can tell she's a real spray tan pro. What really makes the difference is her attention to detail. She uses lotion on your hands and feet pre-spray, she directed me into many different positions to get all the crevices, she stepped back quite a few times to make sure all my sides were even (really important, and I've had people just look at everything up close and then you get home and you look uneven!), and she really takes her time after to wipe your hands, nails, feet, etc all those areas that can get too dark or Cheeto-y. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this tan develops in the next few days, but everything was so meticulous I'm sure it will look flawless. Thanks again Monica! read more

The other reviewers must be her friends. I tried Monica due to the high ratings here and regret spending my $40. First off, she doesn't answer her phone if you have never tanned before and have questions. Everything is done through text. Second, she is not that friendly. Third, my tan was horrible. The color left me orange, she lets you leave without drying fully so it wipes off EVERYWHERE and after it dries leaves white spots where the tan rubbed off from driving home. I asked her if that was going to happen and if it would still look spotty after showering and she said no but 24/hrs after my spray tan, I have white spots on my butt from sitting on it driving home. I told her I wanted to be dark and I am a light orange. Worst tanning experience ever. I would not go back or recommend her to anyone. read more

Monica at Bronze Bombshell is an airbrush tanning goddess! She works wonders on my pasty white skin, giving me an beautiful natural looking tan. I am really picky when it comes to airbrushing tanning and do not want to look fake or orange.
