Brooke was very welcoming and helpful when i arrived. I had an issue at another location with their versapro and felt taken advantage of. I explained to her that I used their booth and the tan lasted less than 48 hours and they charged me $90. I made sure I was fully shaven and exfoliated with no lotion going in. I went back and they refused to help me with a refund or another session. Brooke not only made sure my tan bottle had great color tones (that have lasted almost a week so far yay), she gave me a complimentary Versa session on my next visit. Thank you Brooke! I hope Brooke, Alyssa & Taylor stay around for a while...they are so friendly & efficient. They are great! Yes, sometimes the machines break down, or they spray funny/unevely, but that's to be expected with constant use. I've heard customers treat these girls in a very mean way when the machines don't work correctly, and these types of customers annoy me since it is not their fault; they always try to fix the problem right there on the spot. Me and my boyfriend go to this location all the time and today we were blown away by Chloe A. This girl needs a raise big time. She went out of her way to check 3 separate tanning beds to make sure the misters worked for my tanning bed upgrade, and then called not only me but my boy friend to let us know I left my brand new AirPods behind. Who the hell is doing the hiring around this placethis place has been consistently bad since at least 2016. Just a bunch of high school/college girls that are talking on their cell phone the entire time while assisting a customer, very rude and unaware, looked bothered to have a customer, and just taking pics on Snapchat the entire time. It's actually incredible this place is still in business. Don't even get me started on this establishment overcharging - go literally anywhere else. I've been coming to PBT since 2013-2014. Today I came into this location, I usually go to the one off Preston and Frankford. I love the staff there! The staff at this location is particularly unfriendly, basically trying to tell me I need to purchase a certain item or my tan will look bad. I spend $90 a month on membership here, please do not disrespect me. I do not "need" to purchase anything from you. Beware that the staff here will try and tell you this because they get commission. The rooms are also disgusting and filthy. NOTHING like the rooms at the Preston/Frankford location. Take an extra 20 minutes out of your day to make the trek to the other location, because this one sucks. read more

Good Afternoon Everyone, I try and avoid being negative and this happens to be my first yelp review, however; I feel it necessary to have this information accessible to the public. I do not tan for the fear of burning, but I am trying to prepare my skin for a vacation to the Andaman Islands. I was instructed to have a base tan, by the travel agent. I began researching tanning salons, and a dear friend of mine had recommended Palm Beach Tan. Currently I am in Plano, TX for a business trip and decided to begin my tan adventure here. My plan was to inquire about a membership and to try my first tan. I entered the establishment and there were a few people waiting, so I said to myself "this has to be a good place if there are these many faces." There was a tall, young, man full of tattoos and silver looking hair (not the most professional looking). His nametag said Jonathan (not sure exactly of the spelling). His look was not as off putting as the way he treated his customers. He was EXTREMELY rude to the customers that were waiting to tan. There was a lady that had identified herself as a district manager, and that had zero bearing on the way he had spoken with her. He was rolling his eyes, speaking VERY unprofessionally to the other customers that were waiting. If I were that woman, I would have slapped his eyes straight. The environment was very tense and had caused a lot of "un-comfort" for me. I am sure the other customers in the salon were very uncomfortable as well. Needless to say, I will not visit this establishment in the future. I plan on researching other tanning salons back home and notifying my friends whom may search for salons in the future. I am very dis-pleased with this location and the environment that the young man created. Palm Beach tan needs to hear this and will hopefully take appropriate action to prevent any other customers from receiving this "snooty" un-professional attitude from Jonathan. I have been had the mystic tab membership for over 3 years now. Likes: clean and the tan itself Dislikes: I can NEVER come in without a product or discount being shoved in my face. NO ONE needs a stock of 10 overpriced lotions! No means no! In the summer, I am lucky to use my membership because the mystic is always broken. They will send you to another location and it will be broken too! What am I paying $75 a month for!? I had fraud on my recurring card. It took 4, yes 4 attempts (therefor 4 employees) being hounded and re-doing the update for them to get it right, and bill me correctly. After the experiences in the last 3 months at over 4 different locations, I am planning on buying my own system to save the headache of the experience of doing business with them. read more

I called to inquire about my account and how to use my unfreeze points and balance of unfreeze. I spoke with a gentleman and it really eeks me because he was rushing me on the phone and trying to avoid putting my name into the system to answer my questions. This kind of behavior only makes me want to reactivate and use up my credits and cancel so that my money isn't wasted during my freeze out time. Palm Beach, I think we will be parting ways really soon! As for this location, I liked it okay until this. Last time I was in there, the front desk staff wasn't too friendly but whatever. LOL. This store is BROKEN! Every time I come to this location there is always a problem. They either say my account is frozen. There's a block on my account. Or I can't use a certain machine. Which is ridiculous because I have the membership for spray tan's and this is the only location that gives me hell. The worst part is no one can tell me why I can't use the services at this location. I was going to cancel my membership to Palm Beach after moving because of my 4 horrible visits at another Palm Beach at 3685 preston rd in Frisco. I saw this Salon was about the same distance from where I recently moved so decided to give Palm Beach another try. Wow....what a difference. Brittany (the manager) was so helpful, she had answers to all my questions, was able to quickly transfer my membership to her location and all her employees are sweet, knowledgeable, fun and very well trained. I cant say enough about this amazing place and how well they treat their customers. If you want an amazing tanning experience go to this clean, beautiful, well maintained and awesome customer service salon. You wont be sorry! read more

I've been to several Palm Beach tan locations and haven't had any prior issues. When I went to this location to activate a new membership, I felt really uncomfortable. I am in sales, so I understand the need to upsell.. This was just too much for me. From beds to lotions, she would not give it a rest. It turned something that I was initially really excited about into a pretty stressful event. I will likely be going to a different tanning membership next month. read more

There is 1 girl that works at this location named Laurel who is ALWAYS so nice and helpful, she's always making sure that I have the best experience while I tan and is never pushy. IF YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION, ASK FOR LAUREL, she's their BEST employee by far. She's very informative, respectful to customers, and never fails to put on a smile for everyone who walks through the door :) On the other hand, there is a male sales rep who's always extremely rude and has an attitude. He constantly tries to push people into purchasing products, and doesn't even greet the customers kindly or treat them with respect. HE IS THE ONLY REASON IM GIVING THIS REVIEW A LOW RATING. constantly see him on his phone and have left this location numerous times simply because of the way he treats me and other customers. The beds are never completely cleaned and i dont know how many times I believe its room number 15? Has bulbs out constantly. I haven't seen the gm there in awhile (little gay guy) ughhh hes the worse alwaysssss rude and very pushy with lotions until one day i told him to stop asking. He insisted my lotion was terrible. I have never received great service at this location- have been lied to several times by different associates and store manager. Very pushy to sell and terrible customer service. I avoid this location unless I absolutely have to for timing reasons. I usually make the extra drive up to Frisco location instead- much better treatment there! read more

She listened and was very understanding and compassionate. She not only fixed the issue, she also have me options and let me choose. This was a nice place, but now they have a manager who likes to act like he's some kind of major deal. I've gone there for many years and never had anyone hassle me about how many minutes I can tan with their "Diamond membership", after I've been tanning there all summer. He has a real attitude problem and complaining about him had no impact, so their management doesn't care. The place has dead bugs all over the floor, no working ladies room and now they have no customer service. read more
