If you use multiple machines during your visit you have to keep going to the front to let them know your ready and every time you go to the front you have to wait in line while they try to sell products or check people in. They constantly try to sell you product. I didn't even know they had robes until a year later when I heard them asking a new person if they want a robe. They have a red light therapy sign on one of the rooms and it's definitely not a red light therapy bed and of course the employees don't know any better. The steam pod smells like urine. I had to get out of it. It was disgusting. When I tried to cancel I had to email them. When I emailed them I received no response or confirmation. Then I tried the live chat. Live chat worked but I did not receive a confirmation email and was left wondering if I'm getting charged again. Like I said just throw the whole place away.

I do do appreciate her desire to meet my expectations. The honey wax the salon uses is quite nice. It is a quick setting wax that grasps the hair but not your skin. She was very attentive to the few stragglers that attempted to stay behind. Gold star for the OCD attention to this type of detail. I'm looking forward to using Delaney again soon. NOTE...If you are planning to use the first time wax discount, be prepared to provide proof of Texas residency. Quite a challenge for those new to the area or visiting. My waxer let me know that since I was 4 mins late if her next client came early then I would have to wait until she was done. I asked how much time is allotted for each client and was told 10 mins. After waiting a minute in the waiting area the next client came in and she was taken in. Not sure how this business practice makes sense but I found a location closer to me and will not renew any packages at this place.

I tried this place out since my usual lady is so busy & hard to get into. Lesson learned…read more My esthetician was visibly nervous and shaking, that should have been my cue. She had me get undressed and I had nothing to cover myself for when she returned. I know she's going to see it, but the hallway doesn't have to! So she begins the prepping, sprays my crotch directly like she's washing a window, and dries me with paper towels, or sand paper? It felt the same. Next a pile of scented baby powder, great. I asked if it had talc because that's a big no no on my crotch. She had no idea, checked the bottle, no talc, but then asked what talc was. ‍ After every time she touched something she Didn't sanitize, she just seemed to change gloves or add a new one? It was odd, but whatever works I guess. Finally it came to the actual sugaring. She MICROWAVES the whole jar right next to me, several times, checking by tapping the inside of the jar to see if it's ready. The other place I have gone before, and will only go now, uses special warmers because sugar wax is basically food and will cook in a microwave. My esthetician let me know this was how ALL of the Sugaring NYC's do it that way. A national chain can't afford the proper equipment? No, they're just cheap and greedy. So the the hair removal starts, this was way extremely painful not at all like I'm used to. I had to stop her so I wouldn't be bruised. She did discount me since we didn't do the full service and I tipped her the same because it isn't her fault, it's the company who didn't give her the tools or training.
