All I have to say is, watch your credit card. They charged mine and said itcwas a credit on my account. Nope was not a credit. The employees need to be trained on pricing and how-to run credit cards and the younger employees need a lesson in customer service. I will be ending my membership. I signed up because I was told I'd receive two free tanning sessions and was specifically advised to call on May 1st to cancel so I wouldn't be charged. I followed those instructions, but I was still charged anyway, and now they're saying they can't reverse it. That's extremely frustrating and feels misleading. If the staff gives customers cancellation instructions, those instructions should actually prevent a charge. Instead, it feels like the business is set up to keep billing cards and make it difficult to fix mistakes. I would not recommend signing up unless you're prepared to watch your card closely and deal with poor communication if something goes wrong. read more

The reason why I came to see what they are about, coz they added spa services like hydropods and beauty machines, it is the one with the red light, you stand in there for 12 minutes max, its good for a bunch of different things, ask Quinn! haha I tried many spas around and this is cheap comparing to others, only $69.99 a month and that is for an unlimited plan. I've been to many Glo locations. And this one is my favorite. April and the rest of the staff always provide great service!

Since Glo has taken over from Lux Tan the salon has gone downhill rapidly. The toilets are not clean, there's hair on the carpet mats at each tanning bed, dirt behind the doors, and you're bombarded almost to demanding you buy products. As of late the salon has been closed due to construction in the building next door. No notification, no sign on the door, nothing. When it was Lux, it was kept pristine. The staff greeted you by name with a smile. It was fun just to go there. Now, unfortunately they barely greet you, you're almost an inconvenience! Sad to see a business go from top notch to less or below average, stripped of the amenities the Lux crowd was used too. I'll stop here. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but i hope that management will fix this. Here's the plus. The salon is clean. The beds are pretty good. The staff is friendly but need more training. Twice I've been and while they claim that there won't be a wait for a specific bed after a steam pod session, I've had to wait in the lobby in a robe. Is this the end of the world? No. Do I have places that I need to be where I it can't wait? Also no. My problem is that you shouldn't promise "no wait" when in actuality, there was a wait. I got out of my infrared on time so I wouldn't be waiting for the next bed. The first time I tried the infrared sauna, they had to come into the room twice to reset it. I cancelled my membership. I waited to post this review after requesting a call from a manager four times. Once with a customer service rep. Once via email to support and twice via the automated message bot. Wish the other salon didn't close because i love the concept of this place, but the three times I've been have been a cluster-f$&k. I gave two stars instead of one because the concept is great and the place is clean. read more

I had a long time membership at Palm Beach Tan and was always disgusted at their poor business practices. When I saw this location of Glo Tanning in Addison I stopped to inquire. I happened to show up close to closing time and was greeted by the sales gal appropriately named Addison. She stayed after normal business hours to answer my questions and show me around. I have been very pleased with everything at Glo Tanning Addison. All staff are very knowledgeable about the services. They are constantly assisting patrons or working to clean and maintain the facility. And it shows. The facility is pristinely clean and organized. There's plenty of safe parking. The monthly cost for the same level of membership at Palm Beach Tan is twice the amount. To me, they provide significantly better services for half the cost. Their customer service is awesome. I've made inquiries on site as well as with corporate and everyone is excellent. Palm Beach Tan purposefully has no customer service. I would encourage everyone interested in Glo Tanning in Addison to join as I did. read more

Ok so I went here because my friend who did a one time walk in had a great experience. My mine was far from great. It began with a 30 minute "sales pitch" from the worker. I really just wanted to use the free coupon, try it out because I have never done it and move forward. But after the 30 to almost 40 minute sales pitch and me clearly not interested and said I just want to try it, I finally got to go on the bed. Before I got into my room, she said "oh I want to ensure my clients have the best experience and not get burned because that happens a lot." Well she told me to lay in for 12 minutes. I knew in my head that felt waayy to long for me as a first timer. But I went along because she is the worker and acted like she knew what she was talking about. Basically yes I got burned and so did my husband. We only laid for 10 minutes. The goal of this review is to tell new people who don't normally do sun beds to only do a 6 minute tan. And maybe try a different salon. One that has more knowledgeable workers. Just because the place is pretty doesn't mean much And seriously a 30 minute "sales pitch" when clearly I said I'm overwhelmed and just wanted to try it and not get a $100 membership. read more
