Everyone, if you like to be golden bronzed for the summer pool season or all year long because you want a natural glow! LUX is the best spot in Dallas! They offer refreshing Champagne or Perrier Sparkling Water to quench your thirst! The staff, especially the Manager Kylen and Amy K, are lovely ladies that know how to keep your glow without burning. They offer a resort-style salon feel with that touch of Dallas Southern Charm and Friendliness. My favorite bed is the Vibra-Shake stand-up bed. It's phenomenal. Nice staff. But the spray tan was awful. Just uneven, and too brown on places I didn't want to be too brown.

I heard about Lux through a friend and went in reluctantly because i had never tanned before. Right away the staff was very friendly and helped ease my nerves. I have seen kylen, rachel and Allison, all of whom are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and work hard to create the best experience possible. Thanks to them i have slowly built up a more proper understanding of everything, and not to mention an amazing tan! I love this place so much. Saw them advertised on Facebook. They offer a guest pass to basically try a bed before you buy a membership.. The location was very hip, trendy and clean. Several beds to choose from as well as different levels of member packages. I came in and tried the sunless versa spa pro and man its way different from when I spray tanned back in the day. They also offer a complimentary glass of champagne or perrier water and cold towels. Ashley was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Even though she needed to leave, she went through every detail to make sure I got the right tan for my wedding day. I will definitely be giving them more of my business. I had a very nice experience at LUX! I shopped around for the best price and highest quality tanning salon, and LUX was it! The Addison and Highland Park locations were both very clean and had friendly, knowledgeable staff members. I was very inexperienced and did not know much about tanning, but the Addison manager Kylin helped me understand what each bed was good for (building a base, getting a lot of color, etc) and put together a "tanning schedule" for me to get nice color leading up to my wedding. I never had to wait to get into a bed and enjoyed the perrier and cool eucalyptus towels on each visit. I would definitely recommend LUX! I think it's true that you get what you pay for with tanning salons, and I felt the price was beyond fair! read more

Honestly such a good experience! I would go here over Planet Tan or Palm Beach any day. Stephani didn't push products on me and got me right into the sunless bed. She took my card and created my account while I tanning. She offered me water or champagne when I arrived and when I was finished. The service and the price is better than that of their competitors. I called before going to the Addison location, and explained that I had never been to a tanning spa, was fair-skinned, and burned easily, hoping to be walked through the process by an expert. I was guided to a unit that I was told had a lower level of radiation. I was also told that the session would last 12 minutes. I had been in the unit for several minutes, and I finally got out because my face was beginning to sting more than what I thought should have been normal. I was extremely red after cutting the session short, and my face in particular was sore. As I was preparing to leave, the attendant advised me that she was mistaken - it was a 15 minute unit. Had I stayed in the unit, I would have ended up in the emergency room with a severe burn, as opposed to the soreness and deep peeling I have endured for the last week. Thanks for the expertise. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is not already seasoned in the practice. read more
