Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a membership here. Once you have it you'll wonder how you did without. I go at least 2-3 times a week to the Houston(Waugh) and coppell location. Customer service is really great. The machines regardless of what you use are all in great shape as well. If you aren't sure what bed to use or want to know the difference between mystic or Versa just ask they will get you started in the right direction. The cocoon and hydration pod are great amenities as well. Go check them out! Really nice owners as well! read more

This establishment felt highly predatory to me. On the two occasions I walked in, interested in doing just a simple tanning bed session, I had a bad experience and ended up leaving without getting my service. First of all, the staff is a bunch of rude teenage girls who act like their parents never taught the social skills and basic common courtesy. They try to hook you into this ridiculous tour of the entire facility and the entirety of its' machines, for... seemingly no good reason but to waste your time and try to sell you on more stuff to take more of your money. I had been there for almost half an hour and they were still giving me their "management told us we have to say this" spiel while I repeatedly expressed that I was in a big hurry and just wanted to do a simple tanning bed session- it's not rocket science. But they refused to listen to me. I guess management told them to ignore customers' requests/wishes in order to focus on just selling more overpriced stuff. They then tried to loop me into a membership of course, which I declined because I don't like the attitude of the front desk girls there. They charge a ridiculously high price for the same thing you could find elsewhere for far less. It's literally a tanning bed that just sits there, there's no reason to charge almost $40 plus an unbelievable $8-10 charge for goggles, which of course they dont provide. I have never in my entire life been to a tanning salon that doesn't provide goggles, and at these prices it's just totally uncalled for. After being condescended by the high schoolers at the front desk both times, I left and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

It's been two years since I've gone into this location. It seems they've gotten a MAJOR upgrade. Lots of new machines, better decorations, cleaner, and better service. My husband both went in for spray tans, and we got a really good deal. Loved how my results turned out! read more

What the heck happened over the last month? Broken equipment, staff couldn't check me in and had to "txt me" when they could. Poor new staff with lackluster training. Long time staff is no longer there. No towels in rooms and not as clean as before. Shortened time in sauna machines where you don't even sweat. Facial lady gone. This place used to be so great and I loved going. It's been turned into a low end salon defiantly not worth anywhere near $70. Peace out! read more

I'm visiting DFW from Dallas from Florida. Went in to Glo tan on 12/4 and 12/16 and tanned for $19.95 (plus tax) charged to my CC. Went in today and and the young lady could not find my information, so I provided it again on their iPad. She tried to sell me membership and I explained that I live in Florida and don't need a membership. She then proceeded to charge me $35.00 for a single tan, when I paid $19.95 before. She got on the phone with a manager and she confirmed the $35.00. I refused the $35.00 fee and left. This is how to ruin a business reputation with this type of customer service. I stumbled on this location and I am so thrilled. The staff is amazing, the bulbs always bright and the beds always well cleaned. They have a new manager whom I think has added a lot of personality and most definitely has incredible customer service. Not to mention, the monthly bed rate is extremely affordable. Been going there for about a year and a half, Renewed my month to month agreement in sept. I called beginning of Nov to freeze my membership, I was out of town taking care of a sick family member. The girl on phone said the manager would email me a form. Weeks go by no email, phone call nothing, but billed again. I called again, was told the same thing. Again no email or phone call back. I called the beginning of Dec. I spoke with Olga who was extremely nice. I told her what happened. She asked if she could call me back she would call the manager. She called back a couple hours later, Said my account was canceled, she spoke with the manager and i didnt have to do the form. Well i was billed again. Again for 3rd time there is no manager there. Girl on phone is very nice. She looks into account. She said "Vaughn" put a note in my account. I assume he is manager or owner. The note was a month to month apparently has t be billed 3 months, and he wasn't making an exception. So i guess a month to month, truly isn't month to month. I guess me going there for approximately 16 months means nothing. And Vaughn doesn't have the common courtesy or respect to call or email his customers back and inform them of the decision. But leaves the girls to deal with it because he is never there when you call. So apparently Vaughn needed my $20 more than I did. So He will never have me as a customer when i return and my roommate is calling to cancel her account. Happy Holidays Vaughn and You are what is wrong with people and society. read more

I don't think I ever wrote a formal review for this place. I joined in 2017 when they first opened the doors and Vaughn, the owner, was an absolute gem. Everyone here made the experience amazing. I don't live in the Coppell area anymore, but I 10000000% recommend this place if you are in the area. I pop in the area now and again, I think I'll probably come in and pay for a session or something when I'm in the area. I do love me some Glo Sun Spa. read more

This location has super fun promotions, and the concierges are knowledgeable, and solid salespeople (but low key). In a world today where spa places are endless, you figure they would be more accommodating and appreciate the business they do get. I was not explained it is not just a 3 month commitment it is 4 months. The 1st month does not count, it was only $20 less because of a prorate. I hardly used this membership due to time and for the 4th month unexpected draft, I wanted my money reimbursed and they refused. It is too bad for me, the consumer. This is closest to me and I will not use for any of the drop on services offered due to poor customer service I would rather drive an extra 5 minutes for a more consumer friendly experience. read more

I enjoy coming to this location of any others but..the New manager isn't ideal nor professional.... The girls have always been so kind and helpful but I seem to not want to show up when the new manager is there. The last time I tanned I watched him clean a bed and there were still butt prints on it so I left. He is like a car sales man and won't leave you alone about buying products. He was gossiping about other employees in front of other customers and I find that to be unprofessional. The nails is a huge turn off as I think it is very tacky for such a nice spa. I am very shocked he was hired on as a manager, let alone allowed to work there. The two blonde girls have always been my favorite and greet me in such a welcoming way. I will make sure to come only when those girls are working. I hope the owner realizes this, as my friends who are also members feel the same and avoid going there specifically when he is working. I tried the service from their ongoing promo.I felt a bit of discrimination maybe because I'm not white. I waited for too long. I was waiting for my turn when the staff came pass at me and let the other girl blond took her turn w/o even asking who came first. So I had to wait another 20 minutes for the 3rd time around because it was the 3rd time they told me to wait for 20 minutes already. I changed my mind on signing up that day. I was pissed w/their messy system. And when it's my turn the guy who made the mistake of my turn in the procedure, though he's quite apologetic of the confusion, he made another not so nice service again. Asking me to be careful because the equipment I will be using is expensive I thought he is concern that I might hit my head w/ the equipment over my face. It is the first time I was asked to be careful NOT because they are concern w/me as their client but more concern with their property. Offensive and very unprofessional. I won't come back. I would rather pay more and be treated right and more kindness than pay less and be treated less. What a shame the location is very convenient for me and the price is much cheaper. But I don't like the way I have been treated. In as much as I would like to sign up, I would want to be a nice and professional service too. Not offensive or different. read more

Only rating this 5 stars because of Mariah! She is AMAZING! Not only is she super friendly with a great attitude, but she's also super helpful. I already have a Flex plan with them, but they are having an Open House right now where all services are 100% free so I came in to check that out. When I originally signed up I felt super confused about what my membership was. Since Mariah made me feel so comfortable I asked her one question about which lotion from the goody bag to use. From there she sensed I didn't know anything about tanning and went on to show me how you can get a cute sticker. As well as a whole bunch of tanning tips! I'm impressed with how the manager, Vaughn, is always present and actively participates in the daily operations of this facility (and really seems to enjoy it!).
