Tracy and her mom Lee have a very clean and nicely decorated nail salon. Tracy does very good work, you can tell that she takes a lot of pride in her work! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Glitter Nails for a few years now. Tracy and Lee are so wonderful to work with. Although they do take walk in appointments, I do recommend making an appointment. I always gave a great experience when I go. Today Tracy came in early as my work schedule has changed so I could get my nails and toes done!

WOW Anybody giving this place 5 stars has never been out to a half decent place. 1) you are trying to manage your way to the front door through the homeless. If I was not with my husband, I would have left 2) NO STERILIZATION being done. I HAD to ASK for CLEAN instruments 3) thickest shellac EVER! so GROSS. looks like 1980's acrylics 4) I got EVERY nail a different shape! 5) Surprisingly, there was enough shellac to paint my cuticles!

I wish I could give this place a better review because the employees are so friendly and the salon is so cute. But unfortunately the tech I had grated the back of my ankle and then tried to act like it was nothing, she tried to keep me from seeing it after asking her to let go of my foot so I could see it twice. Maybe she didn't hear me the first time I don't know. When I said "yeah its cut" she said well removing callous' that's what happens(something to that effect) and I said no you cut the back of my ankle and she said no it's okay. Then when I asked if she had anything to sanitize the cut with she said no and put it back in the dirty foot water. I saw she had a spray bottle of alcohol so I asked her to please use that, which obvs hurt. It still hurts today while trying to walk around work. The pedicure itself was mediocre at best. I picked a color and she said they didn't have that one so she gave me ONE of the things of plastic nails to then choose from. I didn't like any color on there so I just picked one that was as close as I could to the original color. I'm sorry glitter nails, I just feel I have to write an honest review.

What can I say? They do a great job! I just get pedi's and they are so thorough! They really put forth the effort regardless of what price you paid. My daughter gets Acrylics with beautiful designs! They last for a month. Place is nothing much to look at but it's clean and has a nice T.V. I highly recommend. Price is great too!

Went here spur-of-the-moment as a different nail salon was "too busy" for a pedi and boy am I glad I did! I will definitely be back to see Lucy, she was phenomenal!! Callous remover, a nice long foot/calf massage, ugh I feel like a new woman! As soon as I walked in too, I was greeted immediately by a really nice gentleman who got to work quickly on getting the pedicure station ready (adding water and water else they add to the water in the basin) and Lucy was ready and to go as soon as I had picked out my color. You GUYS. Paul. Paul is the absolute BEST tech at this salon. He's personable, pays attention to detail, and always does a flawless job. Another tech did my nails today, didn't push back my cuticles & they looked horrible I asked to have Paul finish/fix them, and he nailed it. I am revising my previous review. This is a WARNING to others. After visiting regularly, at one appt Paul talked me into trying acrylic nails since mine were splitting. As he applied them he kept jamming his long thumbnail under my nails. (He kept his right thumbnail long - I guess for this purpose). When I complained that it hurt, he said he had to break up the glue. Regretfully, it didn't even occur to me how unhygienic his fingernail could be. A few hours after he applied them, my finger tips and around the nails became tender and red. It got worse and worse. The next day, thinking I was having an allergic reaction, I went back and asked him to remove them which he did. As he was working, I noticed something dark under my nails. I asked him if it was fungus and he replied, "dirt". But there was nothing I had been doing that would account for that much dark dirt. When my nails continued to get worse over the weekend, I went to the doctor. I had a serious nail infection and the dark under my nails was dried blood. The doctor put me on antibiotics. My fingertips were so tender and painful that I couldn't even pick up a paper clip and when I bumped them, I was in serious pain. This went on for over a week. When I went back to Glitter Nails, they promised to pay for my doctor appt (which I had to pay in full because of my ins deductible) and the antibiotic. When I tried to collect, they denied it was an infection or that it was their fault and refused to pay. Six months later, my nails have not yet completely recovered. I still have big white spots under my nails. DO NOT USE them if you value your nails. read more

Michelle does the best eyebrow waxing!! Shapes them, and even takes the time to pluck out the gray ones... I have been frustrated with this nail salon because a few times I have made an appointment, calling early in the day, and even coming in, when the owner suggested (let's say 1:00/pm), and then not getting seated until 1:45/pm. That does not fly with me. At the very least, let me know what time it will be, and let me sit down, with the acetone on my nails already, so that when I do finally get started on my manicure, that part of it is already finished. It's not like I have all day to spend in there. Paul rushes the manicure too fast. His wife Michelle is a little more of a perfectionist. But because of my frustration with the appointment vs. the "walk-ins", or maybe it is just plain over-booking, I won't be back. read more

Walking in was a little scary(on the outside) but once you get through the doors it's an escape to another oasis! The atmosphere was so relaxing(especially the music). I got a pedi and it was magnificent. The lady who did my toes did not speak any English but she did amazing job! They have SNS aka "dip" nails which is exciting and I will be returning for another relaxing experience. read more

Had a pedicure a few weeks ago. Chairs are new and comfortable, prices are reasonable. Short massage, limited nail art ability. Sadly the most memorable aspect of my visit was how HOT it was in the salon. We'd barely broken 100 degrees and it was overly stuffy, to the point I was sweating. I'm looking for a new shop close to home with the same standards of my old place near Metro Center. I've since had another pedicure at a salon near PV mall that left me underwhelmed. Looking forward to giving Glitter Nails another try. read more

I live in San Diego all sumer but I don't go to any nail salon over there because nobody can do the way Michael fix my nail. Also I love Kim too. Very short staffed, my sister and I went in each at the same time for a gel manicure and it took 2 hours to complete. At the end upon paying they did not give me the correct amount of change back and tried short handing me. In addition they spoke very poor English. Would not recommend. read more

I spent $104.00 here for two pedicures, i was over charged $208.00 I swiped my card once and she said it was declined and clearly I new it did not so she said they took zelle I sent her zelle that same moment I checked my bank app and showed her The card actually went through and she said not on my end she clearly showed me the recipt and it stated there was a 208 dollar transaction. manager said check ur bank in 3-5 days it should be back in there. I checked and nothing the transaction went through I called the following Tuesday and she said oh I'm so sorry check bank 5-7 days I will refund it. I checked bank again no refund. I came to salon and she stated I need to see the transactions I showed her both transactions zelle and debit card. She said no don't remember when clearly she was seeing it on my bank being reflected. She refused to fix the issue and said call ur bank and have them fix it. Clearly I have been scammed for an extra $104.00 dollars in total i was charged $208.00 for two pedicures Right!!! I have disputed it with my bank and I am happy to say I will never come back here again. i Made a mistake choosing this place. read more

The staff at Glitter Nails and Spa are amazing. I love having Tracy as my nail technician. They have a variety of colors whether you use gel or traditional polish. The pedicures have a lot of massage time in them and the staff pays a close attention to detail. They really care about their clients and always address me by my name when I come in. :) read more

A decent nail salon for a hole-in-the-wallish strip mall! It's next to Noodle & Rice and across from the gas station. It's clean inside and I was able to walk in and get a much-needed pedicure very quickly. $20 included a nice, long, leg massage and the pedicurist, Michelle, did an excellent job on my toes! She wasn't too rough on my soles, either. Nice environment. Fair price. I'd recommend this place even though it looks like it wouldn't be much from the outside. read more

Great nail salon and the owners are awesome! I've been going to Paul for years for my nails. Won't go to anyone else......except for his wife Michelle. They both do great work and they are always working so hard. My nails always look great. The shop is always clean and its in a great location. Both Michelle and Paul are such nice people. I always recommend Glitter to everyone. As I said, I've been going to them for years even before they started their own shop. Have never had any issues and never anything but kindness and great service. Everyone I've recommended has come away very satisfied as well. Not sure what the issue was with the previous bad review but, neither I or anyone I've ever referred to Glitter have never experienced anything but great service. I would highly recommend both Paul and Michelle. read more

I got SNS done for the first time. I don't think they have much experience with this type of product. The color selection was very minimal. Paul was very rough when he filed my nails, and nicked my skin on two fingers. My skin around all of my nail beds was very tender for several days. I got the manicure done last Friday and by Monday, it had already started to chip. They were all very nice, but I will never go back. Its such a shame, because it is very close to my house. read more

That is an example of Tiffany nails customer service policies in a nutshell. Just as background, let me mention that I have been coming to this location for years before the new owners acquired the business, so I was happy with the service I received in the past. I also used to go regularly for their top of line "Deluxe Pedicure" and manicure with the new owners. Then last month, I was made aware of my unimportance as a customer. Apparently, it doesn't matter how many extra services you order from their menu, their main concern is the amount of time they spends on a pedicure -- no more than one hour, whether you're paying for the basic pedicure requiring fewer steps, or the deluxe pedicure requiring several more services-- it really doesn't matter. All Pedicures are one hour. That's because their priority is not the customer's experience. The rule in their head is "a pedicure is no more than one hour long, and that's what's most important to Tiffany Nails. And their "customer last" policy also extends to your time. Even if you make an appointment, they are almost always at least 15 to 20 minutes late, and it has been several times that I've had to come back at another time altogether for their convenience. That does not fly when you have several other commitments! Sometimes it's just not worth the effort to be a regular customer in a place where you're not appreciated. So after nearly 20 years of going to Tiffany nails, they just permanently lost a good client. There are plenty of other businesses that truly appreciate your patronage.

I have a feeling this is my new go-to place when I need a pedicure in the future. I only was planning on a Basic Pedicure service today, which included nail and cuticle care, massage, hot stone and towel, and polish (though I did not need the polish). There was an add-on for exfoliation scrub or callus care if I wanted either, and also an extra cost for gel polish. The Desert Pedicure includes both the exfoliation scrub and callus care in addition to the basic pedicure. The Desert Deluxe Pedicure includes the Desert Pedicure plus rejuvenating cooling masque and extended massage. The DNS Ultimate Pedicure includes the Desert Deluxe Pedicure plus refreshed & revitalized (infused with organic virgin olive oil deeply hydrate and soothe skin), detoxifying sea salt soak, callus remover gel, exfoliating sugar scrub, nourishing gel masque, hydrate cucumber treatment, and silky butter cream. For today, I stuck with the basic pedicure though I may try an add-on in the future. When I sat down in a chair to soak my feet, I was offered a still or sparkling water. There was a nice ambiance with soothing music, and I was sitting in a massage chair. There were fun nail or nail polish related quotes on the wall. My nail tech checked on how I was doing throughout. There were 14 people being worked on at a time, which was impressive, yet there were many empty chairs, so they could work on a lot more. I saw them put up special pillows for kids who were getting nail work done. I appreciated afterwards when I was paying that they had a 10% off promotion when paying with cash. The Desert Nail Spa has two nearby locations: Kierland (Greenway) and Tatum. hey are open on weekdays from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. They first opened in Tempe in 1998 and have expanded to other locations across the valley. They strive to integrate innovation into the nail salon industry. There is also an online booking system where you can request specific nail technicians or a specific gender of a nail tech and make an appointment in advance. The price of services is also listed. I got a Cat Eye gel pink, which totaled up to around $45 (it would've been $10 cheaper if it weren't Cat Eye and just a regular gel)! My nail tech Anny did such a wonderful job, I will be requesting her next time too. She was very gentle in the removal of my past gel -- I feel like I've had nail techs who kind of just chip away at the gel and my natural nail. But Anny was super gentle and was very detail-oriented with the clean-up and shaping. My nails looked so fresh and clean before she even painted it. The final results of her work are in the pictures I attached! One thing to note is that they do not accept Apple Pay, and I ended up tipping my nail tech through Venmo since I believe they only take cash. Total I probably spent $65ish with tip. It's been a week since going and my nails haven't chipped or anything, and the paint's still in tact. Love this place!

Next, she didn't shape them in any way or ask how I wanted the shape, she didn't put a tip on 3 of my nails until I brought it up and she got audibly upset that I brought it up late (when I mentioned on the phone I needed tips) I didn't think she was really gonna let me walk out with 3 nails all different lengths but ig she was. And even after that my nails weren't the same length.. The French tips were different levels of thickness and messy on some, she used silver chrome on my right hand and noticed it wasn't right, attempted to wipe it off and go over it, but it just left a line of silver on each finger on my right hand. And then she ended up putting a full acrylic nail on 3 fingers instead of just a tip, which now affects all my other sets bc the nail is clear and polish doesn't sit well on top of it. Overall I was just upset with the way she handled the situation and i didn't want to speak up about anything else so I just went home and cried

We came here on the whim while staying at the resort down the street and these ladies did not disappoint! From the prompt start at our appointment time, to the above and beyond desire to make our first time special even though we're from out of town made us feel truly pampered. Unlike most nail salons that rush through the service, especially the massage part, we felt like goddesses as they took their time through each step. I wish I had a Glitter Nails back in Palm Beach! You will definitely want to check out this new nail shop tucked in a small strip mall by the QT just east of Cave Creek on Cactus. The service is top notch and my pedicure looks gorgeous. Everything is brand new and super neat. Sit back and relax with your cold bottle of water and enjoy your massage chair.
