What can improve is the establishment being open until 8 pm and not 7 pm used to come in high school and now as an adult wouldnt recommened coming after 6 pm

I stopped in today get a simple slice of pizza to take home. They did t have a pre made slice that I wanted so they offered to make me a personal size pizza with my choice of toppings. The lady working the front, Laura, was incredibly pleasant and eager to help. My pizza was fabulous and chatting with her made the ten minute wait to fly by.

Very disappointed with Giuseppe's. I'm a loyal customer but not anymore. Whoever is taking the pizza orders needs a lot more training. We ordered extra cheese and our pizza had barely any cheese on it and was under cooked. The person taking our order I had to give him my name 3 times. They don't deliver unless you have the delivery service app which I don't AND they aren't open on Sundays so I wonder how long they will survive with other pizza places that deliver a better quality pizza with the extra cheese, they deliver, and open on Sundays.

Our friends in Denver love this place and they were excited to share it with us. The pizza was filling, super tasty and systematically devoured by several hungry teenagers and adults. 10/10 would order from them, again. Kudos on the GF pizza for my husband, too!

I really WANTED to like this place! And support my local neighborhood Italian Reataurant but their Gluten Free crust had no taste. AND they burned the edges. I ordered a 9" sausage, canadian bacon, black olive and tomato pizza and it did not deliver. I added garlic salt and it helped some but I shouldnt have to do that. Their GF pizza was a big disappointment

I finally got to try it with my friend, and we had a great experience. The pasta was super flavorful, and the portions were absolutely huge. I loved my gnocchi so much! We split a Caesar salad (again huge portion for $10), which was a great starter. Definitely had that distinct anchovy taste that I feel other restaurants shy away from. I loved it. Service was very attentive. Our server, Alex, was kind and checked in on us often. The entire staff was so hospitable from the host at the entrance, to the server, to the others who kept checking in to make sure we had a great evening. The ambience was great. Cozy, clean, very Italian feeling. The restaurant had people in it, and it hit the sweet spot of busy but not overly crowded or loud, especially for a Tuesday night. Parking is on the street since the restaurant is on 6th Ave, but I easily found a spot and walked over. Happy to return!

I think the first couple of times I came here before the pandemic were best. Although, I haven't been back in quite some time so I'd definitely give it at least another shot again in the future. The most recent time, I just remember the bread tasting stale. I didn't like my eggplant parmesan very much, had it so much better at basically every other place I've had it, and a shrimp appetizer was sweet, which I don't want my anticipated savory food tasting sweet. Cute spot and they are often very busy on weekends.

Great spot for a nice dinner out in LoDo…read more Tavernetta is located right next to Union Station in the LoDo area of downtown. Parking can be a little tricky, with some paid street parking and paid garages nearby. We opted for the valet, which is right at the restaurant. They validate it, bringing the price down from $20 to $15, which was convenient. It's a great spot for a nice dinner out, whether it's a date night or a night with friends. We started with the focaccia with cacio e pepe butter, and the butter was incredible. It was salty, but quite tasty. We also had the burrata, which is cheese served over focaccia breadcrumbs with a little sauce, and it paired great with the focaccia. I had a couple of martinis that went nicely with the meal, while the rest of the party enjoyed glasses of white wine. For my entree, I went with the rigatoni, which I'd heard was one of their staples. It was great. The serving size isn't too big, so I didn't get too full, but it was just enough. Overall, a very tasty dish. My fiancée got the cavatelli, a more seasonal item, and I got to try a couple of bites. It was also really good. For dessert, we had the semifreddo, a milk chocolate dessert that I honestly don't know how to describe, but it was incredible. I have a huge sweet tooth, and it was a great way to end the night, especially if you enjoy chocolate. Our waiter was great and the service was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The ambiance is definitely upscale, very stylish and modern. It was quite loud when we visited, just because it was so busy. I imagine the open kitchen might add some to that as well. Our menus said "Happy Anniversary " on them, and I thought that was a nice touch. They also brought us some sparkling wine to toast with. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the cocktails, wines and food offerings. She had a lot of suggestions for vegetarian options and modifications that could be made to various menu items to accomodate different dietary restrictions. I ordered the Mushroom risotto, and it was heavenly. We also had some burrata and focaccia bread for starters, and both were incredible. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. Next time! I absolutely recommend Tavernetta for a nice dinner in the Union Station area.

However, I have dined here 5 times over the last 12 months and each time I have experienced 1) servers that neglect the solo diner and 2) lazy bartenders. All five times I have gone here, to both eat and drink, I have been sat at the bar. I normally enjoy the experience of sitting at a restaurant's bar, however the experiences at Spuntino have been unpleasant. 1) When you sit at the bar, they have a server attend to you instead of the bartender standing right in front of you. This would be fine except the server still has a full section in another portion of the restaurant and they tend to forget about their customers sitting at the bar. All five times I've ate here I've constantly had to flag down my server to order, get the check, have my drink that's sitting at the bar handed to me, order another round, etc., which greatly takes away from the dining experience. This leads into the lazy bartenders issue. 2) Despite sitting in front of the bartender as they make your drink, they refuse hand you your drink once it's made and instead will walk a longer distance to place your drink on the service well where it sits until your server comes to deliver it, which in most cases has taken 5-10 minutes. So you're sitting there staring at your drink watering down because the bartenders are too lazy to just hand it to you even though the drink ticket shows that the drink is for a customer sitting at the bar. There have been a handful of occasions where I've had to flag down another staff member to ask them to deliver my drink because my server hasn't come behind the bar and the bartenders will completely ignore you when you try to get their attention. I experienced these problems the first time I dined at Spuntino, and I've tried several times again hoping the experience would be different, but each time it has been the same which has been extremely disappointing and ultimately deterred me from wanting to dine and spend my money here.
