I stopped by yesterday around 1pm and it was pretty busy with a fairly long line. Thankfully it moved quickly and I didn't have any issues snagging a table outside. They gave me a number for my quiche and brought it out to me but gave me my pie and latte basically right away. The inside is quite charming although a bit on the small side. I would go earlier to make sure you snag a table if you're set on eating there. There's no WiFi. They ask that you put your dirty dishes and silverware in their designated bins at the end of your meal. My latte was decent and the pie crust on my pie and on my quiche were excellent. Some of my breakfast potatoes were a tad undercooked.

Georgie's is indeed a cafe... on a corner... and it's quite cute! All the staff were great and our food and drinks made to order. This has been on my list for a while so it was nice to stop by. They have a decent selection of drinks and food items. The baked goods looked amazing, but we did not try them on this visit. The roasted tomato Benedict and dirty chai latte were great! The cortado and cranberry cheddar grilled cheese were just ok. It was also quite pricey for 2 entrees and 2 coffees... it came to $60 and that's a bit much for breakfast. I would return for a coffee and pastry next time and skip the food.

I got the Spinach Florentine Eggs Benedict, and it was incredible (5/5)! It was the best eggs Benedict I have had! Great flavor, and the English muffins were crunch on the outside but soft on the inside, which was a nice touch! The side potatoes were also good (4/5). The staff is friendly and nice, and the cafe has a good energy to it (4/5). I look forward to trying other items!

I've heard about this place but haven't had the chance to visit. So here we are on a very rainy Sunday morning... I found myself in Shadyside so I decided to check out Georgie's! It was easy to find as was the street parking. This cafe is so cute! There is indoor and outdoor seating. When I stepped inside, the cafe was completely full but there was no one in line to order. I placed a to-go order of hot chocolate, a breakfast sandwich, and a cinnamon roll. The hot chocolate is creamy and rich. Perfect for a dreary day! My egg sandwich was hot and delicious! The egg soufflé on the sandwich is top notch! I haven't tried the cinnamon roll yet, but the cashier said it was a good choice, so who am I disagree? lol anyways, I will def come back here for some delectable treats! Ps- they no longer offer WiFi. They encourage patrons to just sit and enjoy your food and then leave to make room for other patrons. So if you're looking for a cafe to work from, this is not the place. But it's still worth stopping in for a quick bite and/or drink!

This is cute little cafe in Shadyside on Walnut street. I went on a Thursday morning and I found street parking pretty easily. I ordered my usual, iced vanilla coffee with oat milk & it was good! I also got a chocolate croissant that was also tasty. I wish they had WiFi but I understand that they don't want guests taking up tables for hours. I wish I would have known about that beforehand!

A classic weekend spot for me! I'll stop here for a quick bite, coffee run, or sit down brunch. There are very little tables inside and some seating outside but be aware that you may not get a seat on busier days. All of their baked goods are delicious but my most recent visit was just a butter croissant and matcha. As a matcha lover, I'm a big fan that they hand whisk each order of matcha and I typically enjoy it with their house lavender syrup. Coffees won't take long at all but make sure you emphasize whether or not you want it hot or iced, I've had that mix up a couple of times.

chewy corn cookie with honey buttercream / lemon meringue pie / latte

What a cozy, wonderful place! Immediately you walk in and are greeted by a variety of scones, pies, cookies, and loaf cakes baked in the cafe. The menu is a simple one-page-that is easy to scan, though it's hard to choose between the eggs benedict, french toast, and breakfast sandwich. There was a constant flow of patrons on Tuesday morning, but there was pretty quick service to order. Their cafe sandwich was delicious in in every way: extremely light souffle egg, bouncy perfectly toasted english muffin, chewy bacon, roasted tomatoes and aioli added such wonderful flavor. I also tried their corn cookie -- it was buttery and chewy, and honey buttercream was sweet and paired well. The lemon meringue custard was a bit lumpy, but the flavor was good. The toasted meringue tasted like honey, and there was generous amount of it. The latte had great strong coffee flavor, good ratio of milk. Definitely pay a visit to this wonderful spot!

GET THE BREAKFAST SANDWICH. It's not the cheapest, or the biggest, but it's absolutely delicious. The muffin melts in your mouth. Worth it to add bacon. The people there are so nice and attentive. Cute atmosphere inside and out, but not a ton of seating - best for groups of 2-3.

Georgie's Corner Cafe should not be slept on! They serve responsibly sourced and locally roasted coffee and espresso, bake scratch-made pies, pastries, and cookies, and offer some of the best, most thoughtfully crafted breakfast and lunch dishes. You can truly taste the love and incredible flavors in every meal. Their goal is to provide the local community with a warm, inviting space to gather, dine, work, and create together--and they do just that. The interior is aesthetically pleasing--simple, modern, and crisp--while the outdoor seating is perfect for warm days in Shady Side. I tried a few items, and everything was fantastic! Drink: I had a hot latte with maple brown sugar--just the right amount of sweetness, and it totally hit the spot. Bakery: Their new coconut toffee cupcake was delightful--white chocolate, toffee chips, and toasted coconut mixed into the batter, topped with coconut buttercream, toasted coconut, and adorable little chocolate eggs. I also tried the honey butter corn cookie--a buttery corn cookie topped with honey and buttercream--OMG, wow! Food: The chicken Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, with grilled chicken, romaine, parmesan cheese, herbed croutons, and Caesar dressing. But my absolute favorite was the asparagus & ricotta toast--homemade focaccia toasted with fresh ricotta, sumac-spiced asparagus, lemon zest, and crispy shallots. The staff is extremely sweet and friendly, and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this spot to everyone!

This is a super cute cafe in Shadyside! I felt like I was in a cafe somewhere in Europe. The butter croissant was the perfect flaky to buttery ratio and the cortado was delicious as well. The food came out relatively fast, despite it being busy. The cold brew coffee did curdle a bit, but otherwise tasted good. I want to come back at some point and try some of the desserts on the menu.

    Cortado and early grey latte

I really like their breakfast sandwich (not a runny egg though) and their toasts are also good. The earl grey latte had a pleasant flavor. I recommend stopping in and trying some of their baked goods as the shop is adorable.

    Sticky buns

Yummy brunch with tasty homemade baked goods and delicious egg items. Everything was hot except the sticky buns that we didn't ask to have warmed ( missed the sign). Chai latte was mostly foamed milk..but when they remade it there was more flavor.... The barista said they usually make it 1/2 milk and 1/2 chai. The cafe has outdoor seating and inside every seat was full during the day on a Friday... With a steady stream of people picking up carry out . They cater too!! Great option for your best breakfast, coffee break or brunch gathering!

This cafe is rly cute vibes. On the corner of the street, people shuffling in and out. Flowers on the table. My beautiful girlfriend across from me : 3!! We sat here after church with a cold brew (ok), pumpkin spice latte (good), and a pumpkin praline pie slice (super super delicious) and we yapped and held hands and did QT and it felt like we were the only two people in the world. rly nice date spot, nice to walk around the fall leaves in the neighborhood afterwards also.

Great place for coffee and a light breakfast. The seating outside is dog friendly. It is, however, a bit pricey.

It has a roastery, bakery, and several cafes in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and it provides training and equipment to other businesses. My husband and I were customers of this cafe in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood one time. The menu listed coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, hot cocoa, cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, etcetera. A refrigerator contained yogurts, juices, oat milk, and other bottled beverages. Shelves held bags of coffees and kettles. Employees kindly took my husband's order and payment and promptly made our beverages. Some tables and chairs were inside the cafe, so we sat down to enjoy our beverages. Other customers were using the dining area to read, spend time with family and friends, and work on laptops. I rate the Chai Latte has 5 stars and the holiday Sugar Plum Latte as 4.5 stars. We enjoyed their flavors. Each beverage was 12 ounces, and their total price was $11 plus tax and tip. I did notice that the cafe was very humid because of the cold weather outside and the many customers inside. The windows had much condensation. I wonder if a dehumidifer would reduce the indoor humidity.
