    Fig Latte
    Cameron

Amazing little cafe for drinks and a wide delicious variety of food and pastries from local spots around Pittsburgh! The homemade syrups are the real standout with fun specials too! The fig brown sugar and sage syrup was so unique and delicious, all of them sounded amazing though! It's a small cafe with outdoor seating and waiting area, definitely crowded on the weekends so be ready to wait for a bit. They also have pastries from Pigeons Bagel and sandwiches from Pittsburgh Sandwich Society, which the sausage egg and cheese sandwich was absolutely amazing, one of the best I've ever had. This is such a good local spot, definitely recommend!

This was my 1st visit here. The staff was above and beyond kind. They all were interacting with customers, holding the door open for people coming in, giving recommendations, etc. I did come on a Saturday and it was busy - there was a line of about 4 people ahead of me but they were moving super quickly and keeping up with it well. There were no spots in the parking lot to park but I was able to find street parking. I didn't try any of the pastry or food items but I did notice they had vegan-friendly pastries which I love to see! It is pretty tight inside and I wasn't sure where to stand to wait for my drink but it was worth it. The fig / brown sugar / sage latte was an incredible flavor combination. I believe it might have been a seasonal flavor. The spot is super cute. Love a good latte art as well!

I stopped into Spigolo over the weekend after hearing all the hype about it. Personally, I did not feel it lived up to the hype. The parking situation is a nightmare. There are very few spots in their lot, so be prepared to pay for street parking. I ordered a large iced coffee with caramel and two bacon egg and cheese sandwiches to go. The coffee was burnt, and the caramel did not mask the flavor. This was really disappointing. I should have checked my bag before I left, but I didn't think two of the same item would be messed up so badly. I opened the wrappers to find one sandwich with sausage and no bacon and the other with sausage and bacon but smothered with ketchup. The food is quite expensive for the portion sizes, so I was really disappointed to see that no care was put into order accuracy. I probably won't be back unless someone feels really strongly about going. The quality does not match the price. Seating is also pretty limited, so it's not the best place to sit and work. The outdoor seating area is cute, but you likely won't be able to get a table if you go on a weekend.

Adorable little coffee shop that stands out in an area with several nearby options. The inside is fairly small but has great vibes, some bench seating against the wall and a few tables. When the weather is good, there's a sizable patio outside with an ordering window. Great menu and lots of good food from partner shops like Driftwood Oven and Pittsburgh Sandwich Society. Excellent service too!

Wonderful little coffee shop! Excellent coffee and food selections featuring Pittsburgh favorites like Redhawk Coffee Roasters and Pittsburgh Taco Boys. They occasionally have local flower bouquets for sale as well! Lattes are perfectly hot, service is great, and the patio space is inviting. Check it out next time you're in the area!

This is such an adorable gem in the Edgewood neighborhood! I stopped on a Saturday morning when a local scone bakery had a popup going on outside. The space inside is tight but their patio area is adorable and they have a window to provide orders to customers out there. My cold brew was great and so reasonably priced. They also sell burritos, which a lot of people seemed to be ordering, and a large variety of baked goods and treats from other local bakeries. I'll definitely be back.

Super cute neighborhood coffee shop! So happy to have something like this in Edgewood. We're very lucky. The employees are so kind and inclusive. I always see lots of people here both indoor and outdoor, dogs, kids, etc. Family friendly coffee shop, no coffee snobs. Cute inside, small but nice, they sell nice mugs, delicious coffee, fruit juice (fresh pressed) and baked goods/treats. I love their matcha latte

Spigolo, a new coffee shop in Edgewood. Located in the cutest neighborhood, easily accessible by foot or drive. Cute, quaint little house, serving delicious coffee drinks, teas, and small bites. Open Tuesday through Friday's 7a-5p, Saturday 8a-4p and Sunday 8a-2p, they have a takeaway window, super nice and convenient for an on the go order. They also have the cutest outdoor patio area for seating! They use a selection of beans from Redhawk Coffee Roasters, a Pittsburgh based coffee roaster!

This quaint coffee shop was worth a bit of a drive. The shop itself is small but cute, though parking and seating is very limited. We visited on a weekend so there was a long line to order, but our drinks were made quickly. The people working there seemed sweet, and they had a variety of pastries and drink options including chai and hot chocolate for non coffee-drinkers. I believe they had a selection of different teas as well. I got the vanilla iced latte (half-sweet) and it was perfect! Smooth and not bitter at all. If you manage to get seating outdoors, you can enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

This coffee shop is located right on South Braddock Avenue in Regent Square and has both an outdoor ordering window and an indoor space. Since my wife and kids were waiting in the car and the sign said the window was served first, I decided to go that route. Because of that, there is not much more to say about the space itself other than I ordered from the sidewalk through a window. For my coffee I went with a large blueberry latte which I had seen recommended on Yelp. My wife went with an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte. Both drinks were ready within a couple of minutes and I was quickly on my way. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our coffees. The coffee itself was strong, bold and present. The syrups were flavorful and well balanced so they came through more on the finish and lingered nicely. They were not overly sweet and added a nice layer of flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our coffees, so it is an easy return for us.

Since we were not in a rush, the weather was nice, and there were a few tables outside, we decided to wait it out. In the meantime, we ordered two madeleines, which were beautifully baked with a light orange flavor and were definitely the highlight of the visit. We took a walk around the neighborhood and came back at 11:30, only to find a limited number of "pescatarian" sandwiches while the ham and butter sandwiches would not be ready until noon. At that point, we decided to give up on the sandwich plan. Overall, I would still come back because the bakery itself was charming and the madeleines were excellent, but the timing around sandwich availability was frustrating and worth knowing ahead of time.

For my coffee this morning I went with a butter beer cold brew while my wife went with an iced Almond Joy latte. The menu described mine as cold brew with butterscotch syrup and cheesecake sweet cream. My wife's was described as just like the candy bar with dark chocolate and coconut topped with coconut flakes. My coffee actually ended up tasting pretty good. The butterscotch tasted somewhat similar to caramel but the cold brew was definitely the star. It was rich and strong which I always appreciate. The cheesecake sweet cream was also a nice addition as it was sweet like you would expect but also had a bit of tartness that reminded me of actual cheesecake. My wife also enjoyed her coffee and especially liked the combination of chocolate, coconut and coffee flavors. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our drinks and I would definitely be interested in trying some of the pastries next time.
