The location is in a hectic little corner of Georgetown, but the moment I walked into the lobby it was clear that this place made an effort to be clean, professional, and hospitable. The customer lounge is accommodating with plenty of power and usb outlets, snacks, water, coffee, and WiFi. As they worked on my vehicle they were up front and transparent about all pricing, pointed out other issues to bring to my attention, but were never pushy or up-selling about any of the additional maintenance recommended for my vehicle. A new battery for a BMW is not cheap. I knew this going in. But I felt good about my experience at Finesse and that my car was in expert hands. Would recommend for anybody owning a luxury vehicle that needs work.

I did a brief search on my phone for a Mercedes shop and found Finesse. A quick call later and I had new lug nuts ordered. I was taken aback by how friendly the person was who helped me out and how easy they made it. Quite a relief. I received a call a week later to tell me the nuts were there and I made my new tires appointment, and throughout finesse made it easy. They told me I could come down anytime and they would put the new lug nuts on for me at no charge, which meant I could make the tires appointment any time. I can tell you this was a new experience for me - in the past I generally felt at the mercy of the shop and the particular folks who were working that day. At finesse I felt like I was in good hands. Their relaxed atmosphere, the amazing customer lounge with snacks and coffee - very welcoming. The communication was clear and helpful throughout. I will be taking my car to Finesse in the future, that is for certain. Had I known about Finesse, I could have called them first for the tires themselves and saved myself the trouble. A true gem in Georgetown, this should be your first call.

My major gripe is they left grease and dirt marks all over the headliner and ripped the center console cover, expected better care to be taken, will likely look for another shop for any future repairs needed.

I was looking for a shop at least to take a look at my car, but after trying hard for 3 weeks, I didn't find anyone. One of my friends recommended Chau's to me. I called explained the situation. First, Dennis hesitated as it might not be worth repairing. I begged him to at least take a look at the photos. He agreed. After sending him photos by email, he responded within an hour that he thought it would be worth repairing but he would have to find out whether the parts were available. He asked me to give him some time to find out. Two days later, he contacted me that he had found all the necessary parts and that he gave me an estimate of repair price. The repair price was so close to the insurance company's quote, which most repair shops had told me that it was impossible. Since my friend recommended Chau's, I decided to let Chau's do it. Dennis kept me informed the status of the repair, and the repair was done within the time he had promised. When I went to pick up the car, I was surprised and delighted to find it like brand new condition. The body work was pretty, and all the mechanic issues were fixed. The price was still the same as quoted. I am very happy and satisfied. I would highly recommend Chau's.

I took my car in for an estimate for services as my car was having difficulties starting and I suspected it either needed new brakes or rotors or both. I thanked him and had estimates done elsewhere as well to make sure I found the best deal I could as I'm disabled and on a fixed income, and I let this guy know this. The quote ended up being quite high compared to other shops. Thankfully a friend of mine who lives in Oregon, who is a mechanic offered to come up and work on it for the day after finding out what I was quoted. After my friend finish the job on the brakes, starter, and replacing the sparkplugs, headed back to Oregon as he needed to get back home for work. I then realized that he had mistakenly forgotten to put one of the hubcaps back on, no big deal. He had also told me before he left that I would need to have one of the sparkplug boots adjusted as it wasn't seated properly and hadn't brought a proper tool to reseat the boot, as he hadn't anticipated this happening. He would have done it but he was on limited time to get the car done and get back to Oregon for work the next day. Okay again, no big deal. I was grateful he could do the work for 1/2 the price I would have paid at Dan's Auto Repair. So I thought no biggie, I'll take it to Dan's and have these two minor things done, which should have cost no more than $50 for the 10 minutes it took for him to do it. Well, I took the car to Dan's, was told sure, they could do the repair and that it would take perhaps 10 or 15 minutes. Thinking it was only going to cost no more than $50 for such little time and effort, and it literally only did end up taking 10 to 15 minutes, was charged $100! I was rudely and condescendingly, flat out told, the reason why he was charging me so much was as a punishment for having had the work done elsewhere and having to clean up someone else's mess. I had considered making this shop my primary shop for car repairs, but after the way I was treated by this guy (Taller Asian man), this obviously will not be happening. I have and will be letting people know, to stay away from this place as they over charge and are very unprofessional, condescending and flat out very rude! This man knew, I was in a financial bind, and "Punished me" for having found someplace within my budget. Please don't take your car here if you wanted be treated with kindness and compassion. I wish I would have read other reviews before going here, there are a lot of other very bad experiences as well. Lesson learned.
