It took two technicians from a different company to diagnose that the compressor was the issue. Those techs told me to just buy a new refrigerator as their company sells appliances. Since I have a good quality KitchenAid side-by-side refrigerator from 2005 and the parts were still available I decided to contact Appliance Fixers. They sent a tech out the next day to diagnose the issue and were able to get the part from their local warehouse and install it within a couple days. Both techs were very polite and knowledgeable. Replacing the compressor and adding Freon was a major repair and took about 3 hours and cost around $1,300. Hopefully the new compressor will last many more years and save a quality appliance from the landfill.

Evan came out the next morning, replaced the drain pump to get our washer working well again. And I asked him to check out drier duct because it had been working poorly. Long story short, all of our laundry issues were resolved and the whole thing was a very pleasant experience. Would 100% work with Evan and Appliance Fixers again. Great stuff.
