Scheduling was quick and easy and the technician was out the very next morning. First, the technician arrived early in the time window given. He got right to work and quickly diagnosed the problem, and he also identified 2 more (low cost) components which had wear and needed to be replaced on a preventive basis to avoid a 2nd service call later. He fully cleaned the inside of the dryer, replaced the parts, fully tested, and completed the work in good time leaving everything clean and in full working order. Everyone was very courteous and helpful through the whole process. We can highly recommend Appliance Fixers and we add our 5 star (we would give them 10 if we could) review to everyone elses. I'm so glad I contacted Appliance Fixers for my Whirlpool washing machine. I already knew it was likely the pump, because the error message on the machine read "drn", and the water in the tub would not drain. Evan's arrival was slightly delayed, but I was kept informed every step of the way- even when just down the street. Evan was polite professional, efficient, and made sure the work area was clean before his departure (even wore booty covers over his shoes). He found my tiny drill bit, broken and lodged in the drain. (Gotta do a better job of checking those pockets ;) )! Cost was near the upper end, but not unexpected, he tried hard to find the other half of the drill bit. Trouble comes in 3's, so I'm keeping his magnetic card within easy reach! These guys were fantastic! I had a tricky over-the-stove microwave installation that even the original store refused to take on. They got back to me right away, were totally upfront about pricing and what the job would involve, and then just delivered. They showed up exactly on time, got to work within seconds of walking in, and didn't stop until it was done. Super efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. When they finished, they made sure everything was spotless -- and even insisted on loading the old, heavy microwave into my car, which definitely wasn't part of the job. Dan was the first to respond and offered to come out that evening to check out our oven which was refusing to stay at temperature. He arrived early and got to work right away. The oven for whatever reason decided that it wanted to work properly but Dan stucks with it and tried several different things to troubleshoot. In the end, he reassured us that we weren't crazy and gave us some good advice which was to hope that we didn't need the $300 replacement part but to have him order the part if if it happened again and then gave his card so we can contact him. Super special top-notch recommendation! Appliance Fixers found someone to come to my home on a Sunday (!) when my stove stopped functioning the day of my big annual Solstice party!! I was in a panic and he arrived within two hours of my call. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. Because my stove needs a part that isn't available, he had to put everything back in place, and the agency only charged me the minimum price. Fortunately my boyfriend has two cookstoves so he can rescue me for my party. I called Appliance Fixers yesterday with help on a track install on my Kitchenaid dishwasher. They were available for that sam afternoon to provide this service. They provided a fee quote on the phone and arrived as scheduled. the service provider, Albert was great. He was friendly and professional and was able to install the track timely. He was carful not to damage the appliance and the surronding area in my kitchen. The final cost was as quoted on the phone. I would definately hire this company again for any aapliance repair. Don't waste your time calling around, Appliance Fixers are fast, good at what they do and they are reasonable. My clothes dryer wasn't heating up and I called at 7 pm and they were at my door at 8 am the next morning. Evan my tech was knowledgeable, respectful and diagnosed the issue, finished the repair in an hour. It's a Samsung dryer and I wasted 30 mins of my time calling their support and still waiting 24 hours later to get a call back from the repair company they suggested! my heating element needed to be replaced and with the service call the cost is similar to other repair companies. read more

Super great communication, fast replies and response. It was a challenging job, and we even offered to just have him stop, but he persevered and was successful! This job entailed taking apart a newer GE All-in-One. During cleaning of the vent with a shop vac (by me), the attachment fell inside the skinny dryer vent and into the machine, preventing it from running without damage. To get to it, the entire top of the machine, along with all the electronics and heat pump, had to be removed. Extremely satisfied with the results, customer service, and attitude. These guys go above and beyond. I initially had a problem with my freezer leaking. The technician came and showed me that I had not closed the door properly. He then offered to do complete maintenance for my fridge at a very reasonable rate. Post maintenance, the next day, the fridge door wouldn't open and the technician came and fixed it for free. The technician was very thorough and double checked his work I have GE® 7.2 CU. FT. CAPACITY ALUMINIZED ALLOY DRUM ELECTRIC DRYER WITH SENSOR DRyer only two years old and was disappointed when some rock and sand got in there from some construction clothing. The technician took everything apart vacuum cleaned, found rock and sand in various areas of the dryer. It was more $$$ than I thought it might be, but was well pleased with the end result was impressed with their expertise. Would use them again. read more
