Elliot did a phenomenal job catering our wedding of 110 people. The food is the best bbq I have ever had, the mac & cheese is to die for!! He was able to offer us many sides and even a vegetarian option. My wedding was about a month ago and people have not stopped raving about our food. I have had atleast five of my guest already contact me for his info to try to book him for other events. During the day I didn't have one worry about the food, in fact when I arrived at the venue at 10am he had already been there and set up. He even asked me and my husband what we wanted and offered to make us a plate so we could sit down. He made sure our guest were full (there were tons left over for second servings) and our vendors were fed for no additional cost. Wow!! Impressive!! I've had barbeque from all over the country, Texas, Memphis, etc. This guy is the real deal. Outstanding food. He catered a wedding which I recently attended in the wine country area of Temecula. Everything he served, chicken, tri-tip, brisket, beans, potatoes and coleslaw was absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious. Cut and served properly. Great smoky flavor and very tender. He's a friendly and personable guy as well. I went over to him to compliment his food and grabbed a card so that I could give this review and hire him myself sometime. Even the beans and potatoes were better than any I've ever had. we ordered trip tip, BBQ chicken, slaw, mac n cheese, beans, and rolls for our wedding rehearsal dinner in our back yard. the excellent and friendly service was only outdone by the quality of the food. all of our 50 guests were more than satisfied and we had leftovers for ourselves. they set up in our back yard and provided plates and utensils. within 30 minutes of everyone finishing their food, they were cleaned up and you'd never be able to tell they were there. fantastic service, excellent food. there is no reason to look any further... Elliot & Gava D's catered my daughter's 5th birthday party and I could not have possibly been more satisfied. After years of throwing these massive parties and bearing all the burden of preparing food for upwards of 50 people, I am so happy I found them. Everything was hot, tasty, and cooked to perfection. They took away all the mess and stress of meal planning for a large party and provided enough food to feed everyone twice (we literally had friends calling the next day asking to come over and help with leftovers because they couldn't get the amzing food off their minds). Their homemade Honey Habanero bbq sauce and slaw sauce are amazing and I cant say enough about their baked beans. Much thanks to Elliot and his team for their fantastic service. We called on short notice but Gava accommodated all of our needs even with a smaller party. Our event went smooth as Elliot took care of all the details so we didn't have to. We ordered the ribs, tri tip, salmon, shrimp, Mac cheese, cornbread, roasted potatoes, grilled pineapple and everything was excellent. We hired Ellliot from Gava D's for my parents 50th Anniversary party a couple of weeks ago with about 85 people in our back yard. The food was excellent (pulled pork, chicken and beef; beans; slaw; mac and cheese; rolls plus two appetizers and dessert) and we got so many compliments on the food. They also provided plates, utensils and napkins which was one less thing I needed to worry about. He was there and set up by the time guests started arriving and he cleaned up everything afterwards ... again, one less thing for me to worry about.
