We made a reservation for 6:30 on Saturday night. We arrived there a bit early (a little after 6) but the hostess was very nice and was able to seat us outside right away. It was such a nice day and night we really liked the outside seating. We ordered the ribeye and sirlion for our entrees. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection! It was cooked medium well and was very nice and juciy. The seasoning and flavor was on point! I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it but it was so good, I probably could have eaten a bit more! For the sides we chose chips, spinach, and mixed green salad. The salad was fine and it is not anything fancy. The chips could have been cooked a bit longer so it wasn't as crunchy as we would prefer. The spinach was a nice and healthy side item. It was steamed and garnished with lemon and garlic which I like better then sauted spinach. We loved our experience and plan to return again!

I am a regular at Gauchos, and with each visit the standard of service I have received has been second to none. Literally from start to finish absolutely incredible! Their vast selection of Argentinian steaks and wines are all top of the range quality. The decor is gorgeous, the atmosphere and service all in all 10/10.

Argentinian beef at its best, the meal was excellent and the service fantastic. The meat was medium rare minus and cooked to perfection. The chimichurri has a savory and smooth taste, which I had to try hard not to smother my meat in. Well worth the trip, would return again for sure.

The service from the moment we walked in until the minute we left was excellent; very helpful and friendly staff. I had the medallion fillet steak medium/well and it was as described. My partner on the other hand had 300g fillet well done and for him it was too chewy. Nonetheless we had a good evening with an extra special ending to the night with dessert (see pics!)

The rib eye steak was raw, though we ordered a medium. It was hard to cut and swallow, not so juicy and tasty as the store on Picaddily.

And for the quality of food you get, I think this place is reasonably priced. The restaurant is not far from Old Street station and has a pub feel, but slightly more refined. The staff was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. I highly recommend a reservation though as even when we came here on a Monday night, it was busy. I don't think you can go wrong with almost anything on the menu. Everything we had was delicious, and you can tell the chef's really know how and understand how to cook and flavor meat to perfection. The most surprising item though, is the White Chocolate Cheesecake. It is served out of a dish, tiramisu style, and is one of the best desserts I have had in a while. It was not too rich but so flavorful. So when you come here, make sure to save room for dessert!

You're taken out of your familiar element and end up walking into O2 like it is it's own world. Once you get passed the metal detectors and security, you'll enter a very darkly lit restaurant with cow prints everywhere. You're reminded from the get-go that this is not an establishment catering to vegans. Hell, the mushrooms are cooked with bone marrow. Our waiter bent over backward to make sure we ordered the best wine for our budget and continued to supplement our table as the dinner went on with different sauces and condiments he thought we'd enjoy dipping our chips into. At first, I thought we had ordered too many chips, but by the end of the night, we had consumed everything. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the Latin-inspired corn, everything was great. Gaucho is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, but seeing as it's a chain, I would not go out of my way to make this a destination. Always chose local if you can. :)

Well, clearly I didn't get the memo on Cabrera, this place was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! I was a bit skeptic at first just based on the fact the waitress was an older lady and there was some confusion when we asked some questions regarding the menu, but I was wrong. My friend and I shared the steak selection (£48 for 2 people) which came with Sirloin, Fillet and Ribeye. 2 steaks of each per person. We then ordered 3 side dishes to share between us - dauphinois potato, triple cooked chips and a portion of asparagus. All of it was cooked to perfection. The knife went through the steak like butter, the chips were delicious and the potatoes so tasty and the asparagus was perfect. I was getting quite full, with 3 steaks to eat, but I didn't want the meal to end, it was so delicious. The portion of chips was huge! We couldn't finish them. The potatoes were just addictive, I would happily have eaten it all over again. The restaurant soon filled up and I was actually really surprised at how busy it got. I naively didn't think that people frequented these local restaurants too often, but the place was really busy and according to our waitress, that was a quiet night! If only I could afford to eat here all the time! With it being a steak restaurant the price is more expensive than say going out for an Italian meal, but it was most definitely worth it. I can't wait to tell all my friends and colleagues and encourage everyone to go. I can't wait to go back. Cabrera is definitely a local gem.

I wasn't going to expect much from a BBQ restaurant in London, but they impressed me. The brisket was juicy and full of a rich smoky flavor. How did they do this way out here?? The sausage was also juicy and had a delightful flavor. If I didn't know any better, this tasted just as good as a BBQ brisket sandwich back in the US. The sandwich came with a pickle spear and some coleslaw. There was a generous amount of brisket on the sandwich, where some US restaurants only give you two slices of brisket and call it good. Bone marrow and onions (12 GBP) - This was surprisingly good. Although the marrow itself didn't have much of a flavor, it was a nice buttery consistency to spread on the bread. The onions were cooked very well. Sticky Toffee Pudding (9.50 GBP) - This was more of a bread like dessert than a pudding, but was tasty and not overly sweet despite the toffee (which is good).
