    The centerpiece at the table!
    Kelly A.

This is a buffet style place with white table cloths and cloth napkins! The buffet selections are on the more upscale end, with carving, custom omelet and waffle stations. The custom station staff are dress with white chef hats. Their disposition was very pleasant, even though they had been working since 7am (the time we're we're there was 4pm). There was a person(s) solely dedicated to clearing your plates from the table, in order to lessen the crowding from finished buffet plates...this was awesome! Food was delicious...especially the brown gravy for the mashed potatoes. If you get a chance to eat here, you will not be disappointed!

    Sunday brunch!

You must reserve in advance for a spectacular Sunday brunch! Every seat is spoken for but it's not crowded. The room is bright and spacious and the vibe is welcoming. The buffet has all the breakfast norms plus some great comfort food extras like fried chicken and fish, meatballs and pork ribs. The omelette station waffle made to order guy knows how to make it exactly how you like it. Salad, carved ham and carved roast beef in case you still have room. The dessert table has many choices and are just average. I give this place two thumbs and two big toes up!

Oh hello, mile-long buffet line. Is there anything else in Indy that compares to your weekend brunch buffet? I don't think so. If you want the full 411, see Brittany S.'s detailed review. All I'll say is that literally anyone can get their money's worth at The Garrison, whether you want a belt-busting breakfast, stacks on stacks of salad, or five dishes strictly devoted to dessert. Mix up your usual weekend picks and enjoy a meal at The Garrison at least once.

Yelp tip for this restaurant: Wear your stretchy pants! This is a great place for Sunday brunch. Their buffet here is the best I've had in Indy so far. We made reservations and were seated promptly. Staff was super friendly and helpful with our questions. Our drinks were always refilled and our plates cleared right away. The buffett is staged in this beautiful ballroom, which is super spacious and has large double doors that lead to the grand terrace. The buffett consist of Breakfast and lunch options with a carving station, omelet station, waffle station, and if you have the room for it, a dessert station. There main buffett line definitely had lots to choose from from protein to veggies. Some of my favorites were the fried chicken and BBQ ribs. At $20 a person it is a little more on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Lastly, Definitely come here hungry because there is lots to choose from! We can't wait to visit again!

The Garrison is the Fort Harrison State Park restaurant, but it's located at the Golf Course next door (also state run.) They are known for their fried chicken, and it did not disappoint. My friend ordered the BBQ pork sandwich, and he said it was really good, too. The service was very attentive, and they even let us try the chili at the salad bar while we waited!

What a surprising and memorable experience. Twenty minutes from downtown and voila, you feel like you're a world away on vacation. Big love to fellow Yelper Allison F for bringing this hidden gem to our attention. The highlights: -located on Fort Benjamin Harrison Park's property with hiking trails within arm's reach and a beautiful large back patio over looking nature -the Sunday Brunch is where it's at- your drink is included with the buffet for $19.99 (adult) -the coffee is surprisingly delicious and you might end up drinking three+ cups like us... -the buffet features a salad bar, 20+ hot food items, more than ten made from scratch desserts to choose from as well as an omelette and carving stations -the salad bar is a nice touch for those who may not want to dive headfirst into the fried chicken and Mac and cheese as I did... I balanced with the spinach, ya'll -the space is super outdated but in a fun and nostalgic state park, wood paneling kind of way -there was an incredible crowd for the brunch- very ideal for the after church crowd -parking is very easy and plentiful in the lot out front -fun fact: there are several other great bizs at the park like Porter Books & Bread and Fitzgerald's sandwich/lunch house Don't leave without a slice of the pineapple upside down cake.

Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. I will try other items whenever I can get to one of the pop ups.

What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

The flavor was deep and full. You get those darker, slightly nutty notes right away, then it settles into this smooth, creamy finish that just stays with you. Every sip hits the same, and it just keeps pulling you back in. The whipped cream on top melts right into it and adds a little extra sweetness without taking away from the chocolate. You could even purchase some of that glimmer to make your life sparkle at home, granted for almost $40. I decided to stop in because I've pretty much tried every coffee shop in Hamilton County, and when I saw you could grab coffee to-go here, I knew I had to check it out since I've never been! I'm SO glad I did because this was easily one of the prettiest coffees I've had in the area, and the vibes were absolutely immaculate. The space was a little cramped, and it was somewhat tricky to tell who was waiting in line for goodies versus coffee, which made it feel a bit overstimulating. But the drink itself was sweet, delicious, and definitely worth the stop! I can't say it would be one of my frequent stops as I waited a decent amount of time for just a coffee, in a cramped area but was cool to see as I can't find myself making a reservation anytime soon after seeing the prices (sheesh to say the least!) It did seem like such a special spot in Carmel, IN, stepping into an entirely different world so I understand the hype, maybe one day I'll try the cake & food.

Whoever you are... thank you. You changed my life. The sweet woman behind the counter heard where I was from and handed me a complimentary glazed yeast donut. Let me tell you... WHEW! It wasn't even fresh out of the oven, and it still melted in my mouth. Light, soft, perfectly glazed... I knew right then I was in trouble. I ended up buying a box with blueberry cake, applesauce cake, cinnamon sugar, Bavarian cream, glazed yeast, and a few others. Everything was incredibly fresh, and at those prices, I had to double-check the menu because I thought I was reading it wrong! When I got back to my parents' house in Louisville, we warmed a few up for just a few seconds. Game over. They somehow tasted even better.
