If a line is closed, there needs to be a sign or some indication that the line is closed. A customer should not have to stand in line for any period of time, only to be told it is closed. They were incredibly accommodating: we hosted the birthday party right in the studio, decorated the space, brought our own food and non-alcoholic drinks, and set up a special designated area for the birthday girl and her friends. Laura and Bob were beyond patient and so helpful with the kids, guiding them every step of the way to make sure everything came out just right. The selection of pottery pieces is huge (overwhelming in the best way) and they even surprised us with a complimentary plate featuring all her friends' little fingerprints. What a thoughtful touch! The workshop far exceeded my expectations in terms of ease and information! Michele was super knowledgeable about the materials/paint/techniques, and it inspired me to start dabbling into the idea of painting some of my own furniture. Or at least some of my own pieces rather than buying them at Hobby Lobby! :p It was super easy to pick up the materials, and there was more than enough leftover for using the materials for another DIY project.
