I walked up to the front door 3 min early to wait. They let me in a minute early unexpectedly, which was kind. My mission? To order balloons for a friend's husband's 60th birthday which is happening at another friend's house tomorrow. Rebecca helped me at the front, explaining how I choose balloons, pay for them, and then she would fill out an order form for my exact request. Latex balloons are 12 for $12. I decided I wanted the mylar ones because my friend wanted gold and silver balloons and they were shinier. I chose 1 round black one with 60 on it and silver and gold confetti design, then two gold and three silver balloons of different shapes. I'll post pictures of them when I pick them up tomorrow. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Rebecca was kind, patient, and helpful. I also purchased the weights to hold the balloon arrangements since the party would be outside. You can choose what color ribbon so I chose matching as opposed to white. I'm thrilled Michael's has balloons now! It's super convenient. You order ahead of time in person or online (not on the phone). Additional notes on pickup day: the balloons were ready for 1p.m. pickup as requested. Very pleased with the result. Glad I bought the weights because it ended up being breezy today so they came in handy. Thank you, Michaels! It was a welcome addition to my friend's 60th birthday party (60 guests!)

I walked into the store and noticed it was really crowded. That being said, I went straight to the rear, grabbed some supplies that I needed, and walked directly to the register area. As I approached the area there were 3 cashiers. I went and stood in one of the lines that seemed endless. After waiting for approximately 10 min, the cashier looked at several customers, including myself, and stated he was closed. Very frustrated, I walked to a different line. Since I was desperate and in need of the merchandise, I stayed and waited patiently until it was my turn to pay. My main complaint was not the amount of time I stood in line or the amount of customers. It was the way the closed line was handled. If a line is closed, there needs to be a sign or some indication that the line is closed. A customer should not have to stand in line for any period of time, only to be told it is closed. That's poor management, and customer service in my opinion. During the holidays, Hobby Lobby should have more cashiers. That place is always crowded, and it would be nice to know that you are not gonna be standing in a line for 30 min before you can return or purchase. I

One would expect quality craftsmanship when spending $1200 to get two prints framed. Unfortunately that was not the case for me. After being weeks late of delivery date, both of the frames were dusty inside and the glass had water spots on the inside. I notice that one of my prints was creased as well. I pointed this out when picking up and was told that it came like that. This made it very awkward to argue since it's my word against hers and the print was in a tube that I opened at home but not in front of her. I asked if these things could be fixed. Came back a few days later to see that it was a little better but not perfect. I decided to take my prints and move on before they get worse. I wanted to support local and give this business a chance but I should have just taken my prints to Downtown Framers in LA. They always do a great job. I won't be back and will advise others to not take their work here.

I was planning to go to Aaron Bros. to get a presentation framed. I remembered Linco Custom Picture Framing and thought I would get a quote there as well, so I could show my boss I had shopped around for the best price. Laura was extremely helpful. She walked me through the process quickly and painlessly, and helped me select the materials for my custom frame. The price was just under $200. Being a born skeptic, I decided to head over to Aaron Bros. to see if they had any less expensive options available for me. My timeline was not conducive to a custom frame, so the store assistant showed me some ready-made frames that would perhaps fit my need. The frame I selected was about 8" smaller than the one Laura and I had designed. The store computer crashed twice during the quote process (foot tapping), and by the time we finished with the custom matting and glass selections, the quote was almost $600--and this was with an off-the-rack frame, so it's more like comparing apples to oranges. I can only imagine how much it would have been if a custom frame had been included. So, I did what any smart person would do. I went back to Linco, and placed my order. Steve was very professional and helped me pick out matting. He even offered to deliver the finished product. Needless to say, I'm highly satisfied with the service I received at Linco Custom Picture Framing, and I have already put in a PO for an additional order. read more

After my beautiful wife, Roxanne, passed away in 2021, I made it my mission to keep her memory alive for as long as I am around. So, I thought I could accomplish this by sending beautiful framed photos of Roxanne to our family and friends pretty much every Christmas and birthday. Steve, Leslie, Laura, and their crew have been much valued partners in my mission. I am sure we have framed more than 100 photos of my beautiful girl for her loved ones. I have continued with Linco because they do such beautiful and precise work. They have done every kind of framing and I highly value their experience and advise. They have so improved the quality of my picture gifts. In addition, their work is very timely and the cost is very reasonable, especially for such exceptional work. At this point, I still have 11,000+ photos in my digital library ... most are pics of Roxanne. So we still have a lot of work to do. And I will keep sending framed pictures of her til I see them starting to be hung in friends' and family's garages because there is no more wall, desk, or mantle space in their houses. read more

I can't say enough amazing things about Linco! I needed to frame my fiancee's two degrees and was a little intimidated by the process, but they made it so easy and enjoyable. They were incredibly patient and helpful, guiding me through their enormous selection of frames and mats (seriously, they have everything!). They narrowed it down to a few perfect options that complemented the degrees perfectly. I was also on a tight deadline, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me, which was a huge relief. This place does great work and for a lot less than some of the big franchise places. We have been going to Aaron brothers to get our framing done and although the work is really good, I always feel like its very expensive. So this last time that we went there I was quoted almost $3000 for 4 large prints to be framed...needless to say I had to get another quote. Well I went to Linco's and they quoted me less than one forth of the price! They have found a permanent customer in me, that's for sure. Laura was very helpful as well. read more
