I love this Hallmark shop! It's always fun to come in here before my Trader Joe's run to get my monthly free "Just Because" card and see if there are any fun seasonal items on display or new items on clearance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer senior discounts on Tuesdays FYI. They recently changed over to a new name back around November 2025 to Trudy's Hallmark. The manager told me they are no longer with corporate, or was it the other way around? In any case, it resulted in a bunch of things going on clearance to clear out the merchandise for new things - yay for me because I found lots of good things at great prices including my new favorite "Family Movie Night" blanket. I guess there might be a few changes, but I can't really tell. Love this hallmark location!! So convenient in San dimas with Trader Joe's and target! The staff members are so thoughtful and always offer to help you find items, gifts and etc! They even offered to help me carry my items to my car :) I love shopping during the holidays and found tons of grinch, elf and snoopy items for the holidays! The week before Christmas they offered 30% off a regular priced item and I got my husband an elf blanket I've had my eye on! I wish hallmark stored receipts so I could return items but got store credit that went to merchandise anyway! :) I look forward to the holiday times! read more

My daughters and I enjoy shopping at Trudy's Hallmark Shop in San Dimas (the former name was Amy's Hallmark Shop). They have a lot of cute stuff, ornaments, all-seasons gifts, cards, and decorations. I enjoy shopping at Amy's Hallmark Shop. The place is really incredible. It is always very organized.The staff are so sweet and friendly. The environment is very welcoming. There are plenty of merchandise and ideas for gifts and decorations. I also love the wide selection of greeting cards for different occasions and the elegant accessories they have. The collections they have for Disney characters, Friends TV show, Golden Girls, Gilmore Girls, Harry Potter, Winnie the Pooh and more, are very impressive. It is very convenient for me to stop by the shop and find what I am looking for, specially from these collections. Ooh my new favorite Hallmark shop! It's also the closest to home, although still a 20-25 min drive, but glad I came today!! What drove me here is today is Hallmark Holiday Ornament preview day!! Hallmark premieres their new ornaments and you can purchase starting today. Last year the Hallmark I went to didn't have so much excitement as this one. I walked in to an 80's party here!! The lady working told me they had a whole show at 10am and do every year with whatever theme they choose. I took a photo op, bought 2 ornaments and I'm happy. But what I also loved about this location is the happy & friendly employees, how large it is and what a nice shopping center area it's located in. I've lived near the area since around 2010 and I just discovered this place today (1/27/24). The staff that assisted was very helpful and patient. I needed a memorial sign-in notebook for my late sister's upcoming mortuary viewing. I called on the phone and the staff placed the available notebook on hold me. When I got there, the notebooks were waiting for me. I always appreciate it when people do what they say they would. When I was still collecting TY Beanie Babies back in the days, I would drop by this Hallmark to check out the latest beanies. Those were the good old days. I love my beanies hunting days LOL. I no longer collect beanies. I gave away a lot of them to Salvation Army and that's okay. Hope some children got some of those beanies. Anyway, I no longer visit this Hallmark. This store is exceptional. Not only is a "Hallmark " through and through, it's a Wonderfully kept Starbucks. The inventory is vast and the product placement is done well. Walking through this store is a delight and quite pleasurable. The employees are great also, very helpful and kind. There is a club in which email coupons are sent and points are earned. It's located next the a fabulous Chinese restaurant, The Chopsticks House. Going to lunch before or after shopping at Hallmark is a recipe for a great afternoon! I don't know why I hadn't noticed this place sooner. I usually just buy cards from places like target or Walgreens. I needed a nice card for my daughter's teacher who just lost her mom. I walked in and immediately felt such peace! This place is so clean and cute and the staff are all so nice. Jesenia took care of me and was SO helpful and nice. It's gotta be a prerequisite to be SUPER sweet to work here for sure. Or how did they manage to find the nicest humans? I don't know but this store is just so warm and welcoming too. They have a colossal selection of cards and small gifts. There are lots of seasonal items too. You could REALLY do some damage in here so I stuck to what I was looking for. My family and I went to hallmark today and were greeted in a hostile way by Alexis. My wife has posted a similar review, however our experience there has caused us to write an additional review. Alexis posted that the store would be closing in 15 minutes and to hurry or leave the store, however the hours advertised were two hours earlier than posted. When we asked her this she said that we must hurry to make a selection or we would have to leave the store. Very disappointed in this experience. read more

However, we were greeted by an old lady yelling (Alexis) to get out of the store and they were closing even though the house posted were until 2 hours later. I love this Hallmark. Why? Let me explain. Customer Service- the customer service is exceptional here. Every time I shop here I'm greeted with a smile and a "how can I help you, is there anything I can help you look for?" It is always appreciated, especially when I'm in a hurry. I tell the associate what I want and she takes me right to where I can find it. Huge Selection- I can find so many items here that I would never find anywhere else. I even come to this store to just browse the items sometimes. They have collections with most items, so if you want something to match, they'll most likely have something to go with it. They have way more than cards. They have shirts, mugs, desk accessories, ornaments, notebooks, children books, photo albums, jewelry, chocolate, picture frames, and various collections like, Precious Moments, Marvel Avengers items including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Spider Man. They have the cutest Winnie the Pooh collections, and of course Disney pieces as well. They've come out with a new book that you can even personalize for your children with their names in the book. Of course though, these are a bit more. Coupons- Sign up for a Hallmark Card. You get coupons. Good coupons too. You can get 20% off an item or 5 dollars off of 15 dollars. And, they accept Expired Coupons. So don't throw them away! They will take them! Also, you can use the coupons in the sale items. And.. You will get a coupon with every purchase. I always use the buy 2 and get the 3rd card free coupon and stock up on birthday cards. Tip- go after holidays. They ALWAYS will have a sale on the items for that holiday and you can stock up for next year. Or sometimes they'll just have a sale on various times throughout the store. Browse. You will find great deals! And use the coupons! Look at stuff you like, and you never know you might have a sale item in your hands. They started having story time for children on Select Saturday's. They'll post signs before the event is held. It kept my daughter entertained. They read books, gave her a cute coloring sheet, and even provided her with a juice box, bubbles to take home, and a snack. Not even Barnes and Nobles does that. And a plus for adults, they'll give you a 20% off an item coupon. So go! Use a coupon and browse if you got time! They have great gifts here and people love their stuff! read more

While this store may look high class on the surface, the reality is, the service is something you would expect at Target, and the overpriced knick knacks, bobbles, and memorabilia are absolutely laughable. Seriously, I couldn't stop chuckling at the $40 Christmas ornaments that could fit in the palm of my hand- priced so outrageously simply due to the fact that they were trademarked by movie companies. Although, they carry an enormous amount of small gifts, and a huge assortment of greeting cards, upon closer inspection one realizes that you could wisely spend your money elsewhere on a nicer, more meaningful gift for the same prices you would spend here. The cards, themselves range from theme to theme, but can be difficult to shop for if you're looking for something meaningful, as there are way too many to read through. And the nicer cards cost upwards of $6; I'm not even talking about the personalized ones that talk. Lord knows what those cost. Yes, the selection is impressive, but if you MUST shop at Hallmark, I would suggest shopping at the one in Montclair Plaza. The service is nicer, the ambiance is livelier, it's easier to shop due to the smaller store size, and the prices don't feel as exorbitant as they do here. read more

This place has a great selection. Its a huge Hallmark- the card store, a dying breed. The service IS a bit slow, as mentioned in other reviews, but I really think the main reason for this is the average age of the clientele here is about 88. Seriously, but just take your time and have a gander at all the candles, gifts, and cards. The selection is pretty amazing, did I tell you that? And sign up for their Gold Crown rewards.Unlike other scammy programs, this one doesn't bombard your email, it simply mails you 20% or buy-one-get-one free coupons every few months. They are one of the very few coupons I actually use. Be patient when standing in line. It takes awhile for people to count out seven singles and 23 pennies in exact change.....
