My family and I have been choosing Art & Frame Depot for multiple projects and will continue to do so! Their pricing is very reasonable and their customer service goes above and beyond. The owner is very professional and kind; walking you through their process. It really showcases their passion and dedication to collaboration with their customers. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. They also sell the paintings displayed on the wall as well! If you're looking to support local business, please consider Art & Frame Depot!

45 year old signed poster with water damage given new life by Amy's framing skills.

This is my go-to place for custom framing. I have had all sorts of artwork, posters, and prints framed here and have always been very satisfied with the results. Amy is always very thorough and informative during consultations and will often provide multiple options for each piece. The value cannot be beaten too as I have always found the quotes to be reasonable. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for custom framing!

My grandpa's scroll, revived on a new background thanks to Amy!

I am beyond happy and the results honestly exceed expectations. During the consult, Amy proved herself to be incredibly knowledgeable and skillful, so my expectations were pretty high. But it's better than I thought it could be. So my grandpa's scroll. My grandpa was gifted this calligraphy scroll and he gave it to my brother before he passed. My brother hung it in his home, but in the home with a two year old, became ripped on the bottom. During his move, my brother asked if I wanted it...um HECK YEA. I don't know anything about scrolls and I wasn't sure if it could be re...scrolled. Or if I'd end up framing it. My mom thought it was possible to have it redone and found Art & Frame Depot through some Chinese version of yelp. Amy picked up the phone and very happily said yes of course they can rescroll a scroll! Come on by! We went, showed her the scroll and she immediately came up with three options. The easiest and cheapest would be to cut the part where the calligraphy is on (because it's on a separate paper from the rest of the scroll, who knew!) and frame it. The more expensive and time consuming option would be to lift the calligraphy paper off the scroll paper and reglue it onto new paper. But she warned me that not only was it difficult, there is a possibility that it could still get damaged in the process. The third would have been to cut that portion off, and glue it onto a new scroll paper, but it would make rolling it up more difficult because that area would then be extra thick. I was going to go with the third because honestly, it wouldn't have been fair to her to try to unglue a piece of paper decades old from another piece of paper, with all that pressure not to rip it. I can barely do that with anything glued less than a few minutes together! Plus once I found a place to hang it, it was going to stay hung, so the thickness in the middle really wouldn't have bothered me that much. As we were talking through options, she then realized, wait...there's another option! If she uses fabric, it should be thinner and roll well. She showed us her fabric options and they were gorgeous. Yes that option please! So we went that route, she gave us suggestions on color (the scroll was originally on beige paper which I wasn't a fan of) and border color. I had thought to shorten the length too, but she knew about scrolls and said the original length was appropriate for it. I think we spent close to 2 hours in there learning from her and choosing which direction we wanted to go. And she was completely patient and kind about the whole thing. (This is not the first time my mom and I were choosing fabric together. We can take a while because we have similar tastes but it honestly takes a while to come to the same conclusion). She said two weeks and less than $300. What a steal! I was totally expecting someone at her level of expertise to be charging an insane amount. She does do a lot of framing and scrolls, and even proudly showed us pictures of other works she's done. My mom just went to pick it up today (I wasn't able to make it) and she was super excited. Turns out Amy went the extra mile and still thinned out the back of the calligraphy paper for us a bit. So incredible. And the final product...I mean the picture speaks for itself!! (My mom said when she was taking a picture for me, Amy insisted that she take a good one, so she STOOD ON A CHAIR holding it up for me mom to take). Absolute gem. I seriously can't thank her enough!

Art & Frame Depot in Walnut California is FANTASTIC! Amy was wonderful to work with. When the manufacturer discontinued the top mat that I first selected, Amy worked with me via texting photos of similar matting to help me decide a similar match. The custom frame is well built and the mounting hardware on the back is solid. This vintage wine poster that I have had rolled up for 20 years has new life and is exactly how I envisioned it to look professionally framed. Their pricing is very fair and extremely high quality. Michaels or Aaron Bros. would have cost twice as much. Art & Frame depot specializes in framing valuable Chinese art, but Amy took just as much care in framing my old promotional California wine poster as if it was valuable hi-art. I cannot wait to work with Amy again. A million thanks to Art & Frame depot!! Bravo!!! 10 stars!!

The blanket in its original state.

I purchased a blanket with the artwork of Nanami Cowdroy with the plan of having it framed and hung on a wall at home. I have never done this before and had no clue what was entailed in the process. I brought the blanket to Amy to see what she would recommend. The quoted price initially caught me off guard since it was double what I thought it would cost, but then again I had no clue how much attention, time and material would be required. However, by looking at the completed pieces in her shop, I knew this blanket would be in good hands. (She beautifully showcases art pieces, artifacts, scarves and paintings from all over the world.) The patterned silk fabric was glued on wood to create the matting inside the shimmery navy blue wood frame. The blanket was glued to a wood platform using flower paste so the felt material of the blanket would not be compromised. The blanket was protected behind plexiglass and ready to hang using a heavy-duty frame hanger. The framed blanket ended up being over 5'x7'. We transported it by floating it on top of a truck bed with 2x4's, blankets and tie-downs. Amy's vision and artistic creativity was beyond what I could have ever imagined for this blanket. It's such a beautiful work of art that we get to enjoy everyday. Thank you so much!

I went to Art & Frame for the first time to have frame made for our oil painting. Amy is such a professional artist that not only helped me with the design of the frame, but gave a very reasonable price. I am so happy with the work that she did that I will only have my custom made frames done by Art & Frame Depot. We hung the framed painting in our bedroom and got great compliments. I highly recommend to visit the store and have Amy design your frame. You will be amazed!

I love sports memorabilia and my young son loves the typical action figures/POP's toys/collectible stuff. This place had a ton of both. I really enjoyed looking through all the autograph items - Kobe, Michael Jordan, Dodgers players, etc. I was told they are going to have actual players/celebrities do signings at the store. It's a really large space, it's clean, and they have tons of stuff to look at - not just limited to sports or toys. It has things for people of all ages - boys and girls. But what made this place different, was the friendly, helpful people that worked there. I really appreciated that level of customer service. It's always easy to order things online, but I enjoy seeing the toy before I buy it and talking with someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommended!

Sometimes it's not just the framing! The word "Gallery"…read moredescribes a place for exhibiting and selling art but really it's so much more. For me it's the experience - the time spent looking, studying, and simply browsing a collection is worth gold to me. Chemers Gallery in Tustin is that place that offers that whole experience. Every time I go in there, which I admit isn't near often enough but probably more than some, I delight in "finds". I have a fairly decent collection of artwork and it's not confined to paintings. I've ceramics, sculptures, glasswork, pottery, photographs, and a few weird pieces of found object works as well. Quite a few of those pieces have come from this jewel of a gallery so close to home. The owner Karen, and her friendly staff have always allowed me the luxury to simply roam. I have to walk through numerous times to take everything in. I get distracted by one or two pieces and then turn around and find something else completely unexpected. And, it becomes mine. I love this place!! I am a retired healthcare designer and Chemers was the art consultant on a few of our firms healthcare projects. What I enjoyed was the chosen works were always different from the predictable works too often seen in healthcare spaces and, they always complimented the concepts of our interiors. I also love the shows and exhibitions they often host here. Often soliciting works from local artists, craftspeople, and even foodies, these "pop-up" shows are always good for gifts, wearables, and sometimes taste-ables! And if I'm lucky, I often walk away with a new piece! I always look forward to stopping in on these shows and could spend an hour or more perusing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gallery - oh, and of course, don't forget, they also do excellent framing!!
