In order to see the hairline crack, you have to color the inside of the cap. It's not a 'test before ship' thing.

Spent over $100 on Copic markers for a class. (Have spent at least $1000 with them over the years). Received one defective marker - hairline crack inside cap, causes marker to dry out after less than 2 months. Emailed them, and was told too bad - user error. This is a known issue with later productions of Copics, and they just blow it off

Directly from Copic International!! Do NOT buy Copic products from these people!!

Has everything you need and it's easy accessibility. I feel like the prices are better than any other art store.

To: Hobby Lobby - West Covina Store No. 595…read moreI am submitting this complaint regarding the unprofessional and rude behavior of an employee named Maximiliano during checkout at your West Covina location on 12/30/2025 at approximately 9:30 a.m. While paying, we attempted to explain that another employee had directed us to an end cap of New Year's decorations that was clearly labeled 40% off. Maximiliano repeatedly interrupted us, spoke over us, and refused to listen as we explained that we were misled by the signage and employee direction. Although he stated that yellow price tags indicated clearance and did not qualify for the discount, the issue was not the pricing. A manager later apologized for the misinformation regarding the signage, but my concern was Maximiliano's condescending tone, dismissive facial expressions, and lack of respect throughout the interaction. Despite other customers being present, he continued to display a poor attitude and showed no effort to listen or de-escalate the situation. As a customer-facing employee, professionalism, respect, and attentive listening should be standard. This interaction did not meet those expectations and left a very negative impression. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and hope this matter is addressed appropriately.

There's always sales at Michael's which I love as a cosplayer and someone who does some arts and crafts for some projects and gifts for others, it's a great stop. This one is slightly more out of the way for me, but there's plenty of parking and is a decently sized Michaels location. Again, with every location, you better start shopping for seasonal and holiday things around 2 months before it actually happens because the closer to the actual holiday, it'll be mostly gone and they're already stocking items for the next major season or holiday 2 months away. Maybe a month from the holiday there's turbo sale on those items. Love doing Black Friday shopping here too, crazy discounts. Definitely double check that, super cheap. This store isn't as disorganized or disheveled as some other stores can be. It can be a wait to check out though even with self check out and the staff that they have there, so keep that in mind. I sometimes get spray paint for cosplay, so you gotta ring someone to assist you, so even more of a wait.

Terrible customer service. This entire store needs basic training on customer service…read more I came to this location on the morning of Valentine's Day (Saturday) to get a few things. It being a weekend and a holiday you would think that the store associates would have at least a slight awareness of increased sales and a sense of urgency. You would be wrong. There was a middle aged blonde with glasses in particular, I'm assuming she was the shift leader or manager, who was a master at looking busy but not actually doing anything. As the checkout line increased, and the two other associates already on a cashier getting swamped, she could have easily jumped in to help in any way (I.e fill up balloons which 95% of people in line were waiting for) and she did not. She didn't even bother to lift a finger to do anything productive. Instead she stood in front of the long line of customers, played with a bunch of go back items, and then disappeared to the back of the store when a friend/family came to visit her (I know this because someone called her over the PA system that she had a visitor). She left the front checkout area and could be heard going on about a conversation with her visitor and laughing, all the while doing exactly nothing to help the customers who by this time had already been waiting in line probably longer than they spent browsing the actual store. When she arrived back to the checkout line she again proceeded to NOT help and went on about looking busy while not actually doing anything. The other two younger ladies in the front who were working the registers each said something to her in passing (I assume it was to ask for help or indicate they needed help in some way) but she dismissed the two younger ladies, continued to ignore the long line (more than 8 people at this point), and made no attempt to even hand me my balloons (5) which took more than 9 minutes to fill. Complete incompetence from the middle aged blonde with glasses. It's too bad that the younger ladies are working under this incompetent blonde. She should be removed from her position immediately as she clearly has not accumulated any BASIC skills despite having lived more than enough years to comprehend the most remedial skills one needs at any retail job. Simply put, keep an eye out for the incompetent blonde who brings no value to this location and who, I would argue, actually hurts this location as she is clearly in some sort of leadership position yet displays no skills whatsoever worthy of the position.

We were just going through the mall, and we noticed this place. I love sports memorabilia and my young son loves the typical action figures/POP's toys/collectible stuff. This place had a ton of both. It's a really large space, it's clean, and they have tons of stuff to look at - not just limited to sports or toys. It has things for people of all ages - boys and girls. But what made this place different, was the friendly, helpful people that worked there. I really appreciated that level of customer service. For the latest updates on events, follow their instagram @colormeminecovina! They have so many special events that cater to various interests and groups and ages and truly anyone can enjoy here. I came back for my 5th time on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we had the best time. We chose the 6:30p-8:30p slot, and paid $50 for the special event table reservation (included a couples caricature). I know they had a later Valentine's reservation slot from 9-11pm and those couples got a little heart shaped trinket tray as part of their $50 fee. The table reservation cost does NOT include the price of the pottery you choose. They have a wide selection of pottery pieces you can choose from at varying price points so everyone can find something they will love to paint during the time. They had a new astrology jar with a lid that i've never seen before and instantly fell in love. My partner needed a bit more time to choose a piece, and decided on a dragon wrapped around a tower that will include a tea light for later to light up the tower (super cool). The two pieces were less than $100 total ($36 for the jar and $54? for the tower dragon) which is around the price I was expecting to pay. Note that my boyfriend and I showed up at 6:15 to look at the pottery early and we were thankful we did because it gave us extra time to paint without feeling a super tight time crunch. The staff was super sweet and attentive and remembered me from past times I've been there, which makes me feel more comfortable and happy there. They were checking tables frequently and making sure paint was always available and refilled for our use. They also gave us time checks to let us know how much time we had left which was appreciated. It is important to remember that 1 coat will leave a lighter finish while 3 coats will create a more opaque finish. They had a card on the table that said more than 3 coats of paint can warp your piece during the drying process or even cause an explosion due to trapped air between paint layers so do be aware! You also have to leave your pottery for up to a week so it can fully dry and bake in the kiln so the glaze hardens and becomes all shiny and beautiful. I have been happy with every piece I have made at Color Me Mine Covina and I will definitely keep recommending it to those around me because it really is that fun and enjoyable of an experience.
