1/31//25 Forgot to check in, redeemed my $5 reward on these silver & gold Sharpies. I was in such a hurry that I forgot to check-in & since it's a new store to me, I couldn't locate where the pens were. A very tall young man (staff) helped me out. He was very courteous & friendly . I didn't get his name either. Found the silver & gold Sharpies for my paper crafting but they're locked. This kindly staff member opened & brought the markers to the checkout & rung be up. Yay! I redeemed my $5 reward which was expiring tomorrow. This store just happened to be on our way home & it was near closing time. This Michael's is in a plaza with other businesses & parking is free, readily available. If I was not in hurry & out of time, I would've explored further.

    Rude managers

I would leave a negative star for the customer service from all three stores managers that were present the day I went to return and item that was defective. Although I had the receipt they still were very rude and blunt. When I asked for their name they wouldn't give me them. Only name I got was ANGELICA. But these ladies in the picture do not belong with the manager title

I recently visited Michael's craft store, and I have to say that while it offers a wide range of art supplies, it left me with mixed feelings. Even with a 20% discount, the prices were noticeably higher compared to other stores like Hobby Lobby, Blicks, or carpe Diem. I purchased Winsor & Newton oil paints, brushes from the 3 series, sculpting wire, PrismaColor colored pencils, fine detail linseed oil, and a sketchbook, which added up to a hefty $145. It's definitely on the expensive side. I usually resort to Michael's when there are no other options, as I typically prefer to order from my favorite online stores due to the cost. Michael's is convenient for a quick shopping trip, but it can be tough on the wallet. I would recommend Hobby Lobby if you're close, but if you want professional quality Blicks, Art Center College of Design (My alma mater), or go online.

Customer service by Sonia and Remy was ABOVE PAR!! They both were eager to help and these days, THAT'S RARE commodity! After today's experience I would recommend shopping at this store!

Went in today to exchange a frame (bought wrong size online), and sales associate/cashier was super helpful and friendly with the exchange.

Our instructor Kristen (and the blonde instructor -- forgot her name) were patient and encouraging throughout the entire class. Kristen's in depth explanation + demonstration was easy to follow as a beginner, but the instructors frequently made their rounds to work with everyone individually, giving advice and feedback. Despite the class session only being 2 hrs, I felt like I was able to focus on improving basic skills and learning new techniques. Even if you don't have any interest in pottery, I HIGHLY recommend taking a class regardless. The space is welcoming, and it was a great (and fun) way to release stress creatively :) looking forward to how my pieces come out!

It was a full class and the instructor patiently explained each step. Before you sign up, make sure to read the description carefully. There are hand-building classes and wheel throwing classes. Hand-building is hand molding and you don't work with the wheel. My one-time matcha bowl and whisk holder making class was hand-building and we don't get to decorate or glaze it. Instead, you get to pick from a selection of paint colors and their team finish glazing and fire it for you. You also need to wait about 6 weeks for it to be ready for pick up, which is standard for community pottery places. I picked the white paint with specks which I regretted. The glaze came back with some uneven spots and a dark brown mark on the outside. Since the studio glazed it for us, I was a little disappointed with the final result. Pottery definitely tests your patience and perfectionism. Not sure if pottery is for me, but I might come back for their wheel throwing class.

The vendor responded immediately indicating they would ship my hat once they received a merchandise shipment. I eventually received my order after about week and a half later. I was not satisfied with the order because the company name was also embroidered on the side of the cap which was not indicated on the description nor the picture provided on their website. I reached out several times via email (only option offered) and they have ignored all my inquiries about returning the item. Red flag I failed to notice is that their website doesn't have a return policy stated and only asks you to contact via email. I've decided to stop reaching out and cut my loss however I'm posting this review to make others aware of the poor customer service .
