I found Carpe Diem. The store is small and off a highway in some industrial shops. It's not a huge shop but is not limited in what they have. They are also open every other day due to schools being out of session. And they ask for your drivers license when you go in... I'm not sure why... but it is what it is. I think they require student ID if you're a student. They said they gave teacher discounts too but I was not offered anything when I went in. They had everything I needed and more. I like to get copic refills, and they have them behind the counter. I'm sure it's to prevent theft. Michael's and Blick does the same thing. You can find all the painting and illustration supplies you need. They have a selection of craft woods and tools along with clay, etc.... Carpe Diem is my new home base for the art supply. I'll definitely send my design students here and will be back for all my artistic supplies.

This visit was completely different. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to explain the coupons, rewards program and helped me download the new app without making me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. It honestly means a lot to see a business improve over time. Not many places can change someone's mind after so many years, but this store absolutely did. Honestly, probably the most inventory for the Anirollz character and plush series outside of when that company vends at anime conventions, so if you love those little guys and it's not con season and you want to see them in person, this is the place to go. They also have a very diverse and cute variety of other franchise goods like Poke'mon (the giant Ditto and bouquet Ditto plushies are super cute and I've only seen them on Korean merch posting accounts), Molang, Sanrio, Koupen-chan, Bellzi plushies, Miffy (probably the most Miffy I've seen outside of the LAX shop and ZillyMonkey to be honest), Chiikawa, Monchichi, and much, much more. Employees are very helpful and friendly, and can often be seen restocking merchandise. The workers are pretty nice there are no complaints there. My complaint is the prices of things as a lot of the stuff there is quite overpriced, especially the textbooks, hoodies and school merch, and the school supplies. The snacks are also pricy and is a bit or miss depending on what you're getting but you're paying for the convenience I guess. Also keep in mind that they have no bags so bring your own.
