There was very little acknowledgment, guidance, or effort to make my daughter feel welcomed as a new Navy Federal member. Opening your first account should be a positive experience, especially when your family has been loyal Navy Federal members and recommended the credit union to you. What bothered me most was the lack of interest in helping us. We did not walk in expecting special treatment, we simply expected basic customer service, communication, and assistance. Instead, we walked out feeling as though our business was not valued. I have other children who will eventually need accounts opened, and after this experience, I will absolutely NOT bring them to the Ontario branch. I would rather make the drive to San Bernardino, where we have consistently been treated with professionalism and respect. Navy Federal has always set a higher standard in my experience, but unfortunately, the Ontario location did not come close to meeting it. I would not recommend this branch based on the poor customer service and lack of acknowledgment we received.

UPDATE: Logix emailed me today to say the dispute has finally been closed in my favor…read more It only took nine months, multiple calls to customer service, two trips to my branch to complain, repeated explanations of the same obvious $100 overcharge, and eventually a public review. So yes, Logix ultimately agreed that the charge was wrong. That does not change how poorly the dispute was handled or how much time and effort it took to get a basic problem resolved. By the time they finally fixed it, I had already closed my accounts and moved my banking elsewhere.
