This place is a joke. We went to a different car lot, (QNQ) to look at a car but the car was at their storage lot down the street. They took us to the lot, while waiting for key to be brought to us from the main lot we looked around at all the different cars. We found a Red Nissan Juke that we were interested in but it was in Car City's storage lot side. We talked to Joséluis who didn't seem real interested in selling cars that day. We just assumed it was because it was later in the day. Disappointed we left with a promise the Juke would be ready by noon the next day. So, the following day, we called instead of showing up and he said it wasn't ready to come back the next day.. we asked why he said because it hadn't been worked on to make sure it was ready. So, extremely disappointed we waited til the next day. When we called again the next day as told to do so, he said it had been worked on but not test driven yet. We asked what that meant as far as us getting the car today he said, "come back tomorrow." We told him, Nevermind just keep the car. We told him, You lost out on a guaranteed sale. I would not recommend wasting your time going to this dealership. All you'll get is empty broken promises and they're not very pleasant at that. My family and i have purchased well over several vehicles over the years. And always happy with results. Jose Luis does his best to sell quality used vehicles. I literally blew up my radiator on the first day of owning one. and I would never blame him or his shop. Buying used is a gamble. Especially on a 15-20 year old vehicle. You can't expect used car sales to give you a car with completely new parts. But he does have warranty on some or most inventory. I have a neighbor who got a car from him and I will continue to reccoment his lot to anybody in need of a used vehicle. Keep up the great service Jose Luis. This place is by far the worst to buy a vehicle from. From the time I bought my Jeep my check engine light has been on my air didn't work I've been back and forth for them to fix it. And every time they say it's fixed my check engine light comes back on and I have to go back this time I had to pay out of pocket $100 which didn't make any sense I just bought the car for $6,000 nothing should be wrong with my Jeep. It's beautiful outside terrible inside AKA a pretty piece of shit.. My advice if you want to spend your good earn money do not buy anything from them!!! read more

Got a 2011 Honda from here and I love it. Easy to do paper work and The owner was super nice and really helped me since I did not have a co signer or good credit. They do there own financing and really work with u. My husband and I took our adult son to buy his first car, and after going to more than a dozen dealerships, we came to Car City. Jose Luis made the entire experience an enjoyable one. He showed my 19 yr old respect, was patient and informative about the different available cars. My son was able make a large down payment and finance a small amount to build his credit, and while his dad and I warned him about the mass of paperwork, it went pretty smoothly overall. Jose Luis did a few extra things to make the car as nice and ready as possible, which went a long way with us. This was nothing like the multiple (bad), experiences we've had buying a used car. It's been a few months, and my son is thrilled with his experience and the vehicle he bought. I have been dealing with Car City since 1991. I have gotten many vehicles from them, always last minute and usually with financial issues, and they have been there for me everytime. I have recommended them to many people for cars, and just took my grandson in to get rid of a bad car and replace it with something reliable. We went in search of a car for my son. Car city had multiple used vehicles at very reasonable prices. After driving several vehicles my son decided on one. The negotiation was very quick and fair. The ladies in the front had the paperwork completed and a temporary license plate on in no time. The car came with a 30 day or 1,000 mile warranty. Two weeks later the car's check engine light went on so we took it back to the dealership. I was worried that they would try to get out of fixing the car. But, they immediately took in the back for their mechanic to examine. They were unable to determine the cause and get the check engine light to go off so they took it to another mechanic. During the week of work, the owner allowed my son to use his own personal vehicle as a loaner. We returned the loaner, picked up the repaired vehicle and haven't had a problem since. They did the right thing and stuck behind their sold vehicle. Not what you would expect from a "used car lot". I would definitely purchase from them again. read more

In January of 2014 when I first met Manuel Marin from Car City I trusted him right away. He was the only person willing to work with in my price range and I was so grateful, until I started using the car. I purchased a 2009 Kia Spectra which seemed to be running fine. In the first week I heard weird noises with the vehicle. I took it back to Car City and they advised me my rear brakes needed to be replaced. In my mind the brakes should have been looked at before the car even left the Car City lot but he advised me he replaced them so I ignored it. THAT SAME week I hear new weird noises. I took it back to Manuel again and I was informed the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. At this point I am confused as to why SOOOO many issues were happening with the vehicle when I was assured it was properly inspected and that the necessary replacements were made. I heard strange noises AGAIN and finally decided to take it to my car repairs shop. My shop informed me my rear brakes, rotors, gasket and struts need to be replaced. I paid $400 for the repairs minus the struts. The struts were going to cost $1,200. I was on Vacation so my father spoke with Manuel and Manuel assured my dad he would take care of the struts and that he would contact us when he finds a good price on the parts. A couple weeks go by and I still hadn't heard from Manuel so I called him and he informed me he was NOT willing to help me. He was upset that I took it to another shop claiming if I would of taken the vehicle to him, he could have fixed it "No problem". Maybe he forgot about the previous times he "repaired" my vehicle and claimed everything was inspected and "running perfectly". That was in April of 2014. Since then I have had my speedometer go out as well as my Air Conditioner. I am extremely disappointed in Car City and Manuel Marin the owner. I worked 4 months of overtime to pay that down payment. I lost my mom to colon cancer a month prior to purchasing the Kia and I was only able to PAY IT OFF IN FULL because of my mother's inheritance. I feel completely taken advantage of and I hope no one else has to feel the stress I've had to endure. And if you ever read this Manuel I just want you to know "I trusted you and you took advantage of me. You should be ashamed of yourself." read more

Stay away! The "gentlemen" that run this horrible place are the worst. I bought a Honda Odyssey from them and the transmission began having problems within 2 weeks. I brought it in TWICE while it was still under warranty and they used obvious delay tactics to avoid having to replace it. It broke down a little over a month after buying it. They stuck me with half of the bill and acted like they were doing me a huge favor. Manuel is a sexist pig that insisted on talking down to me and over me every time I spoke to him. It was so bad I had to have my father deal with him just to get anything done. I reported their crooked asses to the BBB. read more
