So far I am $700 deep in repairs and looking like $400 to go. First their advertised price and mileage was different in the 3 different places they gave me to see pricing. Then told them I would be there after my 2 hour drive. I informed them before I left that I was taking the car to Montana and they said that is fine that all I needed was to show my ID to avoid paying California taxes. So I showed up with cash prepared to pay full asking price for the car and they informed me I needed a bill with my name on it from Montana and that unless I had that they wouldn't sell me the car. First the staff was great. Very helpful. Found the truck that I had come for. Worked a ok deal. I should stood my ground on trade in but that's my weakness. Love my new truck. But just a couple of issues. 1. After we completed deal. And turn over was going down. only one key was available. I was told by lot personnel FOB key was available for 50.00 online. We'll try 190.00 with programming. After market. 350.00+ dealer. my bad for letting that go. 2. Lot personal took truck in back and washed it very cool. We. my wife and I were very excited with our purchase grabbed the one key loaded kids off we went. Truck runs great still does we have had it for a couple of months now. Very happy. When we got home noticed a foot long Crease in passenger rear corner panel. though to wheel well. I asked my wife if she noticed this at lot she said no. I inspected crease and rubbed my finger across it. Wet paint rubbed off. WTF. I think this happened when truck was takin for wash At this point,lot 50miles away. And I didn't feel I would win arguing over this. so, That's it. Take it for what it's worth. Keep an eye out I feel they will screw you over if you give them a chance. Last note. I saw the screen that the margins on the deal Was made from my trade in and from my purchase as they left the wrong screen up when they were showing me my payment schedule on the loan. I am looking for a late model Kia Soul and am having a host of bad experiences. This is just one of several I'm reviewing: THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS!!! They will get you in there with the promise of a much better deal than advertised. Once you've driven all the way out to the desert they won't entertain any offers. They have a take it or leave it policy. Also, they don't seem to want to deal with cash purchasers. I'm not sure what they are charging in interest (I suspect a great deal) but they seem to prefer hefty interest payments to those of us who prefer to pay as we go. Further, they don't return calls and when you try to pin them down on a price they are incredibly rude. Lastly, I had the definite feeling that their condescension and nastiness was gender bias. If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT BUY a car from here! They will rip you off and then there is nothing you can do about it. Your stuck with a POS that you can not get rid of. First. They give you a warranty for the first month of purchase then give you the run around for the whole month if anything needs to be fixed. Second. Replacing old parts with parts off a different car doesn't constitute as "new parts" they are just as old as the old ones. Third. They never return phone calls, even when your car is in their possession, therefore you have no clue what "work" is actually being preformed. Prices on cars are pretty decent here and we thought we were getting a great deal but in reality these cars are from the auction and repaired (by mechanics that don't know a thing about cars) or are just total lemons. We've literally had to research all the problems with the truck then tell them what the problem is. So annoying. Save yourself the hassle and get a certified car from a dealership! read more

Will advertise one price on the Internet than up the price a few hundred when you get there. Cars are overpriced. You can get a new car for a couple grand more with lower interest rate at a real dealer and your payments will end up the same and you'll have factory warranty. The dealer offers 30 day warranty or 1000 miles. And if your car does mess up during that time, they take forever to respond. They tell you to bring it in tomorrow and when you do they say the mechanic isn't there. So by the time you actually get it there your 30 days are up and they won't help you. If your 31 days over because of holidays, than too bad for you. The office is dirty and there cars are dirty. The cars are packed with miles. And they are dinged up. I regret buying a car from this dealer. Go to another dealer. This place sucks. read more

I have spent the better part of last December shopping for a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler. I have searched in LA, OC and IE, visiting many sellers, both private parties and dealerships large and small. Not finding a quality vehicle with a reasonable sticker, I was on the verge of giving up for a while. Then, through a Craigslist ad I found Metro Auto Loan in Fontana. The jet black Wrangler in the photo immediately drew my attention for it appeared extremely clean for its age. Mileage was within my expectation, too. I curbed my hope as I had been disappointed so many times in previous visits based on a photo. Well, not that late December night. I walked into the Metro Auto Loan lot and was met by a friendly salesperson. The Jeep looked even better in person. Superb inside and out. Undercarriage was pristine, tires beefy and new looking. The softop appeared nearly brand new, shiny and taut with unblemished windows. Headlights shone bright with no hazing on them whatsoever. Having seen so many similarly aged Wranglers beat up and rusted out, I was very glad to behold one that finally met my expectation. Without delay we went on a test drive. Unlike perfunctory test drives given at most other dealers, our test drive was substantial and provided ample opportunity to feel the Jeep out. It drove beautifully. The Jeep was quite reasonably priced to begin with. Negotiation experience was productive and without drama. Final price was definitely satisfactory to me and so was the financing terms. My Jeep came with a limited time warranty. I took it in to repair the ventilation/AC unit two weeks after purchase. Within just a few days, all repaired under warranty. In summary, Metro Auto impressed me with their integrity and good business practice. It shows in the high quality of their inventory, below-market pricing, helpful employees, good financing and hassle-free honoring of the warranty. I want to add that their salespeople are really friendly, forthright and hard working. They will work with you patiently until the deal is done and take care of you when you come in for services. After I dropped off my Jeep for a warranty repair, they insisted on giving me a ride home, which I really appreciated, especially on a rainy day. I won't hesitate to go back for a repeat purchase and would confidently give referrals. If you are in the market for a used car or truck, Metro Auto should be on your short list. read more

these people DO NOT CARE about you, they only care about your money. My husband​ recently bought a 2006 F-150, and it was trash. IT WAS A LEMON CAR. As soon as he had signed the contract they had told him about 2 days later that no one wanted to pick up the loan because it was too small. They asked my husband to ask his bank to pick up the loan...- what kind of salesman asks the customer to ask their banker to pick up a loan....- it is the salesman's job to look for a bank to pick up the loan. Second, a week after my husband had the car, it started to have problems. The valve lifters on the truck were going bad and the transmission started to slip, and it turned off when turning the wheel to reverse. We took it in because of the 30-day warranty and they mentioned they were going to fix it. We got the call to pick it up and they had only changed the oil?? they told us to drive 500 miles and if the problem persisted they would change the oil again. We asked for that on paper, and they refused. And they went for a verbal contract/agreement. Absurd... we drove for 500 miles and the problem persisted they took it back and said they were going to fix it... point of the story is that they never fixed the valve lifters and stated that the transmission never slipped. Today, my husband and went in and told the Sales Manager Ray that we were frustrated and needed to get the car fixed as stated in the California Lemon Law. Ray refused, and I told him we were going to sue. He directly told me to shut my mouth as I did not know what I was talking about. As a first time buyer I believed everything they told me I bought it with the the hood latch not working and they promised to fix it, they did not provide a time frame for me to come back so I just took it back to get fixed and they lied to me the whole time they had my car. They said they took it to a shop but when I came back they were working on the parts trying to fix it together which makes no sense if they supposably took it somewere. At this point I have to take the loss and do everything myself while still paying for the car.
